I didn't expect that I was going to get hooked that early!This is my very first Unlimited Flow novel that I've read without the 'real death' into it. Yeah, this novel includes survival instances and stuff but the casualty level in those instances is zero. That makes this novel so refreshing. Our MC, Wu Jin/Little Witch, is one of the most likeable characters I've ever read, in my opinion. He was so energetic and bouncy but gentle and obedient at the same time. I didn't expect that Little Witch could trigger my maternal instinct. Even in the novel, he has more mother fans than girlfriend fans. He was also like a kid who was forced to hold weapons and was thrown in the crowd of rowdy and muscled men. He was an absolute newbie without any knowledge about weapons, guns, tactical maneuver and survival at all, but he was clever af! He was actually considered as the brain of the their team, and there are times when some contestants even 'copied his homework'. I love reading how Little Witch grows little by little. Oh, and I almost forgot! I also love his small curls so much. It was like his curls has its own personality. His curls absolutely defined his moods and it was also some sort of big boss radar LMAOOn the other hand, our ML, Wei Shi, is the definition of a god! He was basically a human weapon and a very overpowered character. But him being an OP character has some twist into it, because he deliberately wasn't showing his real strength. Except for Little Witch, nobody even remembered he existed as a contestant. He has that skill in scouting that can help him hide his presence. He is Little Witch's big boss and a very doting lover. I actually wished a couple of times to have a boyfriend like him. He is not too domineering and what I liked about him the most is he respects and supports Little Witch's decisions so much, especially in those important life situations. He never forced his own choices onto his lover like some typical overbearing partner. He lets Little Witch do whatever he wants but the big boss always make sure that he's right there if anything goes out of control. He helped Little Witch to train but when it comes to the competition, he lets him improve his skills on his own. I really respect his character so much. And did I mention how much he dotes his lover?! Like he sponsored a single elimination round to let Little Witch show the fruit of his efforts, but without abusing his authority at all. The part that I also loved about this novel aside from the humor is the supporting characters. Little Witch and Wei Shi have a competitive relationship with the other contestants but outside the elimination rounds, they are all good friends. I adore all of their interactions so much! And also, this is the first time I've seen a couple raising a menagerie. Little Witch and Big Boss literally raised a rabbit, a cat, a pterosaur and a flamingo as their pets, and they almost raised an alpaca too (which was a pity they didn't get to own it).In my opinion, this is a very unique survival novel and it was very worthy of having so many chapters. There are also some twists that you would never expect. I highly recommend this novel so much, especially for those who loved UF novels.

I say horror because there are a lot of ghosts involved but because of the MC, it always turned into a comedic situation. If you want a novel with horror instances where the ghosts were bullied by the eccentric yet clever MC and him befriending ghosts and adopting them as his family, you'll definitely loved this. The MC is not good in interacting with people but he is absolutely good at handling ghosts. But if you're looking for a shower of dog food, you might find this a bit lacking (as the relationship of the MC and ML really developed at the latter part of the novel, so as the dog food). Most of the time, you can't feel the ML's presence in the instance despite being with the MC but that was because he was letting the MC do his shenanigans with the ghosts and gathering the clues to solve the instance. I actually loved that part of the ML. He was not getting in the way of the MC's fun. He was just there to assist the MC. The arcs were also good. There were a lot of plot twists in every instances and I always looked forward on how the MC would use his cleverness to clear the instances.I agree why there are a lot of good reviews here but I can also understand why there are people who don't like this. All in all, this novel is a decent read and so easy to get into. I suggest that if you're hesitating, just give this novel a try first. You might like it.

This has been on my list for a long time now and after finishing this, I can now totally understand all the good reviews. In my honest opinion, this is definitely one of the best historical danmei I've ever read.The MC (Zhong Wan) has this shamelessness in him that was actually cultivated after enduring being at the lowest for so long. He was from a noble family and considered the reincarnation of the god of literature for having an innate gift in academics. But because of a power struggle and imperial fights, he ended up finding himself in a mud, completely and utterly humiliated. He lost his status and became a s*ave overnight. Because of all he had been through, he learned to ingratiate in order to raise and support his younger foster siblings, gradually getting used to his broken reputation. But despite all of that, the MC was the kind of shameless character that still finds himself blushing while letting his mouth spouts brazen nonsense. He was actually an effortlessly funny and likeable character. He was also so genuine and caring that you really can't stop yourself from loving him. His shamelessness sometimes reminded me of Wei Wuxian. The ML (Yu She), on the other hand, was considered a lunatic by most of the people. He was once an obedient, filial and righteous youth but because of some specific, heavy reasons, he changed a lot in the past few years as if he was a wholly different person. His temperament worsen and he didn't regard his own life at all. His mentality was 'if he dies, then he dies, but he would drag everyone with him'. This kind of attitude in a character actually makes me so anxious because of his unpredictability for his own safety. He often has bouts of fits when his mental state is unstable. He would act aggressive and crazy and that was part of his illness. But this mentality and this illness was gradually fixed after meeting the MC again after years of being apart. He slowly found the meaning of life again. He was also kind of a tsundere and the MC's shamelessness and straightforwardness was put to use. His teenager self reminded me so much of the teenager Lan Wangji.Both of the MC and ML's personality actually complemented each other so well. They both encountered an equally painful fate that they both didn't deserve. They were connected from the past to the present and their entanglement cannot be undone anymore, one can feel the profound sincerity of their affection. They loved each other so beautifully and deeply. The chemistry between them is so palpable and their antics made my stomach hurts from laughing so much. They also once had this hilarious and a not-angsty-at-all misunderstanding in their relationship that made me wheezed. They've actually become one of my favorite couples.What I like about this novel aside from the wonderful execution of the plot and the amazing characterization is the perfect timing of humor in the midst of angst. I remember finishing a particular chapter where it was so heartbreaking and my tears were literally flowing down my face and after just literally a second, in just a snap, I actually choked from laughing. I read a comment after that chapter that says it reminded them so much of the anime Gintama (which I highly agreed) in terms of throwing an unexpected humor while you were still heavily emotional, but not in a forced way. It was so natural that you would just find yourself having a mood swings but you still feel great. There were times when I literally prepared myself for the angst but maybe the author really didn't want her readers to stay depressed for too long because she can actually turn the atmosphere around in a completely different direction with no effort in just a single chapter. The emotional whiplash is too strong in this novel.Seriously, I highly recommend this novel to everyone! It's so great and definitely so worth it!! Just trigger warning for suicidal thoughts.

All for the sake of chasing... more>> his first love.This is a light, heartwarming, sweet and with little-to-no angst BL novel. The MC has a synesthesia which regarded as the fantasy part of the story (synesthesia is actually not a fictional thing though I'm not sure about the kind of synesthesia the MC has), but it was much more of a realistic, slice of life, spending his two-month post-highschool break in an island. Unlike the MC, I could never have done those embarrassing things to chase my crush, but maybe that's why I'm still a single dog LOL He's so determined and that's what I love about him, and his love and determination won over the already cynical in love ML.It's not really a big deal in my opinion since the MC is already in his right age but still, trigger warning for a huge age gap relationship (9 years) for those people uncomfortable in that kind of trope. The age gap actually played a big role in the story and that was where the conflict first rooted. I actually love how the young MC and the full-grown adult ML both provided the maturity and immaturity ideals of life and relationship on the table. And the story not only provided a romantic relationship but also a sweet and adorable family relationship (greetings to the ever supportive tea eggs granpa and the clever qiuqiu).This is a short read (in my opinion since I'm used to reading an average of 200-chapter novel) and very recommended (don't forget to read the five extra chapters!!). Might not be what you're looking for if you're more into drama and angst in a relationship. Please give this fluffy story a try!!

I knew there are a lot of good reviews about this novel but I didn't read what this was all about even before starting. To be honest, after seeing the one cover of this novel, I really thought I'll experienced so much angst. Though my heart really ached on the very first chapter (a kitten cries miserably, of course it will make your heart ached), this is a novel full of fluff and dog food (cat food? because you know, the ML's a cat lol).I loved the relationship dynamic of the MC and the ML, like they're each other's entire world. They both have their immaturity and childishness in them, but they handled their relationship quite well, like a real adult. They quickly resolved their issues because they communicate with each other. People, communication is the key! It's so beautiful how they love each other so much, the kind of love that no one can come between them because their attachment to each other was just so tight. The MC simps over the ML so hard even in the events before the novel starts and the ML is a lovable tsundere cat who sacrificed a lot for his owner and has a great dependence on him.I really did have a fun time reading this novel. This might not be the very best among the novels I've read, but this is still great one and my rating shows how much I enjoyed reading this. Highly recommended!!

Imagine how much I've cried to maintain my swollen eyes until the end. My heart also ached a few times. I really wanted to listen to the audio drama, but unfortunately, there are no available translated audio dramas. This is my second school life/coming of age BL novel I've read but this is my first time reading an 'angsty' one and despite all the tears I've spent, I have no regrets!! Trigger warning for h*mophobia. But all in all, highly recommended!!

That's why I love the MC and the ML so much!!!The MC (Tyron Odin/Lord Four, which is actually the gong) is the definition of OPness!! Others might find it exaggerated since he never once lost a fight all throughout the series but in my opinion, it's quite reasonable for him to be that overpowered. I remember this paragraph from the novel:The master made a sound of acknowledgement and he thought proudly inside that if, as a half-demon who's lived for so many years, he had been unable to play out a strategy to beat this group of human cubs, he might as well have smashed himself to death headfirst. And I agree!! Being a son of an elf and an incubus which gave him strength incomparable to others, having an innate talent for combat and honing it for thousand of years in order to survive, it's just understandable to be that strong and smart, especially if his opponents are just mere humans (human cubs in his definition). For me, it doesn't make the competition any less exciting. I actually loved the fighting sequences so much. Even if I know how strong the MC is, I can still feel my heart beats so fast because of so much anticipation. The narration in the fights is so well done!!!The novel showcased the MC's OPness that I sometimes forgot the the ML (Victor Li/Little Vic) is also an OP character. If the MC excels in combat and strategies, the ML excels in academic. But because he's mostly being a fanboy of his 'male god' the whole time, it sometimes slipped my mind how smart he is! I loved the ML so much!! He's definitely an adorable cinnamon bun. His personality reminds me so much of Little Witch from <Surprise!...> because they're both the same kind of adorable and the way they worship their man is also the same!!!This novel will give you so much dog food! Their relationship is not toxic and so healthy with no unnecessary drama at all. I adore their interaction so much! They're so meant for each other and everyone will agree. Also that one 'spicy' scene is soooo *chef's kiss*. I think that scene is one of the best smut scenes I've ever read. It's so hot!!!For those readers who haven't read an e-sports novel yet and now planning to read one, I think this novel is a very good first novel to pick based on my experience. I don't think it's very heavy and complicated in the e-sports part so it's a great choice so you won't get confused. I recommend this novel a lot if you just want fluff with some actions here and there. But I'll remind you again, if you don't want a very overpowered character, this might not be for you.

The translator also provided some visuals of the different materials, antiques, etc that were mentioned.This novel happened in an era when homos*xual wasn't widely known or accepted. So you can already imagine when the couple came out to their family. They received literal corporal punishment. But what I loved about this couple (Ding Han Bai and Ji Shen Yu) is that they really fight for each other's love. There's no angsty break up. They might be at some point in time forcefully separated, but they never actually let go of each other.Ding Han Bai was beaten bloody by his father, but he did not regret his 'mistakes' of having a relationship with Ji Shen Yu, and was then kicked out of the family. He actually became anxious that Ji Shen Yu might regret it after seeing how he was disowned by his family, and in the end, he might let go of him.But the wonderful thing is Ji Shen Yu fought hard for him. He doesn't have the mentality of letting his love go in order for things to go back in place, in order for Ding Han Bai 'not to get hurt anymore than he already feel' (which was a common thing to do in this kind of situation). Even Ding Han Bai was willing to be disowned, and Ji Shen Yu respected that and didn't do something that would add to his lover's emotional burden, like breaking up. I've read only a few novels with couples who fought for their love like that. They accepted the guilt of letting their parents down, but it didn't necessarily mean they would sacrifice their own love and happiness for them. Selfish, yes, but most of the time, love is all about selfishness. That's the reason why their situation is emotional but not that angsty.This novel is overall a decent read and can be considered as light. It's a short and heartwarming one and I think a lot of people would love and appreciate this. There are a lot of trigger warnings and the translator actually included it at the start of the chapters.

This novel, though it has a lot of technical terms that I've seen for the first time here, it didn't affect my total enjoyment. The gameplay is understandable. The translator did a good job at providing footnotes for those LoL terms, and aside from that I actually found myself google-ing. I really did learn some basics about the game.The MC (Jian Rong/Soft), I freaking love him so much!! I've seen countless shameless characters with different levels of arrogance in a novel, but I can tell you that the MC has a charming uniqueness in his characterization. He's the absolute king of tr*sh talks. He claimed to be the kind of person who never fails an argument, and I actually can't imagine him losing to one. Aside from being so good in playing, he's also great at throwing insults. He's a trueborn savage! He only clams up in front of his idol, the ML (Lu Boyuan/Road). It was actually so funny when he was trying to act like a decent, well-behaved person in front of the ML, though his fierceness is one of the many things the ML loved about him. Their relationship can be considered slow romance because they got official pretty late, but I'm telling you, the dog food crumbs were scattered since the beginning. You won't be starving from their sweetness. I also freaking loved the other people in their team: Xiao Bai, Pine, Yuan Qian and their coach Ding-ge, and also the pro players in the other teams like XIU, Savior, Kongkong, etc. All their dynamics are so entertaining and so funny (Savior is the absolute pure human being, he's so adorable!!)And the most hilarious part of this novel? Of course it's Soft's dad fans!!! They're the most unique fans I've ever seen, and their interactions with Soft are just as unique. Reading their barrage, my stomach genuinely hurt from laughing so much. It's so much fun reading how Soft and his dad fans exchanged insults with each other, but they're also the most real fans out there. Soft actually doesn't need his anti-fans anymore because his dad fans can do the job of flaming him themselves. They're the kind of people that will beat someone who will bully you, because they're the only ones allowed to bully you. They're the best!Also, the extra 7-chapter story of the side couple (Xiao Bai & Pine) weren't really enough!!! I want more chapters of them!! It's just too bad that the two of them really developed into that kind of relationship after the main story, otherwise, we might have received more dog foods from them. Try reading this one out, I swear you're not gonna regret it! You'll definitely enjoy it.

Because I've always love to see a devoted and doting lovers, of course I'm all for this novel!! This has some story twist here and there but nothing very deep plot-wise. The lightness of the story plot is refreshing, though I can't say that this novel is relatively light in the emotional aspect, because the arcs surely pulled my heartstrings because of the heartwarming feelings given by the ML and the MC's family in every worlds. If you want a refreshing read that will make your heart warm and teeth rot from so much sweetness (without being cringey), definitely pick this adorable novel up!!

It's not surprising that I enjoyed this novel so much, just like how... more>> I enjoyed reading ICDI because they definitely have the same vibe, from the e-sports aspect to the humour, great teamwork and of course, the fluffy, fuzzy romance between the MC and the ML.I would have given this a 5 star rating just like ICDI because I loved everything about this novel. The only thing that made me cut off a half point is because of the 'transmigration' part. I mean, you would have easily overlooked that the MC actually transmigrated because he was already in the 'other world' from the beginning and the mention of him transmigrating was only like a paragraph or two. There was no explanation about it, no 'how' and 'why' it happened and it was like the transmigration was there just for the sake of having it there, no explained reason. The flow of the story can be done without the transmigration part, but it's not unpleasant. I just feel like it's unnecessary.But overall, there's nothing negative I can say. I loved how the author concluded the ending. The ML finally got the rest he deserved after playing (mistreated) for years, and how the MC fully supported him with his decision. The ending has the best retirement outcome he could have, and I can totally understand his softness towards the MC because if there's no MC, he could have stayed being wronged in his old team and retired with so much regret. He received the warmth he needed. I just love this couple so much, their distinct personalities and how their relationship progressed. The ambiguity of their relationship in the beginning was also so hilarious. I highly recommended this novel so much. It's just a light read, no angst and unnecessary drama, full of fluffy and heartwarming moments. You'll find yourself laughing so hard one moment, then suddenly stuffed with so much dog food a moment later. Go read this!!!

Okay, I've read novels with more chapters than this, for example <Card Room> which... more>> was written by Die Zhiling as well with 600 chapters, but why do I feel like TSG is much longer than CR? This novel has a slow-paced, e-sports-focused plot with a romantic subplot. I don't mind slow-paced novels, I actually liked them because of how developed and detailed they are. I just felt like 400 chapters is just too much for this novel? I mean, I won't mind if it ended in chapter 300 because I felt like there are some dragging chapters here and there. But! Regardless of that point, this novel is great! I find the concept of 'Wulin' (which I think is based on the real online game with the same name) and how the competition progressed so interesting. Liu Chuan (MC) has a very interesting and enjoyable personality. He was described as someone who can attract hatred (in a joking way) whenever he opens his mouth. He's very popular in the e-sports circle and all professional players 'bully' him but respected him at the same time. He's one of the best pro player that retired once to finish his university degree but plans to strive his way back to being a pro player. You can actually see how he recruited and cultivated a lot of talented newcomers. Though Liu Chuan himself has no character development (since he's already like a mature, experienced person in his career who already grew even before the story starts), he's actually the one who paved the way for his teammates' character development. Because of his existence, a lot of characters reached where they are right now. He's a sunny person and he's kind of arrogant (in a funny way) but he respected his opponents a lot and he never looked down on them. I actually loved how persistent he is and he's a type of character who is far-sighted and planned well for the future. Some might not understand his decisions because a lot of people only see what's in front of them, but Liu Chuan is different. I admire his character a lot.The romance in this novel is actually not the focus, but it doesn't mean it's not there. His and Wu Zewen's (ML) personality is like day and night, but they actually complemented each other in a lot of ways. If Liu Chuan is Longyin Team's pillar, Wu Zewen is Liu Chuan's pillar. It's so satisfying to see how they supported each other. There are also a lot of side couples here! And they're all so likeable. This novel has a lot of relationship tropes. There's a colleague couple, fan-idol couple, master-apprentice couple, captain-vice captain couple, old-classmates-who-hadn't-seen-each-other-for-a-long-time couple and a couple who looked like an old husband and wife. I enjoyed all the supporting characters within the MC's team, as well as the characters from the other teams. They're so fun to read. I think they all have their own happy ever after, both in career and love life, but I would just like to mention that there's one character that I just hope got his own happiness in his career. It's Li Cangyu (Lao Mao/Old Cat), the captain of the Canglan Team. He was just a supporting character who didn't appear very much but I actually loved how dedicated he is. He transferred from the other division of e-sports to Wulin when the novel started so he and his team are actually the real newcomer in the Wulin circle. Even the other pro players, especially Liu Chuan, respected him a lot because of how talented and strong he is, but unfortunately his teammates aren't that great and it was so hard for him to carry his team on his own. I really felt bad for him and he deserved to have his own official recognition. It's just sad that there was actually no clarification about what happened to him and his team after the 13th season competition :(Overall, I highly recommended this. This novel is a worth read, though it only has like 14 chapters that has English translation. I MTLed the 400 chapters and thankfully, the MTL was decent enough. This is actually a very good e-sports novel in my opinion and I saw that this has 2 more sequels (from the same franchise but not really affect each other)? On my way to the second novel!

Every arc is just as intriguing as the last, if not more! I've always said this, but I'm always into clever characters, and this novel gave me exactly that! Both the MC (Tang Fan) and the ML (Sui Zhou) are smart and competent characters with calm and compose demeanor. Though there were times when I was on the edge of my seat, wondering how they're able to solve the cases when they're already cornered, I was also anticipating what kind of step they're going to take to outsmart their enemies. I loved how both of them were made into deep characters with great substance. I prefer that kind of characters.This novel has a tiny bit romance, but if you're only looking for a full on fluff, I don't think this one is for you. This has a very slow romance and their romantic relationship is not really the focus of the story. They have this tacit, mutual understanding of their feelings, a feeling that doesn't need to be said aloud to understand, and it reflected on why their romance was not narrated directly and explicitly. I also love the familial love that was portrayed here. I would have loved to be a part of Tang Fan's family. And also his bizarre 'friendship' with the arrogant and proud Wang Zhi is just so entertaining, despite of them having an opposite personality. They have this not so ordinary connection from the very first case and their verbal sparring is always so interesting to read.I've watched the drama adaptation a few months ago but decided to drop it after a few episodes in, but I think I'm going to pick the drama up again because I really enjoyed this novel so much. This is absolutely, highly recommended. Just trigger warning for deaths in every arc.

When I wrote my review on The Strongest God, I expressed my desire to see a satisfying ending for Cat God/Li Cangyu (MC) because among all the characters in TSG, he has the most unfavorable career until the end. I love his character's personality so much in TSG even though he only appeared quite a few times. I didn't expect that the sequel would be about him and his final push to achieve his dream. It was really a pleasant surprise.
I think I loved this novel a tiny bit more (0.5 rate difference) than The Strongest God. TSG and GLS both have an almost 400 chapters but I really felt like TSG is a lot longer because it has some dragging chapters. In the TSG, the building of the new team and recruitment of the members happened in the first quarter to almost halfway of the novel and the main competition itself in the last half revolved in just one regular season. Imagine how a single season of competition was stretched in 200+ chapters, it really dragged a bit sometimes. On the other hand, GLS not only included the recruitment of the team members and one regular season competition, it also has the World Competition so it doesn't seemed dragging at all. But regardless, both novels are great!!
Just like TSG, this novel only has a romantic subplot and it focused on the actual e-sports competition. I love that both Li Cangyu (MC) and Ling Xuefeng (ML) are god-level players and has their own OPness, but they don't always win. And even if they lose a match, it didn't affect their reputation as a great god. This novel is actually my first e-sports novel where the MC and ML are in different teams. I usually read the main couple being in the same team and reading this was kind of refreshing. It's so good to see the MC and ML being competitive with each other but also care about each other at the same time. They both have this captain demeanor in front of other people and only showed their softness in front of each other. They have this incomparable tacit understanding and it makes them the best rivals in the league, as well as the best lovers. And what I find hilarious about their relationship? It was whenever Li Cangyu, the actual shou in the couple, called Ling Xuefeng his 'wife' and thought for a long time that he's going to be the top in the relationship, only to get flabbergasted when he got pinned down and was entered from behind LMAO I always burst out laughing whenever he has this thought of 'eating his wife' and I was like, "wife? Yeah right!" Though the main story was not focused on the romance of the main CP and side CPs, each of the couples has their own extra chapters/small arc after the main story. The extra chapters fed me a loooot of dog foods and the initial lack of romance was solved in those chapters.
There's one more novel left in the series that I haven't read and I've learned that the apprentices of Li Cangyu and Ling Xuefeng, the little princes Qin Mo and Xiao Han, are the next MC and ML. I'm so excited for that!
This novel is totally worth of my time. I highly recommend this for those into e-sports novels. My only wish is to discover more novels like this in the future. No heavy angst and it's a complete stress reliever for me.

TSG and GLS both showcased the e-sports games, Wulin and Miracle, that have been in public professionally for years but TKR showed us the newest game Peerless Jianghu. Since this is a new game and the events happened since the very first professional league was launched, the story let us, the readers, explore the game with the characters. We're also learning the game together with them and you won't feel that you were left behind in the gameplay aspect. I actually liked how this novel, together with TSG and GLS, gave us so much enjoyment in the e-sports part of the story. The matches were all so intense and thrilling, and the tactics in this were as great as in the first two novels.The pair of Qin Mo (MC) and Xiao Han (ML) was actually the youngest main CP in whole trilogy but they experienced as much hardship as all the older characters had. I loved this couple so much especially since I've followed their characters from GLS. You can clearly see how much they've grown from the immature and arrogant teenagers/apprentices to the dependable, reliable and mature captain and vice-captain of their team. The events that happened in the 3 years gap between GLS and TKR has a great impact to the development of Qin Mo and Xiao Han's personalities. I can also say that they're actually fated lovers. One wrong decision in the beginning and they could have easily missed the chance to see each other again after being apart for 3 years. Actually, meeting each other, both back then and in the present, can be said to be the work of fate. Their relationship is just so natural and comfortable and you wouldn't even believe it if they said that they don't love each other. They have an opposite personality but they fit each other so well, and they have this deep understanding between them. They're comparable to Liu Chuan-Wu Zewen and Ling Xuefeng-Li Cangyu couples when it comes to having the most natural and loving relationship.Of course, the side CPs are also adorable and I especially loved Chu Yan-Zhu Qingyue couple among them. Both of them were also side characters from GLS and I was not expecting to see them here and they actually got together!! This couple just hits hard for me because I can feel the stability and maturity from the way they handled their relationship, especially Chu Yan who I can feel like a dependable and reliable partner. Maybe because this third book was full of young pair of lovers, and Chu Yan was the 'oldest' (late 20s) so I can feel his maturity. But the stories of all the CPs are also really worth the read!! So sweet and heartwarming.When I finished the last chapter of TKR, I actually felt kind of sad. I suddenly feel that I'm saying goodbye to a very special friend. Though the plots of the trilogy didn't really affect each other, all three novels exists in the same world and are kind of connected. From TSG to GLS to TKR, I experienced so much emotions. I laughed, cried, blushed and I anticipated every matched. This trilogy was a long journey and I didn't regret reading all of them, but I also feel reluctant to part with them. I love all the novels so much and even all the characters in each novels were so dear to my heart. If I have to put my personal opinion, even though the plot didn't really affect each other, I suggest everyone to follow the order from TSG to GLS to TKR. You can connect the recurring characters from the other novels more easily and you'll enjoy it more.Seriously, I highly recommend this novel, and also the first two novels, to all esports novel lovers out there. Even those non-esports novel lovers, you guys can also try them. You'll definitely love all of them!!!

Xiao Nan finally found the people who really cares about him sincerely and the place where he really belongs, a place full of mysteries but strangely made him feel the contentment he never felt. This story really brought me so much warmth that I never expected I'd received when I started this. There were heartaches here in there sprinkled in the story but it was there to emphasize the comfort and sense of belonging that Xiao Nan achieved in that special place.This novel is so heartbreaking and so heartwarming at the same time. I was on the verge of crying multiple times and I even thought this would give a painful ending, but I'm glad that all is well. This is a fast read with only 54 chapters and personally, it's really worth the read. I'm not depressed myself but I think I would recommend it to those who are. This has some really good lines about persuading someone to live and someone trying to continue living persistently after experiencing an excruciating life. A really great read! I would actually recommend this to anyone!

I was already hooked from the very first chapter.Aside from the political intrigue that I always loved, what I really love to see is how an as*hole character redeemed himself. Jing Shao/Wang Ye (MC) was truly an as*hole in the first life. He was the third son of the emperor who was forced in this marriage with Jun Qing/Wang Fei (ML) by the empress in order to cut off his chance for the throne. He was hot-tempered, reckless and short-minded who vented his anger to his Wang Fei and chose to mistreat him, not knowing that in the end when he was blamed for the set of crimes he didn't commit, when almost everyone pointed fingers at him, the only person who stayed by his side was exactly the person he neglected for 10 years. After being reborn, he devoted himself to his Wang Fei and really did everything to protect him. I am actually weak to doting and devoted lovers because those characters always makes my heart soft and I was actually glad that the author didn't really 'fleshed out' that as*hole version of Jing Shao from the first life because I would have really hated him. Mentioning only the tidbits of his attitude in the past life was already making me so mad. Anyway, I love the him in the second life and his dynamic with his Wang Fei. So much love and trust between each other were the strong foundation of their relationship. Jun Qing deserved the best in the world! He's so smart and gentle and despite having a difficult life with his family, he maintained his pure heart. That's why I was fuming when this beautiful soul was mistreated so badly by his husband in the past life. I was also glad that he finally had the chance to flaunt his cleverness in front of everyone. He has this calm and rational mind, which complements to his husband's recklessness and bravery. They have opposite personalities, which filled up their differences but they never clashed. I love that about them. Oh, I also loved the relationship between Jing Shao and his brother Jing Chen. I rarely see royal siblings in historical novels who sincerely care and love each other, without the touch of betrayals usually seen with the imperial princes who are seeking for the throne. Totally recommend this novel. If reading that synopsis didn't pique your interest, I really don't know what's wrong with you. This might not be the best novel for everyone, but this is definitely worth it. I also love the fluffiness of extra chapters and also recommend you to read that.

If you're planning to read this, you've got to know that this novel has A LOT... more>> of trigger warnings from beginning to end, and most of them would be really disturbing and morbid and really not for everyone. I can perfectly understand those people who don't like this novel because of those unpleasant aspects. But since I'm the kind of reader who wouldn't shy away from the ugliness of the humanity, there were times that it bothered me but it wasn't enough reason to drop this. Because I can honestly say that I was thoroughly invested in reading this book. It really hooked me!Second, both the MC and the ML are not particularly good people. I repeat, they are not conventionally good people. You might not like them because they're not naïve, kind and merciful and they wouldn't think twice to use people to their own advantage. They don't have the hero mentality who's crazy on helping everyone. They are even willing to sacrifice someone for their own goal. But they have set their own bottom lines. They would not indiscriminately harm innocent people, but they are especially ruthless and cold-blooded when it comes to dealing with people who provoked and harmed them. Expect to see them make their enemies pay them back a hundredfold. Every arc happened in different worlds and all of them have revenge plot on them. This novel is about the MC who was once chained by the system in a virtual world consisting of different 'small' worlds. He was forced to be the villain in every world he came in without having a freedom to act on his own, then by the end, was always miserably killed by the supposed 'protagonists' of that world without a fight. He experienced hundreds, if not thousands, of those worlds before he was able to break away from the system's control. After gaining his freedom, he can act whatever he wanted in those worlds. He still woke up in a body of a 'villain' every time but he already gained the chance to retaliate against the 'protagonists'. From there, the MC started his own revenge. And his cruel revenge would always leave his enemies neither wanting to live nor die. He has this revenge motto, "The greatest joy from revenge would be to lift them up to the heaven, as high as possible, then let them fall to the ground, dying little by little from bone-crushing despair". He didn't strike them as soon as possible. He would raise his enemies hope and self-esteem then viciously crushed it. That's how ruthless he is. On the other hand, the ML has this mysterious vibe in him. He seems to be following the MC in every world but he actually has no memory of him. The ML has this instinct of falling in love with the MC in every world. In the first three worlds, the MC was not yet sure but he has this hunch that his lover from the first world was the same person as the guys he was inevitably attracted with in the next worlds. When he confirmed that in every world his lover was there, he had set this mission of looking for him. Kissing would be the only way to identify his lover (imagine how hard it was for the MC to look for the ML) but his lover can always picked the MC out of the crowd regardless of his 'memory loss'. The ML always, I mean always, fell in love with the MC in the most passionate way, no matter what world they are in. I was actually quite frustrated because the moment he confirmed that his lover was 'following' him in every world, the more he looked for him, the more he missed who the real ML is. He had this situation where he kissed the wrong guy but the right guy was just literally by his side the whole time. I always felt cheated whenever that happened. That actually stressed me out. But around arc 13, something happened that made the MC easily detect his lover and he now found his chance to be the one chasing the ML. It was quite cute. The arcs where the MC was not confused about the identity of his lover, those arcs are my personal favorite. Their relationship was not particularly healthy but their burning, unconditional love is what I always wanted to see. Their love transcends everything, even world and time. Honestly, this novel is quite flawed. It has a lot of unpleasant things and might not really for everyone, but I personally loved this novel. I would be rational and not rate this novel as perfect, but this is definitely my guilty pleasure. If you're planning to read this, please beware of the trigger warnings such as death, su*cide, r*pe, in*est, huge age gap relationship (sometimes the other person was minor), mu*der, bestiality, cheating, prostitution, drugs, bullying and many more. You see, this really has a lot of distressing things but if you can bear it, you really need to read this.

This novel is a heavy Sci-Fi novel with a lot of science terms and it made me feel so dumb, but it's great! This has an apocalypse setting with mutated creatures rather than zombies. Humanity was about to go extinct and the desperation to survive is quite palpable throughout the novel. The story is heavy and emotional. I felt hopeless myself at one point, thinking how can they survive this world.An Zhe (MC) is a naïve, pure and innocent little mushroom turned into human and risk his little life to retrieve his spore while Lu Feng (ML) is a cold, merciless and ruthless judge who executed people who's suspected of being infected/mutated. They have opposite personalities but they do have something in common, their determination and firm conviction. When they decided that they need to do something, no one can shake their principle, both as a human and as a mushroom. Their relationship also progressed so naturally. They both experienced tragic things and if I wasn't informed beforehand that this novel is HE, I would have cried even harder. Knowing that this is HE was the only thing that comforted me in the middle of reading the desperation to survive. This is indeed a wonderful novel. I'm new to apocalyptic setting so I'm not quite used to reading this, but this is really great. Now I understand how a lot of people really loved this. Because I, too, would recommend this for everyone!

But overall, this novel is fluffy and sweet.Bai Lang (MC), after getting betrayed by his friends, family and lover in his past life and was pushed to his last breath, he was then given a chance to start over again 10 years prior to his death. His relationship with Qiu Qian (ML) in his past life was actually not that good. He was constantly offered to be the latter's kept lover whenever he needed money for his family's debt and because of the feeling of being repressed and cornered by Qiu Qian, he didn't really have a good thought of him. But after his death, he only realized that when no one was there when he died, Qiu Qian was the only person who mourned for him. Their relationship in his second life also didn't start in a positive light, but what I love is how their feelings progressed from there, from being a 'paid lover' to being a real one.Qiu Qian is a possessive partner but he NEVER forced Bai Lang into doing things he never wanted. They have a great communication in their relationship. At first, because of the idea of his rebirth and what happened in his past life, Bai Lang always kept his feelings to himself, but Qiu Qian is a straightforward guy. Though he's not eloquent enough in saying his feelings, he can still be blunt and sincere about it. So gradually, they established a very healthy communication in their relationship. They talked with each other and discussed things like an adult. There's no unnecessary misunderstanding and drama between them. They sincerely trust each other. They have a very sweet and fluffy relationship and I'm all for it! And Qiu Qian is a very supportive lover. When Bai Lang wanted to do something, he wouldn't stop him, instead he would stand by his side and support him. He would only interfer if it might affect Bai Lang's health, but most of the time, he's very encouraging. I really love their relationship so much!!Also, introducing Qiu Qian's son, Xiaohai, was one of the best things that happened in this novel. He's an adorable, sweet little cinnamon roll that everyone would definitely adore!! He is the sunshine of both Qiu Qian and Bai Lang and he completed the harmonious family of three. I also find it so heart melting whenever he clings himself to his Ah Bai. His cuteness would make one wants to adopt him!!Aside from the fluffiness of the family of three, there would also be a lot of face-slapping moments that would really satisfy everyone. And also, don't forget to read the extra chapters as well. We've got to see a short time-skip of the kids Xiaohai and Rong Zan in their teenager year and it's absolutely lovely!!
