Doesnt follow the normal tropes, interesting read so far

The plot line is really interesting and the mystery makes you keep reading more. It's a unique mix of horror and transmigration 

The ML is quite pitiful, his personality might be a turn off for some people though

(spoiler) FL has her brother that dotes on her and a half brother that hates her and her brother for driving his mother to su*cide (even though it wasnt really their fault). but dt an encounter in their childhood that half brother likes her  but tries not to. turns out she isnt even their sister. But the ML is the buddhist leader from another country. The lead romance doesnt happen until later in teh story (ch56 onwards), but the main story follows the hardship the FL faces, and how she outwits/ manouveurs around political events. And her relationship with her brother is really touching. I read the viet translation (ga cho mot ten hoa thuong)... more>> as the eng one is still ongoing. Defintely worth a read. The blurb sounds more comical/lighthearted than it is; the novel is quite serious and solemn.

Sidenote: the transmigration into a novel trope seems unecessrya because its not mentioned much in the story except to let her know the future events. it would have made more sense if it was a rebirth story.  <<less
