Of course, when she sees him closing his eyes and standing still, the FL is like uh why aren’t you moving? I need your help to make a snowman. Lol our ML is so self-sacrificing.

Like when he claims that the river they have to cross is super cold and the weak FL wouldn’t be able to handle it at all so he HAS to carry her on his back to across because there is absolutely no other way lol

The romance is pretty slow but very satisfying. ML might start off as hating her for tampering his sister 's protective talisman (which is the doing of the system).

Her love is not shown in an obvious manner in which she tells the ML directly that she likes him. Instead you can see it through her actions. It was somewhat indicated in the arc where Mu Sheng was feeling insecure and he controlled and imprisoned her to marry him. While Mu Sheng thought that she was hypnotized, in reality she was awake and just went along with him. She didn't mind marrying this yandere at all and was fully prepared to accept the flaws that came with him

btw she doesn't follow the system missions every time and has attempted to exploit loopholes when possible

He endures brainwashing and ab*se, thinks it's fine that he has to protect a "sister" that's the least righteous one dimensional waste. He's the most emotional, whiny, waste of a male lead. Without the MC rationalizing his ab*se, he'd be the ML everyone would wish the MC would leave.

OGML is so bland, I choked. He's dumb, but creates an opportunity for the MC to bond with the dumba**, overly emotional douche that is the ML. FL is so boring her character setting is so locked on jealousy that it refuses to be anything else. She's petty, heartless, and the exact opposite of a righteous, upright character. I don't know what her purpose is except being petty.

should be take out the damn story as it's the single most worthless concept the author included. It doesn't do anything she doesn't already know. Remove it, and I swear nothing would change. All she needs is the "Seduce both men and somehow make this incoherent dynamic not backfire spectacularly" prompt, and it would be the same.

Even after they got married, ML keep MC from the story ML fearing that she still have feeling for him (which is not). Even before they married, Mu Sheng (ML) use some kind of magic to control MC so she would married him. Basically made her his doll for 7 days, which she would married him but not very happy with his method. Our ML fall helplessly in love with our MC, that in their marriage vow instead of "in this life, never betrayed" our ML change it to "life and death will always entangled" according to MTL.

I think there's a disconnect in the author's writing. I know the ML's psychotic. But girl, you almost died!! She should have been angrier and tore off the ML's face. But no, she acted for the "greater good" of the group and exchanged childish banters with the ML for revenge. Although, she knows it's just another world and there's a system backing, I can't empathize with her.

I love how mu sheng doesn't change into a total angel bc miaomiao knows her limits. there are parts where mu sheng doesn't listen to her when she tells him to stop but I think it's important that he regrets his actions and apologizes to her later. the novel doesn't shirk away from pointing out that mu sheng gets off on controlling miaomiao and he himself struggles with it. even early on in the novel we see that there are instances where mu sheng changes his mind a lot.

he made the decision to hurt people but stops himself before it gets to the point of no return, like wiping out miaomiao's family or using miaomiao to heal himself. a normal person would have stopped themselves before even doing it but it wouldn't be fair to judge him based on normal standards so I think mu sheng's doing good.

i love it when later on he starts to feel guilty and miaomiao ruthlessly tells him that it's kinda late in the game to regret his evil deeds. then she points out that she's also committed mu*der so if he wants her to be scared of him he should be scared of her too lol miaomiao is really perfect for mu sheng!

I feel like the only reason I stayed was the female lead. Miamiao was just too precious, I actually liked her. The male lead? Mmmm...I understand he had a bad past, which caused a lot of trauma on him but, I just couldn't find it in me to like him. Yes I felt bad for him, no child should have to go through what he did. The story was flowing pretty well until it wasn't. I honestly got to a point of the story where I didn't know what in the world was going on. I was like hold up! Pause! Rewind! Is this a flashback? Are we in the present? Are we looking at what a different character is doing right now or did I somehow end up in a different story? Idkkkkkkkk.

The story about ML parents was a tragedy. The author notes make sense though, the ML father felt that he was lied too so he made the hasty decision to leave the ML mother. But he regretted it and was about to come back right away but his memory was tampered by the evil sister. The saddest part was when he woke up and realized that he had neglected the mother. The ML father's sister was definitely the most rotten evil in the story. All of her deeds originated from greed and affected a lot of people. I honestly wished that she suffered more.
