    Actually both male leads are too scarred and both deserved a happy ending. I cried so much for Du Jingting (read extras to understand). He should've been happy wit her however time really is unreliable.

    This is an age gap. She's 28 and he's 21. She's a P.E. teacher and he's a retired basketball player.

    Initally, I felt sorry for her ex and I even thought he's the actual ML (blame me for not understang the sypnosis, my bad). coz truthfully in the current timeline, the ex had not done anything to hurt her yet (except for being possessive and deceiving her). However, he started to become a sc*mbag and took revenge against the FL/ML.
