Hello, MTLer here! I just finished reading and can't stand that there wasn't any reviews here yet so imma go ahead and try!

This novel is an absolute gem! Just like the author's other novels' it made me cry again but I'm not complaining tho haha.

Our FL was very smart, energetic and optimistic. It was no wonder she appeared like a sun to ML. She was a very good lawyer and tries her best in everything she does. I really admire how she can stick to her principles and moral values... more>> even at the worst times of he life. She is a very very strong woman. I really admire her for that.

Our ML was a psychologist researcher. He was cold and silent but he had the purest heart. He might appear apathetic to her but he always listens and remembers everything she does and says. I really admired how he kept loving her after all those things and after all those years.

They met when they were young. FL relentlessy chased ML and was quite creative at that. I don't find her annoying at all even she might appear desperate to some. Her antics are just too funny and adorable. After 3 years of chasing him, they finally got together and their schoolmates thought he was forced but he just didn't know to properly express and act like that to her it for a REASON. They broke up at some point and ML went away. They met again after 8 years and FL chased him again. And ofcourse, they were together again after experiencing so many things :)

The plot, just wow! I honestly didn't expect that it would end up this way after reading the first chapters. I love how everything connected and I'm so glad I guessed the mastermind right hehe. It was a rollercoaster ride. I'm just glad that FL was not like those any other dumb FL out there and ML was even more amazing. And even the Villains weren't totally bad. They had their reasons and their good sides and at some point it wasn't totally their fault. The ending was bittersweet and even those special chapters

Overall, I just totally love this novel. My mind is a mess and missed some points and I didn't really told much just go read it!!!!!!!

The translations aren't much yet but it very good so far! Really looking forward to reading it again after being completed. <<less

This novel deserves more ratings!!!

Oh my God the ML!!!! His love is literally boundless..... when I got to know the actual reason they broke up what actually happened I cried so hard 😭😭..... my God this guy HE IS THE STANDARD!!!!!

And I love the FL. She is amazing smart, strong. She is someone who makes you want to admire her.....

At first I was dissatisfied with the ML. I felt he was so cold but people he is such a sweetheart he is I literally have no words for how amazing... more>> he is.

He literally got rapped because of FL😭😭. It wasn't her fault because at that time she wasn't in control of her body but he doesn't know that and he still came back for her after he treated his autism..... he never blamed her..... Poor FL got so traumatised after knowing the truth that ML had to literally remove her memories

People give this a chance because this is the ultimate perfection of romance for me. And best part it's not just about romance we have cases to solve as well she is an amazing lawyer......

There are many types of love. You just have to find the one that suits you the most and is most comfortable.

4.5 for me. What a ride! The twists inside the twists are mind blowing, that was unexpected at all. It was a mixed of kdramas "mouse" and "awaken". Though it focuses more on the crime, mystery side (all of Dear series in that regard) than the love story itself. It did not give me the same angst or vibe and not cleanly written as white olive tree or Ruon... more>> chun and He jingming, maybe because Dear series was conceived first. So I gave it 4.5 stars.

The way Zhen Yi chase after Yan Ge is really creative, it didn't feel too force nor stalk'ish (is that even a word). It feels like Ban Jieum from see you in my 19th life. I laughed a lot. And yeah, don't always wait for the man to chase. Move girl! It isn't always sound too low nor disgraceful for the woman. Just like what Zhen Yi said, "man like him (Yan Ge, Yan Xu, Bian Qian) needs a woman like them to do the chasing. And I like how she actually strive to be worthy of him which, I think, most of the author's FL. They walked a different path from the norm. Like Nanya from little south wind, Ji Xing from As beautiful as Beijing, Chun'er from Ruo Chun and He Jingming, and Song Ran from white olive tree. They're not just your usual damsel in distress.

As for the crimes in each arc, hahah, I never felt so s*upid before, I was only able to guess 2 real culprits correctly. I have a few suspects in mind but yeah they were just accomplices not the real culprit. For the mastermind, clues were all over, but I didn't suspect that person at all. S*upid me

I want more of Yan Xu and An Yao, they're cute.

I'm also wishing for the other Dear series to be translated (If I'm being greedy, all of the author's novels actually😭. The Wind series is even better!) esp, Dear Archimedes. Yan Su's and Zhen Ai's story is like that of Conan and Ai Haibara less the part where they shrunk and became children. <<less
