Despite not talking to people much, the forest ranger talks eloquently and expresses his views coherently. I always have trouble verbalising my thoughts but he does it so well. I think that living with someone with clinical depression is something you really won’t be able to understand until you are in the same situation. It's very unique since it's written in second POV, there are multiple routes (with a few BE), and I loved the fact that the characters were affected by the big event that happened in the story but were not directly involved. In the end, it's a story about them. They only want to run away from their shackles and live together. Would recommend to those who are fine with the tags and have some patience. It was still quite entertaining ad I did like MC and ML's banter (when they're not being awful to each other). MC himself is an aloof type but he clearly has a soft spot for ML. I love how MC is just so "I'm getting married" but it's just him going on blind dates because it's a step towards marriage. ML is just extra devoted to MC and has been chasing him for a long time. He's kinda cute even though he's a little black bellied haha. Overall, recommended if you want this sort of story. The story definitely has a good amount of angst but you start to feel hope later on because of ML's actions. ... more>>

They get together AFTER MC meets his "destined" alpha who is totally not MC's type at all. MC does not want to use pheromones to pick a spouse and damn ML is hot!!! The alpha isn't a bad person but he really does not have chemistry with our MC. Hope he grows one day! It's a short story so it's not too memorable but I enjoyed reading this setting. (Xu Jiale & Fu Xiaoyu) Definitely one of my favourite reads in 2023 because of the way it is written! Although the plot isn't exactly unique, the execution was good with our main cast having a lot of depth and conversations about love, family, pheromones, etc. This comes from the fact that the alpha (Xu Jiale) studied anthropology in a renowned university, whereas the omega (Fu Xiaoyu) is the type of person he hates the most. They're both involved in the development of a dating app because of their friends.... more>>

Fu Xiaoyu is a workaholic who is ambitious, micromanages his schedule, but still quite reasonable. Xu Jiale is definitely more lax and these two cannot work together without friction. But Xu Jiale always seems to comfort Fu Xiaoyu when he really needs it which leads Fu Xiaoyu to pursuing Xu Jiale. They are what they needs and the progress of their love is never boring. They discuss things and they are both adults who know what they want. I was initially not completely satisfied because the extras were not what I expected but I later got the pregnancy arc + Fu Xiayou's birthday! It was 21 extra chapters too so I love it so much!! I love Fu Xiaoyu.

Even when he's extremely jealous, he doesn't do anything. His thoughts sound bad but he reigns them in. He just wants comfort from his favourite person. ... more>>

MC and ML are meant for each other in the sense that they are absolutely obssessed with each other. It's sort of sweet in a way haha. I loved the scene where ML plays "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence" on the piano and the confession scene too. Btw, all the parents were awful in varying degrees and I wasn't satisfied with how author handled the characters outside of the CP. (Yu Fan & Chen Jingshen) I saw this everywhere on twitter at one point that I just read it so I understood what everyone was talking about. First of all, I think that you would definitely like the story more if you love "th**ny delinquents with a warm heart" but I'm just okay with them. The pacing wasn't too slow but I would prefer it to be slightly faster during school arc and more content for the adult arc. I loved how ML tends to get distracted midway his thoughts and how he likes to act pitiful which gave him a nice moe gap. ... more>>
