It is pretty good, I have a hard time getting myself immersed sometimes so the manhwa of this novel was a good starting point for me as it helped me get familiar w characters faster (not gonna lie, sometimes getting bombarded by multum of names gets me overwhelmed HAHA)... more>>

If I were to describe it in 1 sentence:  "It's a delicious slow-burn"

I binged around 500 chapters in 3-4 days (yes I did not sleep, yes I am a working day-time student, yes I am probably a masochist)

If you are looking for a novel with fast progress (meaning they fawk in like less than 10 chapters or even less) this novel is probably (definitely) not for you. BUT do not let the horknee in you miss out on this top tier novel filled with bromance, action and heart fluttering moments between our main characters that make you kick your legs on your bed. 

Although they do not immediately get down dirty, it is pretty clear from the get go that they are both into each other, we get some spicy flashbacks from their past life. 

Their first kiss is around chapter 200 (shh it's a slow burn babe, it's a good one trust me) and after that they kiss quite often hihi, they slowly knock down more bases before they get down dirty for the first time around chapter 459 (but before that they do get their own time several times for all you horknee people).

We got a suffering shou with trauma and emotional baggage, grief and whole shabang with psychopath gong.. not everyone will like it, but I personally love characters like that. The shou IS NOT naive (!!), meaning he is aware of everything, he can somewhat see the ML’s intentions, and he himself isn’t exactly the most honest person. 

I wouldn’t say that ML is a bad person with bad intentions. He has clear goals and he will do just about anything to make sure it goes the way he wants it to go, even if that means taking advantage of others or manipulating them. We have quite a few moments where ML clearly shows his possessiveness over MC but also his thoughts regarding the shou himself. We witness the development of their relationship (that imo progresses quite naturally, at least from what I remember, but it has been a while since I finished the series). Their start and middle weren’t exactly the healthiest, however despite his flaws ML’s goal was never to hurt MC.

Anyhow, it’s a pretty decent read. I like characters similar to the ML so it was pretty engaging for me, def biased

I’m still reading the serie, but I caught up to all the translated chapters and I feel like I’ve got enough grasp of the characters and the story to make a somehow readable review that might motivate someone to read the story.

The Premise:

MC transmigrates into a book (by mistake) and becomes a beautiful villain guide with tragic backstory about how he lost his guide powers and became a disabled person stuck in the wheelchair (however the MC has guide powers since he is technically a different person inside). 

The script mentioned in the title is the story, book, about events where his younger nephew is the MC. If the story won’t progress, the world will end hence his unbending will to follow through. 

OG Villain is obsessed and in love with his nephew and becomes an amazing obstacle between the leads in the script. (THEY AREN’T ACTUALLY RELATED BY BLOOD BTW)

The ML is the older brother of his younger nephew (so technically his older nephew kek, ALSO NOT RELATED BY BLOOD).

Actual review:

The story is hilarious, the comedy of MC and the administrator (that became his 8 year old super mature step son) trying to very clumsily follow the script and check all the checkmarks and progress the story so the world won’t end. The interactions between them is so endearing and I absolutely adore their father-son relationship.

The ML is a green flag gong, adores MC, their relationship went very fast from enemies to lovers. Rocky start to honeymoon phase in seconds (not literally, it still progresses naturally but it’s not stretched to make it more dramatic). 

Def can recommend this with no burden, it’s a cute story, no drama, funny misunderstandings and adorable characters! 

Synopsis:

I transmigrated into a novel and became a paralyzed, dark and twisted, yet stunningly beautiful like a celestial being. The key point is, I turned out to be a powerful and impotent guide. Originally, Male Lead 1 and Male Lead 2 were meant to be a couple. However, right at the beginning, ML 1’s brother, who was supposed to tragically die despite rescue attempts, inexplicably survived. His resurrection forced ML 2 to reluctantly marry him, causing the entire novel to collapse from the start.

Then the MC realized that the character he wore was the one who killed ML 1’s brother back then.

The brother was nothing like the gentle and loyal dog described in the book. Instead, he was a fierce and wild sentinel, biting anyone he could catch.

The ML (alpha) is a simp of the century, he loves the shou so much, literally fell so hard and he keeps falling in love harder and harder fr, like bro is obsessed.

The MC is a beta, he does not miraculously change into omega. He stays beta and that’s it (at least for now). 

The story is cute, has angsty moments and also the frustrating moments. We witness the crazy antics of the ML’s mom that is the main villain here (she likes MC for his character for a beta - as he is aware of his limitations and tries to cooperate with her, but she does not and probably will never consider him to be someone that will be worthy of her son. the dominant alpha. Imo she’s just a psycho fr unhinged hag).

It takes around 100 chapters until we get to the chasing part btw so beware of the long but sweet and sour journey ahead.

It’s a decent read, I enjoyed it and liked the premise enough to buy the raws lol 

I do feel bad for Yigyeol (the MC, shou), he is just a victim tbh. He is aware of his limitations and how he can’t actually give to ML anything that he might need that only omega can provide. He tries to get away from the ML before getting assassinated by the ML’s mom, but ML is persistent. The ML is quite frustrating too, it was frustrating to see how unaware he was of the dangers he was exposing Yigyeol to, despite loving him so much. 

Still, despite it I like them both and hopefully they will reunite soon<3

As for side characters, I absolutely adore them too. They all care for Yigyeol and help him with just about anything ahh, I love them.

In my heart, I wanted to throw a fist and kick him, but in reality, I couldn’t move at all and just swallowed the resentment, wondering if this punk was crazy.

Nevertheless, I wouldn’t accept the Alpha, who has a sweet voice as if he would seduce an Omega.

I’ve never made it, but I’ll break the mood in a second.

Main couple, they both fall in love with each other gradually. Their moments are sweet and heartwarming but their lack of communications...  but they know it lol they are aware that their communication is lacking but both of them hide things, especially mc.

Pretty good read, angsty but has heartwarming moments. I hope mc will find peace within himself and recovers safely, both physically and mentally. As well as reconciles with the OG bodies family and friends

Green flag asf, he never does anything sus or creepy towards MC, he is pretty sincere, even when MC goes into heat, he gets him away from people. gets him necessary help and does not take advantage of the MC.

Main couple has sweet moments, if it was just their life without the past life, I'd read it and love it. 

However taking into account their past life... I don't think I can truly be happy for MC. Shou only fell in love with ML because that is all he knows, if someone else appeared who would truly love him, show him affection, he'd def choose that person over ML. He craves love and affection with his messed up childhood and life in general. His past life was so tragic... Until one point in their past life I was ready to accept their love but I think everyone who read everything knows that the ML is truly a scum. Even worse than his brother, him treating his brother in their current life so harshly is quite hypocritical (but deserved), but imo what he did to MC was still worse than what his brother did. Author tried to make ML seem more redeemable in their past life by portraying him as someone who actually loved MC but be so fr rn, no one who truly loves their lover would NEVER do what he did to MC. 

Angsty story, mixed feelings

Finished binging the entire series. The leads are absolutely the cutest. They are both obsessed with each other (yes the ML as well). Imo this novel has a pretty good balance of action and day-to-day activities. The romance isn't lacking either, as the leads do not shy away from skinship. Novel worth recommending, don't judge the mc too early in the game and keep on going.  MC might seem selfish, and the read might be uncomfortable for some readers knowing the past life (with ML apparently being in love with another person and MC being the bane of their existence), but as the events unfold, we get an unbiased view of their past life and... more>> you realise not everything seemed as bad as the MC made it out to be. 

That aside, even without knowing details of their past life - MC does try to stay away, although it might seem like he has given that up, he does struggle with guilt, and I can't really hold that against him, because humans are selfish and that's normal. From our POV it might seem selfish, but If we were to stand in his place, I think a lot of people would have done the same. If the MC being the supposed "minor villain" in their past life is what makes you unsure of reading this series - imo don't drop it, because as I said MC's pov is not entirely unbiased and seems more negative than it actually is. 

At the very end we get few chapters from ML's pov in their past life and it shows his perspective, as well as his feelings towards MC that aren't negative at all;)
