The first time Xie Li met Yu Rui outside school, the clean boy in white shirt held hands several times and still smiled gently and comfortably. Xie Li thought he had met only a naive vase.

Welcome everyone!

I´m the translator of this novel, so I may be impartial when reviewing it so there we go...

This novel is mostly the bickering (one - sided though) between a student that seems good mannered and a lazy crazy shameless (and a little bit yandere) but intelligent thug.

They never said to each other any kind of love conffesion, "love you" or any kind of sugar coatted things. They desired and loved each other. It was like a matter of fact, there´s no need to say it, it´s enough that the other knows it. Also... we have cars! I found them!! kekekeke!

A novel with zero drama, shameless protagonists, bickering couple and comedy. In conclusion, a good read.

I seriously endured to read this until the very end but it's really so uncomfortable.

I don't know why people think this is cute or what. The ML is very toxic and is always putting the MC in uncomfortable situations even in public and even after MC's multiple attempts to tell him to stop. Then it'd be brushed off as him being sick in the head or something. I know they end up HE in the end but really? Love? Before the MC even treated ML as a friend, the ML... more>> was already perversely lusting after him, violating his personal space and ignoring his discomfort and rejection. There isn't even respect here. If it weren't for the plot halo, this type of character would've been classified as one of those sick, pe*verted cannon fodders that get punished in the end.

This isn't love. This is just some sick romanticization of twisted behavior. There isn't a single moment where there's fluff or healthy interaction. And there's really no redeeming it no matter how tragic or pitiful ML's back story is. It isn't even the kind of yandere story where there'd be glimpses of growth or development. Maybe if the MC was just as toxic, I'd feel that it's a good match, but even after more than 2/3 of the story along, the MC is still just uncomfortable with their interaction and it can't even be excused as tsundere behavior.

If that's your type of story the feel free to read this. But I feel compelled to rate this 1 star and leave this comment for similar minded people who might feel uncomfortable reading this. <<less

It's been a while since I've read this kind of novel.

I really didn't understand who is the ML and who is the MC. It's a little confusing. So I'm just gonna named Xie Li the ML and Yu Rui the MC.

Dirty looks. Dirty words. Especially when the recipient feels uncomfortable.

Is s*xual Harassment.

I must say, it's irritating. ML goes a little overboard. Since MC has never cared about falling in love before, and ML is a male.

... more>> We can tell ML loves him (with a great amount of lust), as even when he gets his chances to f*ck MC, he never does. Because he genuinely wants to spend his life with him.

So, if he only acted with lust and r*ped MC, I'd have hated him. But, instead, he restrained himself and respected MC (in his own twisted way).

So, I'll just say ML loves to show his genuine side to MC. A genuine side that comes off as creepy.

But, I like MC. And if MC likes him, it's ok. Because, other than his dirty looks and talks, he is extremely good to MC. <<less

It was good at first, I like yandere male leads. The tensions between the MC and ML are good..... but then I got bored. The ML became annoying in my eyes, and the MC is pitiful, ML always makes MC uncomfortable and put him in a helpless situation. The crazy thirsty ML salivating after our MC was thrilling and exciting, but as the time goes on, it just became annoying and boring. It seems like author is trying to drag this story out. Their interactions are repetitive. ML annoys MC... more>> - MC looks at ML coldly with his eyes - ML gets h**ny - the end.

Of course everyone have different opinions and level of enjoyment so just try and read it if you like yandere MLs <<less

ngl I love this sm, I was looking for something new, modern era, where the ML is kinda flirty yet scary (?) while the MC is quiet. Basically like the MC and ML in case file compendium and this was spot on, The story is slow burn-ish and at the end of evry chapter ismakes your heart flutter

It's been a long time for me to read such satisfying story. The awkward MC, pe*vert ml, cute sister and clueless classmates just mixes good, I Was looking for dark ML and got this wonderful story.

There maybe some flaws in their personalities but it's just enough to give butterflies for me, overall I'm happy that I found this novel

This story was definitely entertaining.... but really uncomfortable for like 50 chapters. The majority of the story is just the ML being creepy and talking about f***ing the MC. Then you start seeing the ML’s heartfelt feelings and softness towards him and it’s kinda cute, but still feels weird. The ending was a bunch of time skips and it felt sudden and unemotional. We never really got to see the MC express his feelings properly, ... more>>

The ML went away for two years and they just f***ed when they saw each other for the first time, I kind of expected some sort of description of feelings and not just lust.

But I still binged read this story in 2 days and recommend you to read a few chapters, and if you find it weird just know it gets worse.

It just doesn’t have a great romantic feel and the ending wasn’t paced well. I think I would of wrote a better review if I never finished it. <<less

Dropping this at Chapter 31. I just can’t take it anymore. I really wanted to gave it a chance even though yandere tag is something I don’t enjoy that much. There are just some novels with yandere characters but I still enjoy the story. With this one, I really can’t stand XL.

He is just a straightforward pe*vert from my point of view, with no respect to the MC whatsoever. He can’t even make an attempt to actually act normal. I don’t understand how it is romantic when all he does is salivate and fantasize about f*cking YR at just about every minute of every day. OH but that’s because he is a yandere! That makes so much sense, I’m such an idiot for actually expecting normal human behavior. I apologize for the bad review, but yeah.

Such dedication... sorry I'm too exited alright let's back to our review, this novel is kind of fast pace, they solve all their problem, all of flavor is form our CP, in my opinion there is no drama that can get u into tears.. still they had their own conflict, I know I biased towards some chpter lmao... ok.. let's back to serious review, let me tell you cus there is no intensive conflict drama that can bleed you I think this novel comforting, although our MC and ML background kind of sad and complicated if author want to torture us they really have the seed but they choose no.. and I'm happy 'bout it and bcs of that it will make u feel a bit bland, and if u don't comfortable with something pe*vert action such possesiveness, touching without permission, stalking (?), manipulation (?) better to think twice I personally like it so I'm fine with it and they are the spice I talk about <<less

The ML is very sick in the head and pe*verted!

I know that the ML is the ML but there were times I couldn’t help but say ‘MC... run” lol

Anywayyy, the MC isn’t easy to bully as well so the ML really never crossed the line

... more>> Overall, this is a nice read, exciting and I couldn’t stop reading when I started. Just that the ending, especially chapter 60 onwards feel so so fast.

Everything happened suddenly like whaaaat and there was a time skip and everything so yeah, I wasn’t just that satisfied with the ending but still good read! <<less

That was a pretty good novel. Lots a tension between both characters. Unfortunate that ending felt very abrupt, although it was a HE.

Concerning ML, I thought that the writer's description of ML was weirder, trying to make him seem like a perv, but it felt overdone. But really his actions never broke MC's boundaries (even waiting for 2 years). And as a previous commenter had said, MC could have rejected ML if he wanted to (cold personality to everyone but ML) so.....

Currently reading and on chapter 16 and debating on between a score of 4 or 5. Chose 4 in the end and will update when I'm done the novel.

So far, I really like it. Both MCs (since we get both POVs) have more to them than meets the eye. Yu Rui is gentlemanly and always has a mild demeanor to everyone, but secretly hides a cold personality that only cares about his sister. For some reason Xie Li riles him up every time they interact. Xie Li, on the other... more>> hand, has an almost predatory interest in Yu Rui. Aside from interactions with Yu Rui, he's pretty much napping with a lazy indifference.

I know there's a lot of comments about Xie Li pretty much sexually harassing Yu Rui, but I beg to differ and that's why I made a review so early in the novel. Mind, my thoughts might change in later chapters but right now at chapter 16 there's definitely interest on both sides. For XL, it's lust at first sight... First sight being over a year ago and XL actually still remembers YR since then. He's actively pursuing, get's YR's number and waits in front of his home, etc. Now here's why I think the interest is mutual, YR is very intelligent and nonplussed and not easily bullied. He stands up to thugs from loansharks with a smile on his face. A kid like that has no reason not to easily find a way to decline and politely tell someone to f* off if he wants to. Instead, so far YR has willingly given his number to XL, answered his messages, invited the guy to his home to cook him lunch, introduced his precious little sister to him and trusted XL to look after his sister while he runs off to do stuff and quite nonchalantly shown XL his home situation with loansharks and drunken father etc. Remember, YR acts all gentlemanly because that's the image he projects and he's dropped all that in front of XL and they've only had a handful of interactions. Also in the current chapter I'm in, YR is helping XL sneak into class without prompting and XL is someone who doesn't care about attendance etc. YR himself seems to also be hyper aware of XL and his actions isn't exactly telling XL he's not welcome to continue. Of course, my thoughts on this might change depending on what I read in future chapters but right now, I'm enjoying their weird flirting styles.

I took off that one star because I don't understand how a 16 year old boy can intimidate or overpower a gang of thugs. Or how someone can score top number 1 without attending school or doing homework. XL's excuse is that he's done everything already but I've done high school too and I wouldn't be able to answer any textbook questions without reading and studying it to refresh myself. <<less
