this novel has quickly got into my top favs as I am reading this. I haven't enjoyed a novel this much since orv, lotm, tcf, and some more. this should tell you how good this novel is. the mc is very op, but i didn't mind it and it just added to my enjoyment. i loved the team growth and development with the subtle development of the romance on the side. at first, i thought the romance would bother me, but in the end, im waiting for it to appear more. the battles and fights are so f*cking good and it's so hype that it always keeps me at the edge of my seat. i love and love the whole ensemble of characters of their competitive teams and how most of the cast have good friendship and brotherhood. there's not a lot of drama or cannon fodder-y fights with other teams other than in the start. this also made me enjoy the novel a lot (was a breath of fresh air) [04/16/24] <<less

It's been so long since I read this, so I kinda forgot most of the plotpoints and the relationship between the main leads. But, something I remember are that the mc being a "vampire" is kind of like a thing to drive the relationship forward, so don't expect in-dept explanation or any arcs that will revolve around that. Another thing i rmbr is that the mc does accept the yandere characteristics of the ml towards the end, so like for me if the main person in the relationship does not have any problem then what say do i have¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This dynamic was more of a just-became-adult x 5-years-older-ml. It threw me off a little bit because in novels, generally, it always feels like they wait for the mc to get of age and then start a relationship... which makes me unconfortable, but here it was ok ig since both of them were mentally the same age and were both emotionally aware of everything. 

The smex scenes were well written because your girl was able to read it... I hate reading smut scenes cause I can't deal with the second hand embarrassment, bless me cause not everybody can read those. But, here, I really liked it and was able to read it without skipping things...  <<less

the premise of the novel was something i really enjoyed^^ yeah im not going to be somebody whos gonna stay between people i thought will kill me. so, at that thought, im totally glad that mc wasn't a half-brain person and immediately escaped, like thank god. and most of the novel is about him repairing his broken relationship with his brothers as he progresses with his mission. as a person who loves the trope of "not easily forgiving and holds grudges, slowly heals through redemption from the opposite characters" like even if mc wasn't totally in-tune with the "original mc's" feelings, it still was worth it for me.

the story's really good, loved the dynamic of both leads. when mc acted as the emperor of his country and ml had to go back and come, those chapters was a little angst and bitter, but I liked it;)

I didn't really fck with the extras where mc came back and forgot his memories and then ml also got reborn (?) as a student.. it was good, but it could've done without it. well, I never read the extras or the chapters that has this scenario when rereading cause it kinda spoiled my immersion lol.

very cute and fluffy, but at the same time heartwrenching at times because you just wish you could cuddle the ml and give him the biggest hug you could ever muster:( sheng yuan is also one the best mcs I've read and his counters and humor is top tier!!! love me some good shameless and bickering guy^^

this definitely does have yandere and extreme possessiveness and the ml acknowledges it, at times I felt a little stifled with it, but it was not that much because the mc knows about it and acknowledges it. and at the same time, his own background and abandonment issues was the main cause of that possessiveness. so, i understood and it didn't bother me.

the relationship is very cute overall and just a bunch of fresh air blown towards you.

the ml feels like a baby (aww) that just saw the world after meeting sheng yuan, and I'm glad he was able to also get treatment for his mental illness at the end. some of the episodes with sheng yuan or other people when his illness shown and how ml reacted to that was heartwrenching to say the least. 

all characters were memorable and I've loved all their friends and teachers!!!!

i loved and loved the family!!!! one of the best portrayals of familial relationships and how a broken relationship is slowly healed over time. how each character reached out to communicate in their own way was refreshing to see. i also loved the mother, she was the best character for me^^ like how she immediately noticed something was wrong with mc and slowly looked after him by contacting doctors and in her own way was very nice. 

i am glad the novel really focuses on the psychological effects a reborn person with a tragic past might go through. in most reborn novels where the mc died tragically or had a bad first life usually just remember the events and their mental aspects are never portrayed, so it was quite good to see it being prioritize here. 

the romance was subtle in the first part and it only comes up a lot towards the end. but, it felt like the sweetness coming through after you bite into a hard candy. the ml was good, his personality was also great, gentle and calm like. he was like the perfect person for mc's chaotic mental state as he could calm his down.

overall, I really liked it. the revenge and business aspect was very well-written though i didn't really understand a lot of those business/finance things... loved how even though we knew the main antagonist already, the motivations and the conspiracy that was revealed slowly throughout that process made it more compelling and a great novel.  i would still read this if there was no romance cause its good without romance as well.

seriously, i don't think i can survive in an environment like that of the novel, cause i would be snuffed quickly because i have two braincells and its used to read novels... <<less

ok, first and foremost, i loved the leads! mc and ml was equally funny and their bickering relationship was a delight (ps i love those kinds the most). this is more of a comedy romance/harem-like then a serious plot. the plot was great at the beginning and the whole goodwill part was a great addition to the humor. 

though it isn't explicitly mentioned, what the mc's basically doing throughout the story is trying to "cheat" behind the back of the souls to clear the worlds... for me, as I kept reading, i couldn't visualize all the souls as one person and my mind kept separating them into different individuals thus making it out to be somewhat like constant cheating on the mc's side which annoyed him and me. the plot also became really repretitive as all the worlds was the ml's and everything was yandere/cheating clearance tasks, so at one point, i lost interest. at least in the beginning, the mc was able to go into other world while still clearing ml's, but that soon came to an end. most of the friends the mc made in the beginning also don't appear a lot as we progress which i felt like a waste as their personalities and their interactions with mc was really good. 

the romance itself was great, but i just wished the author stopped with the constant yandere tasks and cheating-like tasks and also put in other worlds with variety of diff mystery-solving. i did like the role-playing, just wish it was more explored. 

the main turn-offs for me was the repetitiveness and the two-timing in all the worlds...

still, on the same note, this is more of a romance-centric game survival novel, so people who like those would probably love this. there's also a lot of harem-like developments in every world mc enters and they are all ml's souls... so if that turns on a light in your mind, go check it out!

see, overally a good novel that has it's own strengths, but for me who doesn't like yandere/harem, this didn't really do its thing for me but i would still recommend it as the romance was great and the solving part was also pretty good:)

i really liked the personailty of mc and ml and both of them's relationship before and after was also good. personally i felt like there were some inconsitencies on how he quickly accepted the original mc's family and already accustomed to the world and acting as the person even though he just transmigrated. this would've been believable if he was reborn as a baby, but no he transmigrated and so it was a little hard to understand his whole thought process in acceptance and so on. but still, the family relationships was really good^^ ... more>>
