Pure fluffy sweet romance... The rebirth, finding themselves in the past when all of the problem started, friendships, family, misunderstanding & lastly their love of studying (?) (≧▽≦) - was too cute & hilarious.

There are so many scenes where MC, ML & side characters antics made me laugh. I absolutely respect ML for being so brazen & show off his love. MC was as devoted & cunning which made story lively & cute.

I'm still waiting for author to wake up & let side couple ships sail... Author you only didn't... more>> play with Ah Yao, you played with my mind too (╥﹏╥) <<less

Quite a fun read. The characters have nice goals, but I feel like the author randomly dumped bad futures upon, like, eery character. The top of the class didn't act like smart people, and the bottom of the class were... well, all side characters had negative IQ. The story overuses ohmygodimsosurprisedbytheharmony, and it gets kind of flat at some point, but, overall, it's nice. I like the harmony between MC and ML.

As a summary, one can alternatively title this Reborn to High School with Old Nemesis and Now Husband, Now We Have Lots of Kids.

MC and ML used to be bitter enemies for years-- over a decade later, they managed to finally see face to face and get together, and are now on their way to another country to get married.

Then they somehow returned to the day that started it all: the time MC was supposed to give a speech in front of the student body as their high-achieving representative. That... more>> lifetime, ML started trouble, and the entire thing devolved into a fight that lost MC his guaranteed spot at a prestigious university and derailed both their lives, and their families'. This time, though, ML holds a speaker in his hand and--

"Lin Qian is the most handsome man in our school!"

They had years to reexamine their old wounds, and these days no longer controlled them.

But really, this novel is about two 30 years olds beating a choice selection of school dregs and becoming their Dads, dragging two of the worst 12th grade classrooms into being hardworking, studious students. The "dad" bit? Nah, they didn't give up when MC demanded they call him Dage as an apology, so naturally to let them go they have to call him Father.

The MC and ML of this story is incredibly refreshing. They're very hardworking, and especially even more when they also ended up helping so many people with their studies, which also helped with otherwise messy home lives. Initially the two sides of their friend groups thought the other was blackmailing their leader in some way, but after some time began to actually be friends with each other. MC and ML also get to realize that their blood feud wasn't purely just them clashing at first meeting-- and get to set things right, too. The maturity and new perspectives they gained over the years are precisely what allowed them to see such a different side of the story-- it's absolutely lovely.

But this novel is also really just.... it's hilarious. There's a lot of misunderstandings between the couple and everyone else, in different ways, some set-up by the couple and some not. Sometimes they would do couple things and wave it off as something else. Once found out, though, they just flatfacedly come out and PDA these people's eyes off-- truly psychological warfare at its most sophisticated. MC and ML know that they want to be together from the very start this time. They will do anything for it.

It's a good novel, without too much irrelevant high school dramas or out of place fillers. I'm very happy to give it a 5/5. <<less

This is a heartwarming story about two MCs working to absolve their previous lives' regrets. Unlike most novels where the transmigrated characters' mental ages regress to match the age of their bodies, they retain their maturity throughout the novel. Nonetheless, they aren't gifted with any super powers or cheats and have to work within their means to achieve their own goals.

The relationship between the two MCs loving and adorable. Both of them maintain their individuality and the author does a good job of making them into well-rounded characters. At the... more>> same time, it's hilarious to see their antics. While they don't explicitly announce their relationship, they aren't exactly clandestine. This separates their friends and families into the people who misunderstand and the people who wish they misunderstood.

Poor Xu Yao, Guo XinDao, Ke MuZi and Chen ShiYi, hahaha. Blinded by their overt displays of affection.

One of the things that this novel does really well is portraying a different side of divorce. Most of the time, when divorce is mentioned, both parties are pitted against each other as enemies. This is not the case in this novel. Zheng PingQing's mother and father realize that they weren't well suited for each other parted amicably. At the same time, they still respect each other in spite of their differences.

My favorite character in this novel is Lin Qian's older sister. She's strong-willed, independent, and can solve their own problems without anyone's help.

Like when she solves the problem of her cheating ex-boyfriend by beating him up and framing the mistress' older brother, hahaha.

it was lighthearted and beautiful story. There was no angst and all. They went back and fixed their regrets. I liked their friendship and their courage to confess this is my first time reading a story like this without fantasy, big villains and all that thing. It was refreshing but I would be more happy if it was a little longer or just few extra chapters about what happend to them and their friends after graduation

I don't mind that the two are together from the start, I think it's a nice change, I just can't stand the constant misunderstandings. Instead of an idiot MC or ML, all of their friends have a negative IQ instead (it does succeed in making the MC and ML seem super smart in comparison). I don't find it funny, I find it annoying. Others are saying the misunderstandings get better later on but right now they're so frustrating I'm giving myself a headache trying not to grind my teeth. So,... more>> time to stop for a while and come back later. Maybe. <<less

Incredibly hilarious. There are a lot of really funny moments where I couldn't stop laughing, and my parents would give me strange looks when I go out of my room. I absolutely love that Lin Qian and Zheng PingQing's relationship is equal, without that overbearing gong + cute, submissive shou trope that is so prevalent in other BL novels. It makes their relationship feel grounded and "real".

This killed me literally...

I laughed so hard... that I got cursed at by my grandma because it was in the middle of the night...

It's really funny... it wasn't revenge per say... even the did have their revenge however..

They didn't know who actually messed up their lives until after revenge...

Their coming out... is always mind blowing

Its like they are saying, " I'm telling you just for the sake of saying"... "it's not about whether you accept or not, you need to accept it"

Temporary rating: 4/5 - really enjoyable.

You know how you get those rebirth stories where people go back and are determined to change everything that went wrong in their past, if people treated them badly they'll be just as bad or worse, they'll accumulate power and influence and their wrath shall rain down upon their enemies?

This is not one of those stories!!

Instead, you get two once-hot-headed youths who return to their high school times after years as an adult. Their characters have matured, tempered by life experience, and they have reached... more>> a stage in their relationship far removed from the bitter enmity of the past. So, when thrown back to those foolish and torrid times, we instead get to see a delightfully secure and supportive couple who have no interest in dealing with problems emotionally and childishly.

It's so satisfying to see a story like this that's not about s*upid love rivals and misunderstandings, nor is it about overdramatic plots and revenge plots. This couple faces the challenges of their past clear-headedly and it's so enjoyable to see everything get turned on its head by their confident, experienced and sensible approaches to things. It's not a deep story, but it has enough realistic problems to save it from being too shallow.

It's a sweet, calming, sensible, satisfying read so far and I'd recommend it, especially if you're looking for rebirth and BL that's a breath of fresh air from the normal tropes.

EDIT: I just noticed the other reviews about the annoying misunderstandings at the start, and they're fair comments. I really dislike those s*upid stories where everybody chooses to interpret the MC's behaviour as they wish. Like, REALLY dislike (I've even dropped stories for this, such as "Love Stops Rumours"). So, I also didn't enjoy that aspect at the beginning.

If you're struggling with that, it actually gets better much more quickly than I'd feared. While some misconceptions still linger for a while, they quickly become unimportant background as the main couple's reasonable behaviour starts to spread. This is just my opinion, of course, but I think it's worth sticking with for at least 20 chapters before you decide. <<less

I'm in love.

Already from the get go, I'm slamming my face onto my desk repeatedly--but in a good way!
Sweet, everything is too sweet I'm dying. Not only that, it's also funny; I love the peanut gallery.

Definitely recommend if you want a fluffy, heartwarming story and need something to make you smile.

I really like the beginning of this novel. There's a bunch of misunderstandings but they aren't between the MC and the ML, instead the subordinates of the two are confused. It's so funny but as it goes along I feel like it's getting kind of repetitive.

3, 5/5 (at least for now)

I won't make it too long, since it is still ongoing (and thus subject to change), but honestly, I enjoy this novel.

Unlike some others here, I find it refreshing that both are already in a relationship at the beginning of the novel. I usually read stories where this isn't the case, and I think that it is still very well handled here. There is still some kind of suspense because, at least at first, nobody knows of their sexual orientation and because they don't... more>> really have much of a physical relationship yet

... which, to be fair, is slightly weird. :D Why isn't it acceptable for two 17-year olds (who are both techniclally adults) to do the deed? I don't quite get this line of argumentation, but I will just turn a blind eye to it

Oh, and I don't mind the misunderstandings and the negative IQ classmates that much either. Granted, they are s*upid, brainelss even. Their behaviors are heavily exaggerated, and probably no normal human would react that way.

for example, the followers of the MC (which are all supposedly part of the "smart kids") are all kinda willing to throw their lives away for him... by getting into fights and causing all kinds of other trouble. At least, that was true in their past lives, but they would act the same way after the MC's & ML's rebirth. Lucky for them, MC and ML are both written to act like adults (more or less) and try to improve their lives (and not screw them up like in their past).

However, some of the misunderstandings do really make sense to me, at least more or less, since homosexuality shouldn't be so widespread among highschoolers during their second lives yet. Weren't they reborn at least 10-15 years earlier? The classmates do not seem to even think of that possibility. Given that premise and the slight penchant of some highschool boys for bromance, I don't find it that unbelievable that they wouldn't automatically deduce their sexualities.

But overall, it is still fun and made me smirk most of the times. I am enjoying reading it and am mostly entertained. With a dose of suspension of disbelief the story is still a good read ! <<less

what a good read!

some might be turn off since the main characters are already together right from the start but let me tell you, give this one a chance!

the characters are funny and quirky on their own. The misunderstandings surrounding the couple is too entertaining to pass by.

They should add "misunderstanding" tag on this UN page xD.

I can't help but laugh the misunderstanding between the couple and their friends/relatives. Well not just them either. In fact, those who knew the couples past feud have a hard time accepting due to 180 degree sudden change. It's almost funny the whole time something that should happen didn't happen they would make up hilarious conclusion out of no where xD.

Even funnier the couple have to deal with them also showing obvious dog food only to have another misunderstanding xD. Man... more>> for once this kind of misunderstanding is fun. <<less

I've been stacking up chapters until the day where this novel is complete and I dont really read something if It's not yet finished and I actually only read this bec I thought it was completed.

This novel is a gem!! Both MC and ML are matured and faces everything head on. The interactions are funny and even the antagonists makes you laugh. The novel is too sweet and aside from romance, the friendship tag is also strong.

This is my first Modern BL novel where I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied.... more>> It's like a cleansing for the soul. I love it very much. <<less

Ah, I can't breathe ah, these fools are too much *wheezes*

They're so deep in the play that they can't see the truth behind the two leading actors (ᗒᗜᗕ) ՛̵̖

Also, I want Shao Shijia to be my best friend.

... more>> The story is fluffy and karma gets back at everyone who deserves it.

There's not much angst and the MC and ML's respective family members are quite different from the initial impression.

Highly recommend this but be careful because you might bust a lung.

Ai, my new favorite thing now is to put a chicken's ass into someone's bowl.

finish reading the main chapters! I like the dynamic between the cp, they're equal to each other and so considerate, it's a healthy relationship! I'm glad that they're able to repair their relationship between their family after reborn. It's a good story with less drama and really funny too, I enjoyed reading it.

also the translation is good, never expected less from cg translation!

I'm going to wait for the extras to finish and reading it in one go~~

lots of fluff and humor.

the couple were both reborn back to their high school days, where they were archenemies and they fought a lot. The sudden change of their attitude caused lots of misunderstanding about their relationship (their friends keep insisting that what they were doing were perfectly normal for friends).

this is very funny and cute, 10/10 would recommend for those who want a book without angst, and just want to drown themselves in dog food.

I love this story so much, its pure fluff coupled with resolving past regrets through right all the wrongs. This is heavily helped with the MC and ML's relationship being very strong and sweet right from the start, so all the angst is in the past and can (and is) thought back in fondly. The story is really MC and ML going back in time and helping everyone (except the obvious villains) have a better ending and life.
