This list has both BL and BG novels. 

Beware that not all novels have the satisfying groveling scenes from ML. 

I included some BE novels where I felt that the decisions MC took was very fitting even if there is no groveling from the ML or if the MC is dead to see that part. 

You’ll find most of Shui Qian Cheng’s novels who is well known for her 188cm group of novels featuring angsty novels about scum going groveling for their mistakes.

I only included the novels I was satisfied with.

Caution: Enjoy these novels, but avoid romanticizing the ML or fantasizing them as great lovers. Most of the MLs are just awful people, except for my beloved Lan Zhan, who is the epitome of kindness, Justice & all the good things. Remember, in real life, those who treat others poorly are likely to treat you the same way or mistreat you repeatedly will continue to mistreat you. Those who are controlling, manipulative, and obsessive never end with happy endings. Change in adults is difficult, even with love. Look into real-life cases of abusive partners to get a reality check.
