2 - Qi Shu is reborn. She died in prison, setup by her "sister" and died there on her instigation. As a ghost she sees what happens after she dies and is then sent to several different worlds and returns to age 18 and plans to pay back the people who were responsible for her death and treated her badly.

One after the other these people are all reborn as well.

Qi Shu was deliberately switched at birth by a woman who wanted to give her own child a rich life. The woman abused her severely and she has scars all over her body. When she was about 10 her parents found out about the switch and took her back. However they didn't press charges and treated her very indifferently. They and her brother favoured the fake daughter they raised. They always believed the fake daughter and did nothing to help her when she was in trouble (for example accused of cheating at school, accused of stealing designs, sent to prison).

Her sister Qi Yuanyuan had all kinds of accomplices who slowly turned MC's life into a nightmare. During the course of the novel most of them pass by and have a bad ending. Not by MC doing it herself, but by her instigating it.

First MC's father is reborn. He remember having had a stroke and Yuanyuan neglected him and he helplessly starved of hunger in his bed. He tries to get a connection with MC and starts treating Yuanyuan badly, but MC wants nothing to do with him anymore.

Then her mother is reborn. The same counts for her. She is even harsher and evicts Yuanyuan from their house. She died in the hospital while being mocked by Yuanyuan and her real mother and died in their hands.

Her classmate Qiu Yunhan who liked Yuanyuan told the teachers that a cheating note written in her handwriting was made by Qi Shu. He was reborn a little later and remembered having committed su*cide because of Yuanyuan. MC anonymously tips him to steal Yuanyuan's admissions exam notice so she can't participate in the exams. Yuanyuan does the same to him. They both can't participate in the exams, but MC's brother helps Yuanyuan get into university anyway. Qiu Yunhan's life is destroyed.

MC reads a letter her maternal grandfather left to her. This letter went missing in her previous life (was stolen by fake sister). In it he tells her he leaves her a home in the capital. Her sister got this home in her previous life.

MC goes to the capital and meets Zhuo Shu, whom she has also met in her home time. They get along very well. Her grandfather, who was a friend of MC's grandfather asked her brother to bring Qi Shu to him. Zhuo Shu's boyfriend is Qi Jian, MC's brother. He brings Yuanyuan to the capital with the intention of letting the fake pretend to be the real Qi family daugther. She immediately sees through the ruse and breaks up with him.

In the capital she meets Zhuo Jin and his grandfather who promises to help her. She finds out her grandfather, the only one who really cared for her, was probably killed by her father. Her father, who was poor at the time, convinced her mother to marry him and became rich because of this marriage.

From then on it starts to read like a suspense / detective novel. She and Zhuo Jin try to find out the truth about her grandfather's death.

Zhuo Shu is reborn. She was killed by Yuanyuan and the actor Zhong Yang because she stood in her way. She tells Zhuo Jin about being reborn. They both guess that Qi Shu is reborn as well.

Qi Shu once saved Li Jingyao. He thought that Yuanyuan saved him and had Qi Shu's leg broken in her previous life which made her limp. He later finds out that Qi Shu was the one who really saved him and a little later he is killed by Yuanyuan's real father. He is also reborn. Qi Shu finds a job during the summer at his company to find out things about his company and later punish him. He has a large real estate business Zhuo Jin wants to take over and also has illegal businesses like dog fighting. He is a senior and "friend" / mentor of Qi Jian. He has helped Qi Jian a lot in settimg up his business.

He decides to kidnap Yuanyuan and brings her to his dog fighting place and harms her. Her face and body gets scarred quite badly.

Zhong Yang is reborn. He was attacked on the internet and was comforted by Qi Shu. Because of her he could go through a difficult period. Yuanyuan found the messages they sent and let him believe she was the one who messaged him. Because of that he helps Yuanyuan accuse Qi Shu of stealing designs and blackens her through the internet. After she dies he finds out through his agent that Qi Shu was the one who really helped him. He regrets what he did. He also dies because lf Yuanyuan. He finds Yuanyuan on the road after she has been tortured at Li Jingyao's place and thinks she is Qi Shu because of what she says. He brings her to the hospital. He later finds out she is Yuanyuan and plans revenge.

Zhuo Shu has her friend Qin'er kidnap Yuanyuan and lets her drink boiling water. Her vocal cords are destroyed because of that. Qi Juan finds her again and brings her into his house to take care of her. Zhong Yan whose reputation has been destroyed by Zhuo Jin now moves in with them pretending to love Yuanyuan. Zhuo Shu arranges for a quack doctor to take care of Yuanyuan, so her condition worsens.

Qi Juan is also reborn and remembers having been killed by Yuanyuan because he heard her and her fiancee (former MC's fiancee) talk about setting Qi Shu up and putting her in prison. He throws her (and her mother who is now takong care of her) out of his house.

They move in with Zhong Yan. Zhong Yan continues to deliberately give medicine to worsen her condition. He throws her mother out.

Li Jingyao's company gets into trouble when one of their buildings collapses causing many wounded. He lets Qi Juan take the blame (he has things set up in his company against him to convince him to do this). Then 5 bodies are found underneath another building of his company.

These bodies belong to people who are partially responsible for Zhuo Jin's, Zhuo Shu's and Qin Yang's (=Qin 'er) parents. Qin Yang has been killing the people responsible for that. When Zhuo Jin finds out, he decides to hide it and not report it after his brother's begging.

Qi Shu sends her father a fake video of him visiting her grandfather in hospital when he died and makes him believe it is sent by her adoptive mother. Her father finally kills her.

When her father finds out Qi Jian is taking the blame for the 5 dead people and might be executed, he gets a stroke. He can't work again. His company which is in trouble because of Zhuo Jin gets taken over by Zhuo Jin.

Qi Jian fakes a su*cide to get out of prison and rams his car against Li Jingyao's car.

People who feel threatened by Qin Yang try to kill him. Zhuo Shu gets wounded during an attack on him. He decides to commit su*cide.

Yuanyuan dies in the hospital.

Zhuo Jin and Qi Shi find out they met when they were young. MC comforted him at one time after the death lf his parents and ML brought MC to the hospital when she fell unconscious outside (while parents not caring about her). They get married after she graduates from university. Her company has become quite huge by this time.

In retrospect I can't say I like the novel very much. It started by somewhat resembling After Rebirth, the Scum All Cry for Forgiveness but then goes a completely different way. In that novel family shows some sincere regret and they are not really bad, though they are never forgiven by MC.

In this novel the family were kind of scum. I didn't get a full reading on mother, but father and brother were. They never mourned her even after she died. They never cared for her during the years she lived with them and severely neglected her. They only regretted treating the fake daughter well after she had harmed and killed them.

It reads kind of like a suspense novel. At different times it shortly mentions several lives of MC during her world hopping time. Each time she ended up with ML, comforting him. A few times this was as a pet (cat, wolf, white fox).

A little school life at the start, but most of it is MC or others getting revenge.

At the start MC's parents try to get her forgiveness, but harrass her every day at the hotel she moved into while she is studying for the university exams. Don't they think this might distract her and badly influence her grades? (She becomes the best in her province).

I don't know what happened to Zhong Yang and MC's fiancee / boyfriend from her previous life.

The Bigshot Shocks The World When She Backs Home

Yao Tang, the daughter of the Yao family who mistakenly exchanged at birth, was finally found.

Unexpectedly, since her parents felt that she was embarrassing, they never recognized her as their own, and claimed that she was a relative's child who came to live with them. Everyone thought that Yao Tang was just a bloodsucker who was greedy for glory and clung to her "relative's" family.

2 - Jiang Xin has transmigrated into ancient times into the body of a girl raised in a peasant family in a small village. The original body was engaged 3 times and 3 times her fiancee's found another woman and broke off their engagement. She tried to commit suicied 3 times and the beam she hung herself on in 3 different houses all broke. During her final attempt she died and her body was possessed by MC.

MC lived has an extreme amount of luck and is extremely favoured by the gods. When her family kept trying to take advantage of her she pretended to be mentally ill and was sent to a mental hospital. Though she is somewhat coocoo as well. She quickly became the leader of the hospital. Everyone including the director was afraid of her and listened to her. Whatever she says will come true and people who try to act against her have a bad ending.

At first sight it seemed that Jiang Xi was treated well by her family, but soon we notice that her mother favoured her son Jiang Si in everything. She also helps her maternal family a lot. Jiang Si is a scholar and everything in their family has to make way to let him learn and pay for his expenses. The money she has been paid after her fiancees broke off their engagements has been spent on getting her eldest brother a wife and Jiang Si.

Her eldest brother's wife hasn't been able to conceive and he is spending a lot of money on medicine to change that. She is pretty timid and treats MC well. Her youngest brother Jiang Shan supports MC unconditionally in everything.

Jiang Si meets Zhao Ruifeng, a general who is the opposite of her. He has extremely bad luck. 7 of his fiancees have died after their engagement was announced. The emperor won't even let him enter the room he is in in the palace. They have to talk from 2 different rooms. Zhao Ruifeng's mother died young because of a woman his father raised outside. The woman came to their house and his mother couldn't take it and died. ML was sent away by his father because he wouldn't accept his father marrying this woman. His father is a real womanizer and now has about 26 (?) woman. The eldest daugter of his new stepmother has been brought up learning the ways of the palace and she is expected to marry the crown prince.

She meets Jiang Xi and decides to convince the crown prince to let her marry Zhao Ruifeng. Jiang Xi keeps the stuff she gets from the emperor and her fiancee and won't let her family take any of it anymore. She gets a huge pig from the mountains to guard her and her things. Jiang Xi is made village head on her demand. When a disastral winter arrives she is prepared for it. 

Her future sister-in-law Zhao Yingying (only full sister of ML)has had a dream about her precious life where MC died. In that life her brother died a few years later, Jiang Si blackmailed MC's ex-fiancees and became the number 1 scholar in their province. Zhao Yingying was forced to marry Jiang Si and had a miserable life. She first had been treated badly by her stepmother and then by her husband and mother-in-law. In the end Jiang Si burned her to death while she was pregnant. She warned Jiang Xi about a disastral winter coming, so Jiang Xi is prepared. She forbid the villagers to sell their food and put a stone at the entrance of their village which will make women pregnant. Because of this a lkt of women including her eldest sister-in-law became pregnant. Even the robbers who came to their town became pregnant. She also took the robbers and homeless people in and their town was the only one that grew in size while they were cut off from the rest of the world. 

Jiang Xi goes to the capital with her fiancee to get married. The empress doesn't like her. She knows that the crown prince played with her when she was little and liked her. They mad her believe that ML's halfsister was the one he played with when he was young. 

On the day she gets married ML's halfsister also got married with the emperor (she seduced him instead of the crown prince). There are signs that the world is celebrating (animals letting themselves die in front of their home to offer food, etc. Everyone believes that this is because of the halfsister until proven otherwise. Birds start to poop on her etc when she wants to leave the home before MC arrives. 

The empress is very angry when she marries the emperor. She switched her baby when it was born because her baby was a girl. Everyone expected her to have a boy because the signs said the baby would bring extreme luck to their country. She thought halfsister was her child and wanter her to marry the crown prince to continue the bloodline. She thinks the emperor is comitting a great sin. Signs start to appear that their country is losing their prosperity. 

They send ML to guard the border though he has only been married a few days.

Halfsister gets pregnant with a twin. 

The crown prince finds out MC was his childhood friend and and wants her to divorce and marry him. She refuses. When children start to die and it seems that someone is making sacrifices to increase their luck, MC is accused and imprisoned along with the rest of the Zhao family. 

Several inmates from the mental hospital in her previous life has also transmigrated along with MC. 2 of them (one is the emperor's concubine), decide to punish the crown prince in revenge. When the crown prince doesn't wake up frommhis dreams of being with MC and his body is deteriorating, the empress gives her blood causing him to die right after because their blood types don't match. Because of this the emperor finds out this is not his son. The empress tells him she switched her child, making the emperor believe he has children with his own daughter. He is devastated and doesn't knkw what to do.

ML's halfsister gives birth to children who are deformed. She decides to execute MC and the Zhao family. During the execution the heavens react and a phoenix arrives who starts to harm halfsister, making everyone believe the Zhao family is innocent. 

During the following discussions the emperor arrives. It turns out MC is his daughter. And halfsister is having twins of Jiang Si, who turns out to be her brother. She cuckolded the emperor. The Jiang families' daughter was stolen when she was young and Jiang Shan found MC around the same time in the snow and brought her home. His mother was very angry with Jiang Shan and let her family mistreat him, making him ill and causing him to become dull. He was very intelligent before that. 

The emperor had a twin brother. The twinbrother was raised as the crown prince though he was 2nd born (the empress switched them because the 2nd son looked stronger). The other prince was raised in the cold palace. However this prince was very mature and intelligent and the crown prince wss very playful. He found out about his twinbrother and started to switch with him, letting him go to classes while he left and played. When their father found out about that, the real eldest prince (now emperor) convinced everyone he was the crown prince because he knew about his school lessons, etc. The other prince was convicted to death but managed to escape. He maimed his face to make himself unrecognizable and plotted with ML's stepmother to take the throne. He tried to rob MC's town during the winter and taken in by her and followed her to the capital. He is executed.

Halfsister dies and babies are brought to Jiang Si.

Everyone in the cabinet wants MC to become the empress right away. The emperor is very sad about that. He has been doing his best for years, but everyone wants him to step down asap. MC becomes empress. Jiang Si fails his exams in the capital because of MC.

His mother has been sleeping with young men while her husband stayed in the village and has become pregnant. She starts to bleed when she hears about Jiang Si failing his exams. Jiang Si starts to hit her to make her lose her baby and kills her. 

ML is kidnapped by the saint of a neighbouring country. She wants to marry him to increase her luck. Apparently saints in their country don't live long and have to marry someone with very bad luck to increase their luck. MC decides to travel there to find ML. Turns out the saintess is the director of the mental hospital from her previous life (was male previously). She begs for forgiveness. When MC sees ML again he faints and is declared dead. When a few days later they want to cremate him, the heavens send out rain. At the same time MC is delivering her babies. She gets triplets, 1 boy and 2 girls. When the last girl is born, ML wakes up. He has been sleeping this whole time. He has a condition where he regularly looks dead when he sleeps. He turns out to be a famous actor in MC's previous life who was in love with MC. He also had very bad luck then. She also liked him.

Suddenly we find out that MC was also pregnant with triplets in her previous life. We also suddenly find out a warlock stole MC's luck.

One of MC's mental patients invented time travel in her previous life. She sends MC, ML and her children back to her previous life. Their bodies still exist there. They have been lying in a hospital in a coma for 3 years. MC's body is in the morgue. While she was in a coma her children were delivered and raised by ML's parents. They were dull and their family didn't really like them.

When the children get near MC their intelligence comes back. MC helps a kidnapped child and meets their family. The child's grandmother takes her in as her godchild. It is not said but implied that this is her real mother and the Jiang family kidnapped her when she was a baby. They held her prisoner in the first 15 years of her life and let her bring them good luck. 

ML, MC and children are back together. MC's luck seems to be back. The end.

The story was alright. Don't have to read it again. It read like a slapstick or cartoon. The end was very messy. A lot of new things that were never mentioned before are suddenly introduced. An actress pretends that ML's children are hers. She is questioned when MC's body disappears from the morgue (she happened to be there at that time) and doesn't appear again. We don't find out who the warlock was who stole MC's luck. It is never confirmed that the Yang family is her real family. We don't know if MC and her family go back to the past. She became empress and immediately left to find ML and then went back to her previous life. What was the use of becoming empress? 

Her luck is greatly exaggerated. For example it is mentioned that when an airplane she was in was about to crash lots of birds came to support the airplane and carry it to the ground. This seems rather impossible and if she's really that lucky would an airplane even start to crash?

A short part of what one of the mental patients says about MC.

"You have to study hard so that you can serve Boss Jiang Xi better in the future. Although you're s*upid and a little dimwitted, you've been reincarnated in a good family and become boss's brother. You have to serve Boss Jiang Xi with a grateful heart. When Jiang Xi is standing, you can't sit. When Jiang Xi eats, you have to serve her. When Jiang Xi sleeps, you have to keep an eye on our family. Jiang Xi is the center of everything. Jiang Xi is the heaven, Jiang Xi is the earth, and Jiang Xi is the only God!” Song Yun lectured Jiang Si with a serious expression."

The Eldest Sister Has Space

4 - Gu Yundong died in apocalyptic times because of zombies and woke up in a new body in ancient times. The magical space she had travellled with her.

Her family were on their way to a better place to escape from the famine. However when her father Gu Dajiang went missing after distracting bandits to save the family, her grandfather kicked her family from the fleeing family team. Her grandfather had preferred his sons from another wife for years. Her uncle hit her on her head to steal the 2 pieces of silver her father left her. They leave them with a few potatoes.

Her mother has brain damage because of a blow to her head and acts like a 5 year old child and she has 2 younger siblings. Her younger brother Gu Yunshu is 5 years old and her sister Gu Coco is 1 year old. So it is up to Yundong who is 15 years old to take care of her family. They had agreed with her father that they would meet in Qing'an Mansion (City).

While spending the night in an empty house, she saves a few children from the Bai family from cannibals by killing them. She gets a little food from their guard Gao Feng and takes out some food from her space every now and then to survive. She also gets some silver coins from these cannibals. When they arrive at Qing'an Mansion, the city gates are closed. When they hear that robbers want to attack the city, they decide to go walk to Xuanhe Mansion. 

On their way, a family member tries to sell her to someone in the city. Yundong kills the attackers.

When they arrive at Xuanhe Mansion, Yundong pays entrance fee of the city and asks a guard belonging to the Nie family to help her find a place to stay in the city. He lets her stay with his cousin Ke who loves children. When she sees wanted posted of the robbers who attacked Qing'an Mansion, she sees the pictures look nothing like a real person. She offers to make a better drawing on the basis of a description which looks exactly like the real person. She gets paid 50 silver coins as reward when they manage to capture several robbers on basis of her drawings.

In town she sees Shao Qingyuan who punishes a shop holder who refuses to pay his wages. The shopholder accuses him, but is sentenced to prison for a year.

Yundong asks a doctor to check out her mother. He tells her, her father visited a quack doctor who worsened her condition. The only one who might be able to help is doctor Song.

The magistrate is thankful for her drawings. In return she asks if they can be placed in a village with a town leader who treats his people well. They get assigned to Yongfu village. They pay a family to live with them and buy a plot of land to build a house. Yundong pays a carpenter to build her a house. She is willing to spend all her money on the house.

In the village she sees Shao Qingyuan again. Qingyuan is 18 years at this time. Almost everyone in the village is afraid of him and they call him wolf cub. He separated from the Li family who found him as a baby and raised him and did not honour his grandfather upon his death. His grandfather was the only one in the family who treated him well. 

Yundong meets Qingyuan in the mountains and helps him hunt some wild boars. He offers her half the money he gets from selling them to Liu Wei, a decendant from a wealthy family. She makes him some food in thanks. He really likes her food and starts to like her too. 

Yundong wants to buy some white sugar in town but sees that the sugar that is offered is not really white. She tells the shop owner this is not what she wants and she will make her own white sugar. The shop owner who belongs to the Tao family later denounces her and Liu Wei gets into an argument with the Tao family about that and starts a bet that Yundong can make white sugar. Turns out the Tao family and the Liu family are on bad terms and want to use this to get a few shops from the Liu family. Yundong shows Liu Wei she can make white sugar and convinces him to up the stakes of the bet. Of course Yundong wins the bet.

Yundong decides to offer the recipe to make white sugar to the emperor through Qin Wenzheng, a scholar and teacher in town, and get the right to make her own sugar and have the right to sell her own. She knows she can't protect it herself. She gets awarded some money by the emperor. As condition she wants to let Qin Wenzheng accept her brother as a student in his school.

Yundong decides to buy some more land in the village and build a workshop to start making sugar. Shao Qingyuan (who turns out to be the riches man in the village without anyone knowing about it) lends her 800 silver coins for the startup and gets a share in the company.

She buys a family to oversee her workshop. Their daughter Tong Shuitao has a huge natural strength and becomes her maid / guard.

Yundong hires villagers for her workshop, buys land to grow sugar cane and buys a shop in town to sell sugar. This becomes a succes. All the rich people want to buy white sugar. They are sold out daily. She also buys land to grow fruit trees and start to can fruits and sell these. This also becomes a success.

Yundong decides to open a second shop in Xuanhe Mansion. This also becomes a success. Several people covet her white sugar business, but are afraid because she is protected by the emperor. 

Yundong finds doctor Song and asks him if her mother can be cured. He gives her mother accupuncture but can't completely cure her. He tells her he needs Bai Muzi, an expensive and rare herb to do that. She copies a book with descriptions of herbs from him. She gives this book to Shao Qingyuan who promises to help her look for it.

She hears that her 5 year old cousin Bian Yuanzhi has been brought to the Gu family. Her older cousin Bian Mulan has died. Yuanzhi is being starved and abused at the Gu family. Yundong decides to get Yuanzhi away from the Gu family. At the same time she also takes revenge on them for the way they treated her family and Yuanzhi. She sets them up against each other, causing chaos in the family. When she leaves she brings Yuanzhi back.

She starts looking for her father, but gets no clues. She hangs up wanted posters of her father in Xuanhe Mansion and Qing'an Mansion. She finds out that her father has entered Qing'an Mansion and helped arrest the robbers who attacked the city, but she doesn't know where he is now.

She gets engaged to Shao Qingyuan.

Yundong hears that the Xin family in Wanqing Mansion might have Bai Muzi that can cure her mother. When she arrives there, she meets the Yu family again. She met them before while she waiting at the gates of Qing'an Mansion and they warned her about the oncoming attack on the city. They tell her they met her father, but he is not present at the moment. He has been looking for hem all this time and is living with them when he is not out searching for his family. He has gotten another clue recently and is away because of that. He has heard that the son of the Xin family has taken a concubine with the name Gu Yundong. Uncle Yu also tells her that the Xin family is very wealthy and are unlikely to sell the Bai Muzi to her.

Yundong finds her father beaten up very badly by the Xin family in an alley near their mansion for intruding. They have been apart for 2 years. She takes her father to her room and hires a doctor to help him. While he is recovering she investigates the Xin family and finds out about them colluding with 2 other countries and betraying the emperor. She sends a message to Qin Wenzheng who works for the emperor about this. A few days later Mo Xulin shows up asking her to help find evidence. It so happens that she just bought a former servant of the Xin family to help her father who has a letter his sister left him. His sister was killed after overhearing them talk about some things.  

Yundong turns in the things she has and the following day the Xin family is arrested by the people of the emperor. She meets Duan Qian, who is leading the investigation team. Duan Qian comes from a wealthy merchant family. As a reward for helping them she gets to pick a number of things from the treasury of the Xin family and gets a shop at a prominent place. She decides to open a vegetable shop and hires uncle Yu as a manager. 

On their way home her father tells Yundong that a taoist priest once told him her soul was unstable and predicted that her soul would be restored at 14 after surviving a death calamity. After hearing that she thinks that her soul in the other world was unstable too and her soul is now complete.

When they return they find out that Shao Qingyuan has opened a medicine shop next to Yundong's shop. He has been learning medicine from the book Yundong gave him and has been learning very fast. (while Yundong can't remember a thing from the book).

Shao Qingyuan has been kidnapped as a baby by his grandfather and has always been treated badly by his adoptive parents. At age 5 they left him behind in the forest in the mountains. He was played with by apes, but managed to escape and get back. At age 8 he was sold to traffickers and escaped with another boy and came back because his grandfather treated him well. When he was about 15 his grandfather knew he was about to die and tried to poison him. By accident the water with the poison ended up in grandfather's food and grandfather was poisoned. When he was dying, he told ML that his parents, who belonged to the Tao family, didn't want him. A taoist told them that he brought them bad luck. They had him taken away and brought up to have a miserable life so their life could be good. His grandfather who took him treated him well, while his parents treated him badly. He deliberately treated ML with snacks etc to make the other children jealous and mistreat him. He thought up all kinds of things to make him more miserable while acting like he was the only one that loved him and treated him well.

MC and ML get caught up in a conspiracy to change the emperor of their country. They find out that the Tao family also belongs to the conspiracy. 

MC follows conspirators and hides in a box they are transporting. She removes all the silver from the box first and hides that in her space. She finds their hideout in the woods and runs away after that. She meets ML who was looking for her and they go back.

They tell Qin Wenzheng about what they found out and about ML's family in the hope ML will get exempted from capital punishment when the Tao family gets captured. The eldest son of the Tao family is not favoured by his father and not working with him. He is trying to find his younger brother who was taken away after birth. After investigation the real younger brother is found. Turns out ML does not belong to the Tao family. The father and younger son of the Tao family are punished. The other sons go free.

When the 2nd son of the Li family has a wedding, they invite ML. They don't want to be avoided in the village because of the things their family did (the people in the village found out about it because ML told them). He does not intend to come after the way he was treated by the Li family, though the 2nd family did not really mistreat him. When they tell him they have something that belonged to him as a baby he decides to come anyway. After the wedding they give him a handkerchief with the words Shao on it. 

When ML asks the Tao sons about this handkerchief, they tell him that it is made from cloth that is only available to the emperor and some highly regarded noble families.

The couple help round up a gang of traffickers. Their leader is the wife of the traffickers who took ML when he was 8 years old. Her husband was killed when ML and his friend (from the influential Dou family) escaped. She wants to kill everyone who was involved in the death of her husband. They manage to capture everyone from their gang. Turns out that grandfather Li (who abducted ML), used to belong to this gang. One of the leaders tells them he kidnapped ML on command of grandfather Li. He tells them he seemed to hate ML's parents. He describes a bracelet his mother wore. They make a copy of this bracelet.

Gu Dajiang decides to go back to school to keep studying. He wants to become a scholar and an official. He enters a prominent school in Xuanhe Mansion and they buy a house there.

MC decides to create Xinming pavillion in Xuanhe Mansion, a sort of cafe only meant for wealthy women and their children. They can drink and eat there and enjoy themselves. MC creates the design and the recipes. She works with Mrs. Dai and Nie Shuang, who are both from wealthy families, to create it. They will manage the shop. It becomes a huge success.

MC finds her aunt Gu Dafeng and uncle, the parents of Bian Yuanzhi, because of wooden carvings her aunt tries to sell. She finds out her cousin, who has become a concubine of a wealthy man, had them sign an ens*avement contract with her and has been mistreating them. MC asks the Duan family to help her buy the contract from them to free them, since the Duan family is more powerful. This is a succes. Her uncle's legs have been broken by the cousin, so MC gets a doctor to help him. They start selling wooden carvings and start earning money this way. When this works, they open a shop with MC's help to sell his wood creations.

MC also hires him to create a playgarden with a slide, swing and seesaw for the children who visit Xinming pavillion, which becomes a huge success. Her uncle gets a lot of assignments to make them for wealthy families.

Gu Yundong gets a clue about her uncle Gu Xiaoxi. He was saved by a man and promised him to take care of his daughter. She travels to the town where her uncle is and finds out he is about to be executed because he cheated on his wife (the daughter he promised to take care of). Yundong saves him and finds out the wife has been acting sick since they got married and let her uncle do all the work. The marriage has never been consumated. She has found a wealthy man who wants her to be his concubine and decides to kill her husband because of that. She drugs him and a Chu Yaya, girl from another family, to make it seem they cheated. Yundong proves their innocence. Her uncle marries Chu Yaya after that and follows Yundong to Yongfu village, where he buys a piece of land. He plans to become a farmer. When Yundong finds out he is a good storyteller, she lets him tell stories in the village to practice. He later starts writing boos and becomes a very well-known writer.

Gu Yundong gets married to Shao Qingyuan.

They decide to travel to the capital to find clues about Qingyuan's parents. When they arrive they buy a mansion and MC decides to open a workshop and shop to sell sugar and cans. She also opens another Xinming pavillion with the wife of Qin Wenzheng. She gets introduced to a wife of the Shao family, but she does not recognize the handkerchief and bracelet she has. She later meets a servant who recognizes the handkerchief. She tells them it belonged to the daughter of the Shao family, Shao Yi. Her father wanted her to marry the 3rd prince, but she didn't want that. She was then kidnapped by Gu Jingyuan. Her father was furious and showed proof of the Gu family not paying taxes, etc and the entire family was sentenced to Lingzhou Mansion. This is an island where prisoners are sent. Only when a 3rd generation is born on the island, are people from the island allowed to leave that place. Shao Yi was pronounced dead by ner father.

MC and ML decide to travel to Lingzhou Mansion. They meet the Gu family, who are morally very bad and selfish people. They find out that Shao Yi was freed by Bai Hang, who belongs to a famous medical family.

They travel to a neighbouring magistrate to find out how to meet them and happen to meet them there. Shao Yi and Bai Heng are indeed ML's parents. Shao Yi has been having mental problems since her son was abducted. Because of that she has always led a secluded life in the Bai family. They travel to the Bai family to meet the rest of the family. Shao Yi falls into the pond shortly after. Turns out mrs. Xu, the wife of the eldest son of the Bai family, is responsible for Shao Yi's relapses. She tells them she wants her child to take over the family. The eldest son and his children have no talent in medicine. ML's father and ML do. The family has hospitals all over the country. They created them to look for ML.

Turns out the Xu family tries to take over the Bai family and they are colluding with King Lu, the uncle of the emperor to take over the throne. The replaced the son of the 3rd who was executed because of trying to kill his father the emperor, and a daughter of the Xu family had a son together, and this son was placed in the Bai family. This is Bai Zhiyan, who is now trying to take the throne.

The Xu family is arrested, later King Lu and his son are also arrested after a large attack in the capital trying to take over the throne. However Bai Zhiyan manages to escape.

MC and ML have a son together. MC is rewarded the title of county princess by the emperor because of her contribution to their country. She has also given the emperor a recipe for making a magnifying glass.

The emperor gets clues that Bai Zhiyan might be hiding at the border in the south. He makes ML a magistrate of a border town and asks him to find clues. ML does not want to be an official, but knows that Bai Zhiyan will not leave them alone since they had a great part in discovering his conspiracy. The town ML becomes magistrate of is very poor. MC decides to open a workshop and a shop again. In the workshop she will make sugar and fruit wines. She hires local carpenters to improve the magistrate housing and build her workshop and later the Duan family also decides to build a workshop there. This causes a great improvement in the living circumstances there. MC even decides to teach drawing at the local school. A few teachers who are not fit are fired. 

Gu Dajiang becomes a scholar and becomes the prefect of the area where MC and ML are.

MC and ML find Bai Zhiyang after a lot of searching after he tries to attack them. He is colluding with the Li country to invade their empire. He manages to escape to the Li country through miasma woods. MC and ML follow him. She has oxygen tanks they can use to travel through the woods to avoid being poisoned. 3 of Bai Zhiyang's men die in the woods of poisoning, leaving him only 1 man. They capture Bai Zhiyang in the border town. He kills a couple there and wounds several people in town. They meet a 4 year old boy Song Yan who belongs to their kingdom whose mother died. He is being mistreated by the villagers. 

When they leave the town, they bring along Song Yan. They decide to travel with a carriage and go back to their country the official way. However when they stay in a border town, they are discovered by a guard who finds out they do not have identification. They pay him with sugar to bribe him. He gets MC an identification and orders her to get more sugar to free ML. She leaves the country with Bai Zhiyan and Song Yan in a hidden compartment in the carriage. ML escapes the city and decides to go through the miasma woods again. MC has left him an oxygen tank to use. ML warns a few children in the border village who helped him before that a war might be coming and to leave the village. They tell him that several lf their soldiers entered the miasma woods to look for him. ML enters the miasma woods and kills the soldiers. One of them is a spy of their country. However his gas tube is cut during a fight with the soldiers and he gets of the trail when he is attacked by a wild boar.

MC enters the miasma woods from her countries side and goes in again to look for ML. She finds him and gives him a new tank, saving his life. They safely leave the woods.

Shortly after their country is attacked by Li country. The spy tells his employer that the Li country is searching for a girl named Song Ruishu. MC is asked to look for her. 

She also hears that her uncle Gu Xiaoxi (who has a son now) traveled to the area where the Gu family lives and hears about the death of his mother. He goes to her funeral and pays the expenses of the funeral. The 2 sons of his father who stayed don't want to take care of his father. He rents a house and starts to live there with his father. The family try to extort him and his father brings in his grandson and 2 sons to get money from Xiaoxi. 

While looking for traces of Song Ruishu MC visits her uncle Gu Xiaoxi. 

When Yundong throws the other family members out, they file a complaint with the magistrate. When they accuse her father of being not filial, they hear they will be punished with 20 planks for filing a complaint against an official. When they change their compaint to MC it is the same. When they change it to her uncle Gu Xiaoxi, he tells them he has been filial. He has taken in his father and taken care of him. After changing a few times, the magistrate punishes them anyway. Since they are punished they decide to file the complaint agains MC's father. When the magistrate hears that her father is the prefect at the border and can't leave because of the war between the countries, they are sent to jail. Her grandfather is sent to 3 years in prison, the others 1 year. Gu Xiaoxi tells his grandfather he had been planning to buy him a house and a few servants to take care of him, and asks him why he had to bring in his other family members to harrass him. He tells him he was just greedy. Gu Xiaoxi never cares for his father again. His father leaves prison after 3 years and stays alone after that waiting for Gu Xiaoxi.

Gu Fa, one of the grandsons r*ped a girl to marry her and she got pregnant. She gets a daughter named Gu Ruyi. She is living a very unhappy life with him. MC gets the girl assigned to her mother and she and her parents and daughter leaves with MC to another place. MC brings her to the place she is looking for the Song girl and they settle there. She even finds the father a job. 

She finds Song Ruishu's family and finds out she has been missing since the famine. Her family is a merchant family. She also finds out the Su family has been looking for her 2 years before. The Su family also has a daughter missing since the famine and Song Ruishu was her maid. After some deduction she concludes that Song Ya is her daughter or the daughter of the girl of the Su family.

She travels with speed to the emperor to ask to spare Song Ya's life. She then travels back to ML and tells him about this. They start to strictly guard their house and Song Ya. A few days later the emperor of Li country arrives and attacks their place. They get to a standstill and start to negotiate. Turns out Song Ya is the son of the emperor and the girl of the Su family. She became the emperor's concubine. She met him while they were at Qing'an Mansion and he brought her along when he went back. She was poisoned by the queen and let Song Ruishu escape with her son to save his life.

Song Ya and his father travel to the capital and negotiate peace. He brings Song Ya back to his country.

Shao Qingyuan hands the emperor the design of a telescope. After some research based on MC's books he also hands in a way to fertilize land. 2 years later his term as a magistrate is up and the couple travels back to the capital. When the emperor wants to promote him, he resigns. He does not like being an official. The emperor does not like it, but accepts it. He is promoted to marquis.

They go back to living in Xuanhe Mansion.

Extra's start at ch 3561.

10 years later Gu Yunshu is married to the daughter of Yi Zilan, a family member of the emperor. Gu Coco, who has loved cooking is married to Qi Ting, the grandson of Gu Dajiang's teacher. She has opened a restaurant. Qi Ting became the magistrate of the village where Shao Qingyuan was magistrate of before. Chichi (or Bai Mo), MC and ML's son is 12 years old. He is adventuring. He is a very strong fighter and good in medicine. The couple's has also gotten a daughter, called Wanwan.

Gu Ruyi has become a very good embroiderer. She has arrived at Xuanhe Mansion with a few others to repair an expensive embroidery. While at the house of the embroiderers. She is attacked by their son who wants her to become his concubine. Gu Yundong rescues her.

Song Ya visits them. He has been poisoned 3 years before and has not managed to remove the poison. ML's grandfather removes the poison. When Song Ya and Chichi go hunting in the woods at Yongfa village, the local snake of Xuanhe Mansion finds out assassins want to kill Song Ya. He gets wounded while trying to pass on the message and is saved by Gu Ruyi. He falls in love with ner and marries her a few years later.

Song Ya and Chichi fight of the assassins and kill them all.

At a medical conference ML's student announces that when cousins get married there is a higher chance of birth defects. This causes a huge uproar. 

2 years later Chichi travels to Li country to visit Song Ya.

This is a nice novel. Has lots of characters who keep coming back. Sometimes hard to keep track of. ML has had no experience of real family life before meeting MC. He is quite strong, but most of the fighting in the novel is done by MC and her maid. Very little saving MC by ML. Nice characters. Children also feel like real children. No OP characters, except maybe MC's maid.

The Era of Rebirth: Supermarket Space is Easy To Get Rich

2 - A gas explosion caused Bai Xue to be reborn in Bai Ruxue’s body in China of the early 70s.

Fortunately, her supermarket store followed her in the form of a magical space with a system. Rice noodles, grains and oils, vegetable and fruit snacks, clothing are all available.

She has loving parents and is the eldest of 7 children. However her parents are very filial and mentally weak, so they are always bullied by her grandmother. The grandmother even stole all the food in their house while her mother was giving birth to twins. 

Bai Xue starts to change their life with the products in her supermarket. She also starts selling food on the black market with the help of a cook she meets. The cook hires several people who sell the products for her. She starts earning money and meets Zhang Yuan, an educated youth who saved her life by carrying her down the mountain when she fell and became unconscious. He tells her he likes her and she likes him too, so they get engaged. The system tells her he is a destined lover and she can share her supermarket with him, so he can get access to it too. He starts helping her with selling products.

Everything they take out of the supermarket gets supplemented daily. 

With the help of someone in town to whom she delivers food, she helps her father get a job in a factory. In town she meets her aunt and notices her father looks a lot like her uncle who has died. Turns out that the woman whom he thought was his mother has switched both children after they were born. She wanted her son to grow up in the town. After that the family changes their surname to Lin and are written in the books as towns people. The other son is moved to the village to live with his mother.

Zhang Yuan has to move back to the capital. He is helping to develop an electric car for the country (with the prototype of a moped and later also a car present in MC's space).

They agree to get married 3 years later (MC was only 15 when they got engaged). MC keeps selling food and ML also sells stuff in the capital. With the money she buys houses.

When her younger sisters go to highschool in another town, MC joins them and also starts going to scholl. Before she graduates, the 3 years ML gave her are up and the couple get married. They move with their entire family to the capital after that.

MC buys houses for all her brothers and sisters and her parents in the capital so they can live comfortably. MC gets pregnant quite early in their marriage and she gets a daughter. 

She buys a piece of land and builds a shopping centre on that land. Her sister and several family members start working for her. The cook and his people who were selling her food also start working for her in her company.

4 years later she gets pregnant again.

The novel ends rather abrupt after her supermarket updates and she can sell stuff to other worlds.

Lots of trouble with the 2 eldest brothers of her mother who are very selfish, and the former mother of her father who always tries to take advantage of them.

When her maternal grandfather has a stroke, the 2 eldest brothers don't help with paying the hospital bills, which slows down his recovery. The younger brother can't be blamed as much as his brother-in-law stole his money and beat him up. Because of that they decide to bring the younger brother to the capital and get him a simple job there.

ML's father married his mistress shortly after his mother died. This mistress caused the death of ML's mother. Because of that he was raised by his grandparents who didn't like the mistress. The mistress gets 1 daughter and 2 sons. The daughter of the mistress gets pregnant later on and tries to convince MC to raise her baby after it is born. Mc refuses. She then has an abortion, which causes complications. After that she has a hysterectomy and can't have children again. When MC gets pregnant she pushes MC out of revenge, which amost causes MC to lose her baby. ML puts his sister and stepmother in a mental hospital after that.

1 of his brothers (son of the stepmother) is alright and falls in love with one of MC's sisters. They get married later on.

Novel was allright, but not too interesting.

On the Wedding Night In the 80s, the Sweet Wife Has Space

3 - Yun Mo transmigrated into a book in the 80's, and became the vicious female supporting role of the same name in a period novel.

The original owner was a fake daughter who was wronged, arrogant and domineering, bad and violent, married to a poor man named Ling Chuan by her adoptive parents. Her adoptive father Yun Shixian only cares about money and profit and decides to abandon Yun Mo and her adoptive mother couldn't like her anymore after she found out she was not her daughter. They now give their attention to Yun Yao, who is reborn. 

In her previous life, Yun Mo married her wealthy fiancee, arranged by her family, found her rich father and was happily married. She died at 40 of cancer. Yun Yao had a miserable life. She married an abusive man, who was a con man, ended up in prison and only found out about her real parents later in life. She wants to marry the fiancee in this life and tries to set Yun Mo up in every way she can. She has her thrown out of school for cheating (before the new soul takes over) and convinces her parents to let Yun Mo marry Ling Chuan, a poor man. On her wedding day she tries to accuse her of stealing a bracelet of a wealthy woman, but Yun Mo manages to replace the bracelet with one from her space and proves her innocence.

Ling Chuan became very rich in her previous life, but the former Yun Mo didn't like him and abandoned him and she died in poverty.

Yun Mo decides to change her life and see how things go with Ling Chuan. If she doesn't like him she can always divorce him. Ling Chuan lives with his elder brother Ling Jiang and his wife Li Li and 2 children. Li Li spoils her son and treats her daughter badly. She lets her daughter do most of the work in the house. When Yunmo finds out she can't stand her Li Li and her son (the daughter is very nice) she decides to rent a big property to live in. 

When Yun Yao decides to visit Yun Mo with her friend Zeng Fang to gloat on her miserable life, Yun Mo is not present, but Li Lija, the brother of her sister-in-law is. He intends to r*pe Yun Mo and accidentally lights candles that contain an aphrodisiac he intended to use on Yun Mo. Yun Yao finds out about it and runs out of the house, but Zeng Fang gets r*ped. Yun Shixiang tries to force Yun Mo to visit Zeng Fang to apologise. Yun Mo agrees, but demands he gets her back into a school in return. Zeng Fang becomes friends with Yun Mo after that and her family also help Yun Mo out several times. They blame Yun Yao. She could have helped Zeng Fang, but only ran out and watched things happen. 

Yun Mo gives Ling Chuan a choice to live separate from his brother or divorce her. He decides to separate from his brother. He also beats up Li Lija.

Yun Mo helps Zeng Fang by setting Li Lija up. He steals from a wealthy man and is sentenced to prison for 8 years.

Yun Mo starts to study seriously and wants to enter the best university in Beijing after graduation. When she gets very good grades, she is accused of cheating by the board of education without any proof and is thrown out of school. Yun Mo decides to protest by going to the local newspaper and have them write an article about it. She gets a chance to redo her exams and gets even better grades. She is accepted at a better school after that.

Yun Mo decides to find her real family. Yun Yao left the family taking all of their money to find her real parents. Her mother is still single, she had her baby while she was not married, her grandmother fell and hurt her leg and they don't have money to treat her because Yun Hao stole all their money. The marriage of her cousin also fell through because of that. 1 Uncle is very filial, but 2 uncles only care about their own families and refuse to help. Yun Mo sells a bracelet she has from her previous life to get money to treat her grandmother. 

Yun Mo decides to try and help her family and convinces them to start a weaving company. Her family is good at weaving baskets etc. She convinces the company of Xie Xia, a rich classmate, to buy baskets from them. After some trouble the company is created. Her mother becomes the director. Yun Mo also sells recipes for food to the company of her classmate and convinces them to pay her 15% of the profit of selling these foods.

With the money she earns from this, she convinces her husband to start selling watches he can buy from elsewhere after he gets fired from his job at a construction site (under instigation of Yun Shixian). Ling Chuan decides to cooperate with his godfather. The first trip of buying the watches and selling them in their town is very succesful. When his sister in law finds out how much profit they made, she insists on participating with her money. However the godfather gets caught on the second trip and the merchandise is confiscated. They have to use all the money they earned to get the godfather from prison. Turns out that the sister-in-law blabbed about what they were doing to the neighbours and they were betrayed because of that.

Ling Chuan and his brother decide to buy women's trinkets (bracelets, earrings, etc) and start selling these. Later Ling Chuan starts selling clothes and open a shop in town while his brother continues selling trinkets. They earn quite a lot with that.

Yun Mo thinks that Ling Jiang's son might not be his own son and convinces Ling Chuan to do a DNA test. Turns out she is right. She has a fortune teller tell Li Li that her husband brings her bad luck (her brother is in prison, her mother gets killed by Yun Yao, etc). Li Li starts treating Ling Jiang pretty badly. Ling Chuan tells his brother about the DNA test and convinces his brother to divorce his wife. He will give her 20 yuan monthly. He keeps his daughter and she keeps her son.

Yun Yao tries to drug her fiancee to get him to marry her, but her sister takes advantage of that and sleeps with him. The engagement is changed to the younger sister (his 3rd fiancee :-)). Yun Yao decides to poison her sister. The sister gets leukemia because of that and dies half a year later. When Yun Mo sees her body she thinks the sister might be poisoned. She asks a friend to check the body and finds out she was indeed poisoned. Yun Mo hands Yun Shixiang the evidence, but does nothing with it, except forcing Yun Yao to sleep with a abusive business partner to get jobs. Yun Yao has tried to act against Yun Mo and Zeng Fang several times, but fails each time, partially because Yun Mo has a private detective follow Yun Yao. 

Yun Mo finds out about her her father Shao Lin and writes him a letter. He finds out he was cheated years ago. Shao Lin is the patriarch from the wealthiest family in the capital. He slept with Yun Mo's mother when he was drunk. When a colleague of Yun Mo's mother who was pregnant saw her leaving his room, she sneaked into the room and pretended she slept with him. She later told him she got pregnant and Shao Lin paid for her son. He never married her and she raised her son. The son was not officially added to the family registry. He grew up spoiled by his mother and became a good for nothing. He ends up in prison for killing someone while driving drunk and some other things. 

Shao Lin finds and visits Yun Mo when she is doing the university admissions test. Yun Yao tries to stop her from participating and fails. Yun Mo gets the highest grade in her province. Yun Mo decides to study biology in the Beijing university. Ling Chuan follows her.  

When Yun Shixiang thinks Yun Yao has no more use for him, he gives Yun Mo proof of several things Yun Yao has done and Yun Mo hands this over to the police. Yun Yao receives a death sentence for the things she has done.

Yun Mo gets accepted by the Shao family. She does well at the university. Ling Chuan decides to get a dealership with Motorola for selling pagers. He opens a shop and does very well. Ling Chuan also starts to learn again and gets a high school certificate and later on a university grade by studying in the evenings. Ling Chuan convinces his brother to also move to Beijing. His brother gets a share in his company and becomes manager of a second shop Ling Chuan opens. Ling Jian gets remarried and later has a son. 

Yun Shixian becomes bankrupt. When he wants to take over his mistresses company (she thinks he might be responsible for her father's death and works with Yun Mo), she turns him in. He ends up in prison for 5 years.

Yun Mo once handed healing water from her magical space over to a detective. With this water he cured his brother who was paralysed. A part of the water he handed over to a scientist. When the detective goes missing, his brother comes looking for Yun Mo. Yun Mo tells the brother he got healed thanks to healing water and to check on the scientist who also received some. Turns out the scientist got greedy and tried to convince the detective to tell him how he got the water. The detective committed su*cide so he would not have to tell how he got the water. Afraid of being investigated, Yun Mo decides to remove the well from her space and place it in a deserted cave. She saves enough water to be able to save herself and her family for generations to come. She then sends an anonymous letter to the government about it. Yun Mo was indeed being investigated and saves herself by doing that.

Ling Chuan becomes a very succesful and wealthy businessman. Yun Mo starts a beauty center and hands its management to someonee else. She graduates in plant biology and becomes a professor at her university.

Ling Chunhua, the daughter of Ling Jian, marries Xie Jinghuai, the brother of Xie Xia, who always used to tease her when she was young.

Zeng Fang marries Shen Zhen, a son of a wealthy and influential family. His brother has been in a coma for 13 years. Yun Mo helps him regain consciousness with her healing water.

Xie Xia went to study out of the country. She was in love with Yun Mo. She got a daughter through artificial insemination. When she found out she had breast cancer she decided to kill su*cide. She asked Yun Mo to take care of her daughter.

Shao Lin is still in love with Yun Mo's mother but they don't get remarried. Her mother refuses to get bback together with him. She doesn't want to become the matriarch of such an influential family.

The book was alright, but wouldn't read it again. ML is quite boring, always listening to MC, didn't like the ending of several characters and MC losing her springwater. Thought it was quite weird that ML was said to become as rich as the Shao family with only several shops. She moves in with an aunt and her uncle gets accused of a accidental homicide thanks to the Fang family. Yinxia becomes Zusheng's girlfriend. Then Yinxia's aunt turns out to be the one who killed her parents. The aunt is lesbian, and her mother did not agree with that, so she let her son r*pe the aunt's partner. The partner became pregnant and gave birth to a child. After that she committed su*cide. The child (Yinxia) was given to her father. The aunt killed Yinxia's parents out of revenge for what her father had done when she found out about it. She commits su*cide by jumping from the 3rd floor of a hospital and tries to take Yinxia with her. Yinxia survives and marries Zusheng when she graduates from college. He becomes a famous phycicist.

When he is 15, Fang Zhikai meets Gu Yiqiu again, a girl who was a good friend and whom he last saw when he was 4. She spent the last 10 years in the USA. He falls in love with her right away.

They get married years later and have a daughter.

Several years later Chi Baoguang died. He is over 80 at that time.

He finds out his father was a serial killer and he killed his father when he tried to kill the girl living next to them (Xiao Li). His mother confessed to the mu*der and was sent to prison. Zhuang Long forgot about what happened. When he regains his memories he remarries Xiao Li. Xiao Li comes from the Lawson family, a family where the children are obliged to marry family members. Their family has a lot of handicapped children because of inbreed, but they continue with this because a few children in each generation are brilliant. The novel is more than 1200 chapters in total. After around ch 300 a large part of the novel is spent on the other romances. I skipped a lot of chapters concerning them and concentrated on the chapters about the main couple. Lots of the same things happening to different people. Wouldn't read it again.

Gong Zeli, also a best friend of Mo Yesi, has been in love with Shen Rou since she saved his life when he almost drowned. He treats Mianmian badly because of that. When he finds out that Mianmian was the one who saved him he breaks off all relations with Shen Rou and falls in love with Mianmian. He saves her several times when she is harrassed by men, causing rumors to appear about the 2 of them each time. His mother tries to set him up with the daughter of friends and this girl starts insulting MC when she sees her with Gong Zeli. His mother believes the rumors and tries to get MC r*ped by a pe*vert. MC knocks the pe*vert out and Mo Yesi breaks off all business relations with the Gong family. 

In the end Gong Zeli decides to go abroad to expand their company. He will probably not return unless he gets over Mianmian.

Jiang Luoli, MC's best friend falls in love with Mo Yesi's brother and becomes pregnant with him. They get married. He was in the running for presidency, but decides to give up on that to be able to spend more time with his family. They get a daughter. Mrs. Mo, the mother-in-law, thinks her standing is too low and can't stand her and wants them to break up. She makes several attempts to separate them including trying to kidnap Luoli. She decides to kidnap their daughter after their birth and hands her over to Tang Mo, who hates the Mo family. She is a half-sister of Mo Yesi. Their father had temporary memory loss more than 20 years ago and fell in love with Tang Xi's mother, but separated from her after he got his memories back, without knowing they had a child.

Tang Mo does not harm the baby and they get her back, but is prosecuted for the kidnapping. Mo Yucheng and Mrs. Mo get divorced after that. Mrs. Mo regrets the things she did.

Qiao Chen falls in love with Shen Xin, Shen Rou's sister. He finds out he is the illegitimate son of Mo Yesi's uncle, who was kidnapped by his wife after birth. He is taken in by the family and will take over his uncle's business in the future. His surgery by Mo Yesi is succesful. Because of all the things Shen Rou did, Mo Yesi bankrupts the Shen company. Shen Rou gets in a car accident and loses both her legs and becomes like a 3 year old child because of brain damage. She only remembers Mo Yesi after that. Qiao Chen and Shen Xin secretly date and hope to convince the Shen family in the future. Father Shen is hired as director after the Mo family takes over their company.

Has some illogical things like Mo Yesi at 25 being a great surgeon who hasn't operated on anyone for years. Him being known as the greatest jewelry designer after having won 1 contest who has never appeared after that. All the jealous women going after Mianmian and trying to blacken her even after knowing she has powerful backing. If one or 2 were like that, I could believe it, but 10 or more of them?
