1) WELL ROUNDED CHARACTERS. (We all want characters who we can love, hate and most especially love and hate. So this is me carefully selecting the best novels that showcase characters with different personalities, clashing ideals and emphasizes the beauty of human psychology. Lord help me making the plot of BL novels solely between the two main characters being hopelessly entangled with each other can make things stale very quick) 

2) DECENT WORLD BUILDING. (I love worldbuilding, so sorry if I put the transverse-system novels a little lower because generally the lack of one world makes it difficult to really immerse in the culture of the world it creates and despite a variety of novels being character driven its also nice to see how a particular world and its timeline can influence our many character’s action)

3) INTERESTING AND ENGAGING PLOT.(There is a reason why I want well rounded characters and decent world building, and thats because both are essential to actually having a good plot. And it shows because a) once you read it you cant place it down, and despite the transmigration themes having somewhat similar storylines, b) a good novel will leave an impression on you while c) not wasting words needlessly but also wont be stingy with words  <<less

I am a sucker for (1) traditional, ancient setting w/ fantasy elements, xianxia (not really wuxia), tragedy, face-slapping, revenge, rebirth troupes. (2) fluffy, comedy that makes me rolling on the ground laughing... more>>

But I edit this list every time I finish reading a novel, so most of the time, the newer ones will be higher up. So the ranking is pretty biased. 
Just saying that I'm very picky and values rating (4.5 or above is usually my cut off, although there are some exceptions. OR sometimes the novel rating decreased over time)

Just keep in mind that I'm a person who if a story can make me cry my eyes out, that story will inevitably rank higher than those that are just as good, but do not have a tragic element to it. Generally, tragic stories leave more of an impression on me <<less
