Ch. 12: Well, this turned around and made me look s*upid. Even with all the s*upid misunderstandings, I would usually be heavily annoyed and angered by now, but I actually really like this. I can't even tell why. Maybe because the ML is arrogant and inflated about it or the MC isn't being a brainless idiot, but whatever it is, the author did this tremendously well for me to like this at all, much less to like it to this extent. Extremely funny and cute and understandable. The misunderstandings aren't even s*upid or forced; they're inevitable and that's pretty ingenious. There's bound to be one out of all of them. Rather than dumbly sticking to the gay misinterpreting guy. Ch. 43: Progressively hating this more as I read. The MC is really an idiot that never communicates or is smart when he needs to. This author just conveniently switches up their personality when she feels like to fit a certain trope and plot line and it is not working. It is horrible to read. The ML still makes me hate him and he is so immature. It isn't insta-love, but the love is certainly appearing out of nowhere. This author is also grasping at straws to somehow put the other love interests in bad light for no reason, just to make sure there's a reason to pick the ML. It's absurd and exceedingly bad writing. There's nothing funny about this plot. If my roommates did those things to me, I would cry and never talk to them again. The characters are all horrible and only feel like the author's tools and nothing more, the humour is even worse and the story is a hateful mess of misunderstandings that the author mistakenly thinks will be amusing. Everything feels forced to fit the plot, down to the love didn't feel real.

Ch. 48: With every passing moment, I hate the MC more and more, I hate the ML more and more, and I hate this story more and more. I see no way for this to redeem itself. Gross. I'm not the type to totally hate on a whole novel, because there's bound to be some good elements to it, however small. Ch. 100: So far, the plot is just a plainer version of what I remember from the plot points of GFN and GBB, but without a group of friends and the medical aspect is more fictitious and less in depth. The romantic interest reminds me of the one from Military Lineage, following her around, giggling and finding her interesting, despite never being amused by anything else before. Well, it may be interesting regardless of the parallels so we'll see. Also, if she is the scapegoat for Liu Mu or whatever, let's see how she leaves unscathed. She's been pretty wishy-washy on revenge and putting people in their places so it's been pretty lame and frustrating in that aspect so far.

Ch. 147: So she still is lame in revenge and defending herself, but this clan is really scum that needs to die though. Wow. I kind of wish her parents would come back and beat the living daylight out of them, then leave the clan, then completely destroy it. That would be satisfying. The translation is still not my cup of tea, and I still get annoyed at mixing up names and the boring writing style that makes me skip over whole sentences. She's not really that clever, but the plot is predictable and similar to every other story with doctors, alchemists and pharmacists, except with a less smart and capable MC. Can't say I like the ML, and I like his sidekick even less.
