Ch. 52.1: This became entirely too moronic all too fast for me to continue. Arc 1 was fine. MC was intelligent, calm, thorough and other than his s*upid character setting that made him weaker than he actually was (even with heart disease) and cry every 2 seconds, it was all good. I could even overlook all the insane SA and ridiculous copious amounts of people drooling or getting hard for his appearance. That was until Arc 2 where the only thing to keep you reading was the MC, but he was decisively a thorough idiot the whole time and I was not having it. + Not only was he voluntarily an idiot due to ghosts, he was also a walking braindead cause of the girls. I kind of overlooked it in Arc 1 with Su Xiaozhen, when his brain entirely blanked out for way too long cause he thought she was too forward with her s*xual advances and when he let her leave the fight early with imminent death facing him cause he was worried that as a female, she wouldn’t want too many scars. What. It came back to me in Arc 2 with a vengeance. I felt I was reading one of those ecchi shounen stories in slow motion and with the cringiness, fetishisation and misogyny meters maxed out. Literally staring at his 'girlfriend's' b**bs in public for an extended period of time (the explanation being her heartbeat being in the wrong place, but you can feel that with your arm around her so where was the need for the explicit prolonged stare that could give it away that you found out?) and he blanked out again after another girl literally jumps on him in the bathroom to have s*x and he could not find his wits for even 1 second to realise she didn't have a shadow? Even when he tried to push her off, it was the cliche, 'accidentally reach for the chest and blush like crazy, barely be able to form words' and what IQ, what acting skills? All in the tr*sh. 

+ They even made him weaker in Arc 2 than in Arc 1 for no real reason, but by my understanding, it's just the author wanting her other characters to bully, SA and r*pe MC more. Not a braindead, waste of time plot at alllll. All those 5 star ratings and for what? For the constant SA and constant mention of MC's looks, MC's eyes (that keep crying and reddening inexplicably), MC's weak frail waist, MC's chest, MC's mole, bro. Y'all ain't here for no 'excellent masterpiece horror plot that is your absolute favourite' and we know it. Stop lying to new readers and to yourselves. You're here for the vulgar depravity. Ch. 01: First impression is ew. This writing style is childish, s*upid and it seems entirely poorly written and not thought-out at all. Its pacing is bad, it's jumpy and it doesn't flow or flesh out scenarios well at all. The characterisation is insane. Someone tells you their name and you scream. Wow, makes sense. Ew. Also, why are the people who you abused and told you to leave, cooperatively telling you their names, which you should've already known? Is the author high? MC just found out she abused someone and when she realised it was the main character of the story, MC hugged the very girl she just abused? If my brain was this... more>> broken, I'd just off myself. Ch. 29: The amount of times I've cursed is unreal. What the hell is wrong with this MC's brain? Her thought process, lack of thoughts or IQ, as well as her dire need of brain cells, will make you want to puke and make your brain start to melt, rot and leak all at once. I'm glad she needs to slap herself everyday. It relieves my rage and desperate desire to slap her till her skull cracks open and her brain starts working again. You get a mission that says, "Fire the maid" and coincidentally just last night and this morning, you've been getting creepy vibes and abuse signals from a maid that barely showed up to work. You think, let's fire myself or someone else. MC proceeded to write a resignation letter and made the shocked Pikachu face when it didn't qualify as 'firing'. Then, MC goes on to berate herself about how she could make a mistake like that when she's not illiterate. Bro, I think I know the answer to that and I don't think you want to hear it. At this point, she just goes, let's fire anyone else other than the creepy maid we hate and are scared of. Author, I swear, something isn't wrong with MC's brain, it's yours. Are you sick to think this was a logical plot point? The most brain dead thing I've spent my time reading. I can feel my brain being corroded by this author's lack of sense and IQ. Should I continue to injure myself reading this? DNF?

Ch. 30: The single, s*upidest chapter ever. Listen, you could've long fired this head maid, denied everything she said, told her she was a mental case for thinking possession is possible and you definitely should be protecting your maid who spoke sense in your defense. Instead, you can never process what's happening EVER, letting the abuse happen, then yelling after. MC, off yourself. I don't know why people in the comments can endure this MC's sheer idiocy, but I can't. She's useless and full of random idiotic thoughts that waste time and never get to the issue at hand. A toddler is better than her in every way. I'm done here. The only thing this had going for itself was certain unique plot points and setting creativity. Author needs to work on everything else though, cause it's a mess and clearly not worth bearing with its weaknesses for. Weak start, DNF.

Ch. 08: I dropped this cause it's tr*sh and then I read the spoilers and realised this is probably the worst story ever written. Author has to be some kinda unempathetic psycho to not realise how horrifying this story is, wow. ML was done so dirty, I don't even know where to begin. Poor ML, forced by author to love the least likeable, least forgivable person on the earth. First, let's talk about why I dropped this and then, after, why I evaluated it as the worst thing ever written. Look, I regret so hard that this author made me sympathise even a second with MC. I've only read 8 chapters, but that's enough for... more>> me to know MC been living up his own tight hole for too long, that he thinks himself the embodiment of virtue and everyone else is tr*sh and a sinner. 

+ When ML made his first real accomplishment in the game, MC made it his mission to show up in front of ML to publicly ridicule him and tell ML he doesn't deserve praise for any of his accomplishments. It wasn't scolding so don't come with that bull. MC is a jealous freak and deserves nothing he has. Do you know how MC justified being outright cruel? That he didn't want ML to get a big head and it's the duty of a leader. WHAT? I got so nauseous, I couldn't believe it. As I continued to read, what I believed to be MC's character kept being reaffirmed. The way MC didn't care for himself and expected others to do it for him or the way MC talked about others and their looks. He's so stuck-up, egotistical, demeaning and self-righteous in the worst way I've seen to date. MC be like, "Do you hate me that much?" Bro, if you treated me half as bad as this, just know I will get revenge and it won't be this s*upid inconsequential, almost nice revenge that ML is getting on you. I would make you understand what real suffering is, since you clearly never have before.

+ MC is the epitome of self-absorbed, vile, privileged, pretentious and condescending. So I dropped it cause MC was flaming tr*sh and I knew it would get worse. Since I dropped it, I decided to read the spoilers and guess what? I learned I was right. MC got worse and worse. Truthfully, I don't know how credible these reviews and spoilers are and have no way to verify their accuracy since I will not be continuing this story, so take the rest of this rant with a grain of salt. People in the comments could be lying or trolling or have heavily misconstrued opinions under prejudiced perspectives for all I know. I just know, under my own prejudiced perspective, I believe this spoiler. Keep in mind, from the 8 chapters that I read, MC hasn't apologised for anything that he did to ML and refuses to do so at all cause in his words, 'I did the right thing as a leader' and from 'do you hate me that much?' in response to ML's very mild revenge, MC clearly thinks ML is exaggerating his pain and that MC himself didn't do anything to really deserve any of this revenge, resentment or hatred. 

+ Now, from my understanding of the spoilers that I'm choosing to believe, MC found out ML was online betting to make money, confiscated the money and kicked ML out the club without even trying to listen to any justification, because MC FELT BETRAYED. WHAT. You felt betrayed and only your feelings matter? Sounds just like you. MC later found out the money was to save ML's DYING MOTHER and still refused to give back the money. WOW. Throw yourself off a cliff. It gets worse. ML's mother dies. She dies. SHE'S LITERALLY DEAD AND IT'S LITERALLY MC'S FAULT. Now, think back to what I mentioned before. MC doesn't apologise ONCE cause he thinks he did the RIGHT thing, he has justification for being a good leader and he doesn't think he did anything too bad to get hated by ML 'this much', when ML's revenge is the most insignificant revenge I've ever heard of that doesn't even match the crime. Listen, if I found out that something I did directly led to the parent of someone I care about DYING, I'd be depressed and I'd probably off myself from the insane guilt. My bro isn't even sad and doesn't think it's his fault. My bro can still look ML dead in the eye, guilt-free. What's a conscience? MC has certainly never heard of it, this psycho. If someone did this to me, do you know, I'd make it my life's mission to make sure that person's life is a living hell? That's the ONLY reasonable response but author totally didn't get that message AT ALL. 

+ Instead, the author makes the suffering ML fall in love with the most disgusting tr*sh of a character, makes ML act like a doormat and save MC while also caring about MC like a s*ave, and ML's so-called retaliation for how terrible MC has been to him, how MC practically killed his mother and how MC ruined his life over so-called morals and values, was to be slightly inconvenient to MC and sometimes humiliate MC. WHAT. This author must be the worst human alive, did something close to unforgivable like this and must be seeking validation through her writing like this. That's the only way you can not see how inhumane this is. Like, sure, I indirectly caused his mother's death, but he should still fall in love with me and be willing to be my s*ave that waits upon my hands and feet, while I have nothing to change about myself or apologise for cause I'm flawless. Let's not talk about how MC isn't in the least forgivable, but to begin with, there's nothing about his character that's even remotely likeable, so to make ML in love with him is a testament to how unhinged and self-fulfilling this plot is. It's a complete stretch to believe ML would be capable of tolerating MC, much less liking, respecting or being in love with MC. Crazy. The fact that the spoilers point out that the MC doesn't change and experienced no character development at all makes me certain I'm right. Author, go apologise for whoever's life you royally screwed up and keep apologising, you remorseless psycho. Grow a conscience or a heart or human decency or empathy. Instead of writing, spend some time being introspective, grow up a bit and try to change your many glaring flaws. Stay guilty and carry that on your back for the rest of your life. Ch. 12: I just seriously hate MC. On the contrary, I like the homophobic ML. He's a genuinely nice guy. MC though, is so wishy-washy, plastic and contradictory, and I don't care what tragic backstory led up to his personality being this way. It is the way it is and I happen to hate what it is. MC is supposedly kind, considerate and mellow and has strict boundaries with others. ML tried to ask for MC's WeChat twice to extend goodwill and ease tension, but MC interrupted ML twice mid-sentence to shut it down. No one kind or considerate interrupts another while they're speaking, especially if they're being courteous and not hostile. One of my... more>> pet peeves is people interrupting me while I speak and being hella inconsiderate. It literally pissed me off to no end. MC, for a person with no emotions, EQ or energy to spend thinking about others, somehow still loves to judge people and loves to assume yet never gets anything right about anything. MC guesses ML blushing and his ears turning red all the time is cause ML is UNHAPPY and it's the h*mophobia??? I've never seen a true homophobe [read: not heavy in denial and deep in the closet] blush at a queer. Do I even need to say this man is the most idiotic kind of wrong I've ever come across? 

+ For a person nonchalant and unfeeling, MC's joke about 'bending ML' at the beginning not only didn't fit into the context or flow of the phone conversation and was so random, it was also needed to create the misunderstandings and non-existent 'rift' between MC and ML. The random boast in jest of bending all men doesn't even align with MC's supposed character to say something like that to begin with. For someone nonchalant, who maintains boundaries and doesn't care too much about others, saying to a grown man who's good at games and was doing well even in danger, ". . don't be afraid . . . I'll protect you" while playing a mobile game is ridiculous and I don't know how the author imagined that rubbish cause it would've happened if the author was thinking logically. ML didn't ask for help, didn't express any distress or anything, played strategically, knowing when to trade his life for an achievement and was doing well pushing towers in the game for his first time, which could be attributed to how good he is at other games, so why the infantilising condescending tone? Where was the distance and strong boundaries I was promised? It was so gross and absurd, I got goosebumps. Ain't no way the author thought this was something their character would say, someone would like to hear or something that fit the characters and situation. It was so out of the blue and unromantic and in no way would prompt a sparkly romantic development for ML. I'm not sure the author has a concrete idea for this character. It's just all over the place to force both a 'hate relationship' that doesn't exist and a romantic 'heartbeat' scenario that is contrived and unnatural as hell. Other than being out of character a lot of the time, being unfeeling, judgemental and rude, I think MC is also just spineless when it comes to his mother, which just adds to how irritating I find him. I've also read a plot very similar to this so there's no points for creativity or originality. Weak start, start, possible weak finish.

Ch. 15: So now I hate ML just as much? He's very gay, very self-absorbed, very self-conscious, very narrow-minded, very idiotic, very gross, very delusional, very much in denial and homophobic for the s*upidest reason known to mankind. I hate everyone here. I just know the payoff will not be worth chapters upon chapters of enduring this while injuring my poor IQ. Bye. Weak start, DNF.

Ch. 15: I really don't know why my notes keep getting deleted. I know for a fact I went on a tangent about this novel and its annoying foreigner stereotypes and that someone should be teaching Chinese and Japanese people how foreigners act cause I don't know one person in the west that just goes around telling people they met the day before that they love them (seriously or jokingly), cause personally I don't even say that to family, but here I am 3x more annoyed cause my original comment is gone and I have to rave AGAIN for no reason. I think I raved about the fact I don't tell anyone I love them at all cause as far as I know, that's the norm and the only one I told that to was my ex and that was a lie from 10 years ago cause I felt guilty I didn't want to kiss him when he had tried cause I didn't want to cause I didn't think he was attractive and I was just scared of him (third reason I recently figured out: I'm gay). Also, while China has a billion people, it's crazy to be generalising ALL the other 7 BILLION people on the earth but only know Europe and America. The other thing I ranted about should be that they always comment about foreigners being forward and direct in speech, which I don't get considering the scathing, fake and rude ish I be reading in some of these novels, but I digress. They state we're direct to the point of rudeness or fallacy in our compliments, critiques, likes, dislikes, preferences, boundaries and other things, but bro, their culture and manner of speech mandated the creation of the term 'green tea' and whole 'misunderstanding' plot tropes for a reason??? If that's not rudeness, fallacy, s*upidity and a waste of time, I don't know what is. I won't say anything about nunchi, EQ and appropriate personal distance since I find that hard to navigate myself (and people from any culture or country would, China included) but my point remains. Weak start, possible strong finish.

Ch. 25: MC is an extremely, extremely annoying, flighty, wishy-washy, difficult individual. I wish ML the best cause I could never.

Ch. 26: Does MC have some kind of communication disorder? He makes EVERYTHING 10x more complicated and difficult and confusing than it needs to be, it's ridiculous. This is so frustrating to read cause MC is the cause of every single problem and the terrible way he explains things, his tendency to hide details that don't make sense to conceal or the fact his brain can't understand anything, even the simplest things, makes the ML look bad in every scenario, when MC's the one at fault. I feel so sorry for ML. Imagine being flirted with by your crush, being taken on dates with your crush, your crush preemptively tells you he's taking you out to confess to you, you're still caught unprepared, your crush confesses with a lot of thought, money and effort and you reply by not replying at all and crying as if you'd just been threatened instead, and when your crush thinks you're ill-prepared for a relationship and suggests a trial period for your sake and not his, your proceed to question, doubt and resent your crush, feeling aggrieved.
