SHH! I can’t get over the fact it’s too short! Anyways tons of dog food was thrown over me and I really like it! Don’t take my reciew seriously, it’s from my own opinion and I really like how YanXiaoming is so thoughtful about MaiDong but still I know for you atleast if you read this, it has a little bit of shortcomings but for me, unless it’s sweet and fluffy, I reconsider it.

This story is a perfect example of an unreliable narrator, and it really is such fun watching MC realize that he's not as ordinary as he thinks in other people's eyes! I wondered at first why there wasn't a "protagonist falls first" tag added and after reading, I would say that while it could definitely apply to some extent, it's also not too applicable either? Don't want to spoil so read to find out~

Prepare yourself for the embarrassment you will feel reading this because I swear... the way I had... more>> to physically take breaks from reading this story because of the sheer amount of second hand embarrassment and internal screaming it produced in me. I personally wanted to also dig a hole and hide with MC when ML was reading his diary lol. ML really loves to tease MC and MC's reactions every time are just so unbearably cute, with his constant blushing and overthinking.

MC doesn't have any big trauma from his childhood, but he does have a lot of small experiences that have shaped his behavior down to the present day. His backstory does a really good job of explaining his current perspective on relationships and people, and he's really such an interesting character! Also to add to the lack of dog blood in this story, being gay is totally normal in this world-

MC's mom is even the person to tell him that boys can like boys too. You really don't get to see such supportive parents in BL that often so it was a nice surprise!

It's a short and super fluffy read, with a great translation and likable protagonists. I had such a fun time, definitely recommend! <<less
