FL is simply amazing, being both strong and smart. My favorite aspect of this novel is definitely the friendship that FL had with her childhood friends who are also strong in their own ways and highly likable (and since it's an age progression type of novel, we get to see the process/development of them becoming close friends which I utterly loved). She loves and cares for them deeply and they return that same level of love and care too. For once, we get some really good female friendship (Fei Yan is awesome!). Heck I'd read a whole novel with just their friendship (and throw the whole ML away lol).  <<less

In this one, ML and FL grew up together and we get to actually see the progress/development of their relationship as they grow from strangers to friends to sort of lovers and eventually to him sending her to her death (not spoilers, the story started with FL as a ghost) when he assigned her to lead a war (despite her having zero experience in warfare). The novel is in a way a slow burn since it first depicted the sweet and wholesome moments to get us attached to ML and FL and their relationship and then hits us with the angst (despite us already knowing that FL is a ghost). What is interesting is that despite this being a tragedy tag, the ML isn't a total tr*sh (well for me he wasn't, perhaps it helped that I read this after Deposed Empress General and in comparison to MY, any ML wouldn't look so tr*shy lol), but he simply didn't appreciate FL enough and prioritized that girl who he thinks brought him the soup that one time (his white moonlight essentially) over her 20 years or so of companionship. However the moment he heard that she was suspected dead, he regrets it hard. 

My favourite aspect (aside from the childhood friendship parts which I utterly loved), was that FL did try to move on (multiple times in fact) but she just couldn't. At least she tried. Other than that, I like that the FL is actually capable (she became an official) and strong (individual martial arts wise) and while they don't seem to like her initially, there were characters who actually appreciated this side of her and perhaps even fell for her (if only she knew). However in the end, as a ghost, FL was finally able to resolve her feelings and move on.

I do like the extra tidbit that the white moonlight "lookalike" wasn't depicted as evil and also moved on from him (because yes, she deserves better too). Since the FL is dead, there wasn't any harem schemes whatsoever, it's basically just ML digging his own grave.

This novel probably has the most ruthless FL compared to the rest although it wasn't deeply delved on. FL has no qualms on killing or using underhanded methods to win.  <<less

Yet again I showcase my love for age progression type of novels

In this one, FL is yet again strong and smart, almost to the level of Mary Sue, and basically has a savior complex (mainly for unintentionally collecting harem members purposes lol). And of course she is really dense (typical of reverse harem protagonist) (I thought it wasn't too bad though, like when they were being really obvious, she did feel like there is something there but wasn't sure, also when SML confessed she clearly rejected him though of course he still insisted on chasing her afterwards). What I do like however is that despite being genuinely kind, she can kill/be ruthless when necessary. FL has zero interest on love/harem games but if you wanna play it with her, then she can and will utterly crush you at it. I can see why these MLs fell for FL (I mean if anyone did what FL did for them, they would fall for that person too).

The main ML is a whole yandere, and a pretty extreme one at that. In fact all her harem members are yanderes but to different degrees (ML is the most extreme, SML is right behind him, then the rest). I think those who like yanderes or the stories with tags such as possessive love/obsessive love/devoted love interest/love interest falls first would like this story. Additionally also the cold to everyone but warm towards FL. 

The daddy-daughter relationship in this novel is probably my favorite part and also a complex one in a way. He does love her a lot and dotes on her (so many sweet wholesome moments, I like!) but at the same time he pressured and feared/is wary of her due to her ability to make bombs (and her refusing to hand it over to him since she knew that doing so caused a catastrophe in her last life). I like that despite the emperor being a daughter-con, he still has other feelings/thoughts which makes their dynamic slightly more complex. I also liked that the MC is aware of this and described it well (that the emperor does love her but he also feared her). Sometimes I wonder why her EQ can be so high but she can also be so dense in regards to romance matters. 

Other than that, the early part of the story which depicted the friendship built between her and the ML during their stay in the cold palace was nicely done as well.  <<less

Yet another age progression type novel! I think that's the trope I am weak for lol. We also get another amazing FL who is smart (not strong but that isn't necessary here so...) 

The first modern times novel in this list! This one has a lot less angst and a lot more wholesome. The focus is primarily on the relationship development between FL (and to a lesser extent FL's twin brother too) and her dad

I absolutely loved the relationship between FL and her twin brother. Both love and deeply care for each other (sis-con and bro-con lol) (don't worry this isn't in*est, it's purely a sweet siblings relationship which makes sense considering their circumstances where they only have mainly each other to rely on) and the readers can clearly see this in their thoughts and little actions for each other.  Even in the original timeline, they were both really close to each other. Heck I love that the FL's main reasoning of looking for their dad is that she doesn't want her brother to have a bad ending, and I like that her brother is protective over her. 

Though of course the main spotlight of this novel is her relationship with her dad that grows from him being disgusted/her only planning on using him to both genuinely caring for each other (he became a daughter-con lmao). It was utterly wholesome and sweet and I love it.

Honestly though, my favourite aspect of this novel is her relationship/chats/dynamic with 4v which were mostly comedic/funny (4v is chaotic while MC is the straight man lol)  yet also had it's own wholesome moments. I really really really liked their dynamic as friends and even shipped them (but my ship sunked haha) (at least they remained friends and the author clarified that 4v only considered her as a friend/little sister of sorts). 

On a side note, the side story is also really sweet! It depicts an alternate timeline where the dad in the original novel woke up from his coma with memories of this timeline and thus looked for the daughter and son and saved them. I like the reversal in this one since in this timeline our MC is the one looking for him and in that one, he is the one looking for them. It's intense (the opening is pretty angsty since the MC in the novel timeline was already in a bad state) yet very sweet/wholesome with a somewhat open ending (and no romance haha)

I recommend this for WWMAP fans if your favourite aspect of that novel/manhwa is Claude-Athy's relationship.  <<less

Yet again, another age progression. And yet again, another awesome FL! Athy is smart in her own way (though not the most amazingly smart) and also very cute lol. I find her extremely likable. 

Of course the best, most favourite, and most spotlighted part of this story is the development of Athy and Claude's daddy-daughter relationship. With the dash of angst and a lot of sweet and wholesome moments, I love it! 

While the manhwa barely spotlighted it, I also like the comfortable dynamic between Athy and Lucas. And that they are endgame ship lol.

We get to see the relationship progression of her and her new dad, as well as with her new brothers. While all are sweet and wholesome (with the typical, cliche, yet my absolute favourite cold to daughter/sister-con type of progression lol) with a dash of angst, the most memorable one for me is definitely the one with the brother whom she saved/helped from being abused by his teacher. On that note, I also liked that the tried to improve not only her own relationship with them but also their relationship (the dad-son relationships), it's a nice touch for me.  <<less

Again we get an awesome FL who while not necessarily strong, is extremely smart/cunning/can be utterly ruthless when necessary. And again we get an age progression type of novel so we get to see FL/MC grow up and also her relationship development with the ML. Additionally we also get some female friendship (and both got their own love interests!) and some male friendships (bromance!) and even sweet family moments. Oh and also hints of reverse harem (though the romance primarily focused only on FL/ML, FL did have other guys interested in her)

However for some reason I felt that this novel had a much slower start compared to the rest which had an intense start and I was close to dropping it within the first 10-20 chapters. I only persisted because it was recommended and the high ratings. Thankfully it did get better! Still though compared to the rest, I wasn't as into this novel despite both ML and FL being awesome, I have no idea why neither.   <<less

First of all, I like that the MC just wants the MLs for their well how to say this er... Ah! To fulfill her missions so she doesn't have to experience the punishments given by the system, no emotional connection/attachment whatsoever yet at the same time somehow I find her pitiful instead of ruthless lol. Perhaps because the novel depicted the system's punishments and MC's pain and desperation over it (she just wants to be free from it...). I did feel a bit bad for the police officer though 

The MC isn't particularly smart but I don't find her to be immensely dumb neither (I still lol-ed at the moment where she ran away from both the CEO and the doctor lmao). Either way since emotions aren't focused on, we don't overthink it. The harem members are pretty run-of-the-mill and cliches, but we get a good variety of them. 

Either way if you are looking for wholesome romance with good relationship development, or some semblance of a strong plot, look elsewhere. But if you're just looking for a fun to read with a lot of well described smut then this is the one.  <<less

Yet another age progression type of novel! The FL in this one isn't as awesome, but she's not bad! At least I didn't facepalm

Loved the relationship progression between her and her dad! I think Castiel probably got the best character development lol. I also liked her relationship with the bodyguard. 

Dislike the romance bit, it literally came out of nowhere. Sometimes I even think she only got together with him because he literally looks like the mini version of the bodyguard (both have white hair and a pretty-type face) and I still have no idea how did he fall for her (literally none, not even the really typical cliche "she is interesting").

Sometimes I question my morals as I actually shipped her with the bodyguard but then their age difference and the fact that he technically helped raised her from when she was young is kind of disturbing but yet I liked them together. What is wrong with me gah <<less

Ah this one. So messed up yet so addictive. Definitely fits the guilty pleasure title of this list lmao. This novel is a combination of male yanderes (extreme level) + Stockholm syndrome. FL is genuinely kind (the start of this novel is actually pretty sweet and wholesome and I get why the MLs fell for her) but even she got slightly messed up by the end of the story. She tried killing herself, escaping, failed multiple times, succeeded one time but got chased and found in the end, and then finally eventually gave up. We get to see the process of her falling deeper into the Stockholm syndrome. She is not particularly smart but I don't particularly dislike her. 

The MLs (the twins) are psycho-level yanderes with slight abusive tendencies (thankfully they stop early on after she nearly died and was pretty badly injured from the multiple forced drowning) and confinement tendencies (MC got confined in a sort of bas**ent in their house). Since they are extra rich and powerful and they threaten MC with her family's safety, MC can't even do anything against them (like run to the police or something). Or well she tried some things but it only made it worse. Early on we basically mainly felt MC's desperation of her situation (and wondering what went wrong since she really just considered and treated them genuinely nicely as "little brothers"). Later despite the brothers being psycho, they are also sweet wholly devoted lovers who really spoil the MC a lot, and you start questioning your morals as you actually started liking them lmao. Similarly the MC starts falling for the brothers too despite everything. 

All in all, it's a messed up but highly addictive story with some spicy well described smut. If you like Tyrant's Pet for the ML's yandereness and the intensity of his love for FL and then take away his last line of respect for the FL, then this is it. The MLs here fit the tag of male yandere (to the extreme level hence the twisted personality tag)/devoted love interest/love interest falls first/obsessive love/possesive love. And also the cold to everyone but FL (one of the brothers is friendly but shows no romantic interest to anyone but FL, the other is just cold to everyone but FL).  <<less

Yet another age progression type novel! And in this one we see the perspective of the (slightly yandere) male lead instead of the female lead which is always refreshing. 

Our FL, Bertia, is the dumb but lovable type. If I were to equate her to someone, it would be Bakarina from Hamefura. She's dense and oblivious but also energetic, kind and pure. Personally, since this is a light fluffy read type of novel with low stakes, it's easy to like her and she makes it an entertaining comedic read. 

The best part of the story for me though is the MC, our prince Cecil who finds his fiancee, the FL, Bertia "interesting" (I've lost count of how many times I have seen this word in this genre of stories, but at least here I do agree that Bertia is interesting) and decides to do an observation record of her (this novel). Cecil's deadpan, logical and chill remarks of Bertia's antics truly makes the humor of this novel shine. 

Lastly I like that while the OG heroine of this novel can't be categorised as good, she isn't outright vile/evil and the hint towards a potential character development at the end of the main arc is nice. I'd like to think that after the novel ends, she would get her own happy ending too with the bird.

Overall it's a nice light fluffy read~ <<less
