Be aware, if the novel isn't tr*sh, it takes a lot for me not to like a Chinese Historical Novel. Btw, you might find one or two unusual participants in this list but it is probably because I have enjoyed the novels or many elements in it.

Got bored, so I figured I'd make a list of some of my favourite novels. They're not ranked in any particular order, though the ones I like more will probably be nearer the beginning of the list. ... more>>

Most of these novels will no doubt be familiar, it's unlikely for there to be any hidden gems here. This isn't really meant to be a list of recommendations, more of just me wanting to put some thoughts down regarding novels I like. That being said, if you want to read them (if you haven't already) because of this list that's your prerogative.

I just noticed the somewhat obvious lack of KR and JP novels. Nothing against them, I just don't like the endings for most KR novels, or I just haven't finished them. I'm not that big a fan of JP novels either, dunno why.

A small generic reminder: This list is just my personal opinion, I cannot guarantee that all (if any) of these are any good, and I encourage anyone who decides to read them to form your own opinion on them. <<less

Fluffy romance, BL and BG? Cool. Silly satire? Love it. Foodie p*rn? Give it to me, daddy. Sweet, sweet face-slapping? Smack that b**** up. 2nd... more>> time around? No regrets. Body-snatching? Only the industrious need apply. Semi-historical dog-blood nonsense? Right this way, Mary Sue. Is there anything you won't read? DBZ enlightenment grinding to godhood. Ultimately unsatisfying. Relationship grinding is okay though. What can I tell you? Love triangles are a no-go. <<less
