The ML was just a dream come true, and I could practically feel the FL's pain. I need to give her a hug. Actually, all of them need hugs. The whole "green-eyed people" thing was very, very interesting-----this is one of my top novels that I'd personally recommend. And the 'do your best and regret' part came into play really well. Satisfying.

This is a comedy so obviously don't take it too seriously, but it's SO funny ISTG. The ML is also so whipped it's adorable. also, 'misunderstanding' is SUCH A UNDERSTATEMENT THE ML IS SO DELUSIONAL ITS HILARIOUS. shes so perfect. shes so wonderful. I love her. She's just trying to survive out here and accidently makes the crown prince (?!!??) fall for her- they're so cute together ugh

If anyone can recommend me more novels like this, I'd literally kiss you

Also, my personal opinion; them knowing eachother in childhood was a plot twist that was not needed. was it cute? sure. was it also unnecessary? yes. i mean sure it kinda explains ML's feelings, but he doesnt even know that shes that childhood friend so like it doesnt make sense :/

The struggles of the royally being shown was realistic, but really horrified me...like the having-child-at-sixteen-from-a-40-something-year-old, the eating disorders....ugh it makes me sick. <<less

I love this so much, I'm speechless. The FL is realistic, humorous, and so full of personality, determination, strength, etc. But it's not the type of FL that pisses you off with their decisions. A strong FL, who knows her worth and takes no one's shit, but also has her limitations that make you feel sympathetic and like you're there with her. I just love her.

And the ML?? most realistic ML everrrrrr. Probably in my list of TOP THREE FAV MLS from all the novels I've read. I don't know how to explain, but he's just so....yk?? His relationship with FL quite literally makes me question if someone out there like this actually exists. He's also more than a handsome face (which I like, because in most novels, the only personality traits the ML has is 'good looks', and 'possessive', which just icks me off because, well....boring.), and I love his banters with FL. He's so hesitant on love, and on multiple occasions, holds back his love for FL because he believes he's going to die. He wants to live longer to see the flowers that she was named after (sobbing), and find a way for FL to get remarried/live a good life after he dies, even if the thought makes him feel bitter (sobbing x2) (though he regrets ever saying this later on and FL teases him about this so much T◇T ). <<less
