Written mostly in the FL's viewpoint, the tinge of cynicism and sarcasm is enjoyable and fairly amusing. I like how the author keeps names hidden till the 'big reveal' (like we don't know FL/scum husband's first name till the divorce/downfall) and how she tries to make us guess who is the true ML (there were a few black-haired candidates).

The story is actually quite angst since Berylia literally died multiple times, but the author didn't make it feel dreary or depressing. There's a ton of events/drama, and while the middle portion (c50-90) were kind of filler-ish, the strong start and tear-jerking end more than made up for it.

There's an endgame ML, and it didn't feel like Annette was keeping them all in a fishbowl before she decided on 'him'. Light and fun enough to keep me laughing (or screaming), as well as to take my mind off the darker projects of mine haha. A bonus that this is easy to translate, save for a few slangs.
