I absolutely love the MC. I relate to him so much, warts and all, and his character development was very satisfying to read. And I could arguably say that the romance was very satisfying to read as well even though it took a while for the MC to get a clue. I feel like I have so much to say about this novel but I just can't put it into words at the moment. After reading this I was thinking about this novel for days afterwards. 4/5 stars: I was coming into this novel right after reading GHFOD so I was making some comparisons, but I got over it pretty fast. They're two completely different novels even tho they exist within the same universe and have some similarities in storytelling. It was really neat learning more about livestreaming and what that entails. To me it sounds pretty exhausting with so much pointless drama. But it was still fun to read and it was nice when the MC got the compuppance he deserves.  I really enjoyed seeing how the romance between the MC and ML developed throughout the novel. It felt like they both needed each other so much. Not in a... more>> co-dependent kind of way but more in a "you came into my life at a time that I needed you the most." It was very sweet seeing how they made each other happier. 

Although this was a great novel, I like GHFOD a lot more, mainly bc I think it made me laugh so much more than this one, even though it did have some funny moments. Plus I think I was more invested in the gaming in GHFOD than in PUBG (even though I did download the mobile app and got addicted for a few days). Overall though it was a fun read and I'm looking forward to this author's next work in this series.  <<less
