It's got everything, intrigue, mystery, thrilling fights, revelation after revelation. Just when you think that's all, there's a new plot twist.

Everything was rounded up nicely and there's no leaving the reader hanging or filling out some parts in their head.

Finally the MC and ML's love story is really beautiful, a love that spans lifetimes.

At first, I found it crazy that I was reading a danmei abt a person falling inlove with his another personality. Like what the... but I loved this. MC is OP, but

Not much of a worthy or helpful review but still wanted to express how I found this a good novel.

I feel bored after 3 arcs so I read the spoiler and I'm glad that I did. The plot unfolds the way I don't enjoy much. Some rants below:

• • That's not how multi personality works! Yeah, let's just say that they can freely switch but the body is still the same. How can fatigue go away just like that?!

• • I don't like Shen Yu (?) (the movie emperor guy) - Su Rong relationship. I don't know how it'll progress later but first impression, it doesn't seem to be a healthy one.

Wow! What a ride! And it had all the key elements too.... suspense, romance, thriller and shocking secrets too.

Ok starting off, this novel has the most.... unique love interest I've ever read. I mean I've read about literally everything, from werewolves to vampires to literally every fantasy creature out there. But ... more>>

This novel was not too long, not too short. Every arc grips your attention and there are clear cut villains and friends in the novel. MC is so clever and the way he figures out the answers to each arc is fascinating to read. ML is so supportive and loving. Though the romance is not so overwhelming in this novel, their love for each other is aspiring and gentle. The type of love you know is going to last for centuries and won't fizzle out fast.

The ending took me by surprise, in a good way, You think you can predict the ending then it literally throws a bomb at you.

I'm sad I waited so long to read this. I don't have many words to explain how good this was!

The horror stuff actually had scary parts and a lot of thriller moments. The instances were actually pretty new and refreshing compared to other novels of the same genre! There were so many creepy moments, but I loved reading them all (and I can't stand scary stuff istg). My favorite was definitely the movie/instance. So freaking cool. But the ones were amazing as well. It just kept getting better and better. The writing is so well-explained, and the author is absolutely creative with their story-telling. I really liked how the MC was written. He's OP sort of, but he still has struggles where he is weakened and cooperated with others (and not just rely on himself only or completely on ML). But of course, there's an explanation for why MC is OP. ML is also a good character.

Ngl, I did think it was weird for the pair to be between the "personalities." But I got used to it, and they're so freaking sweet to each other. Like I agree with the ghost audience. They really do compliment each other well. Speaking of the audience, their live commentary was relatable and cliche, but they also helped eased the tense and scary moments. And I also enjoyed the side ship! Thought they were toxic at first, but seems author changed the direction a bit; well, I'm glad for the change. So the romance overall was pretty good and well-paced too. Like the main pair made me feel comfortable as an outsider with their relationship. Idk how to explain it. I could feel their trust in each other for everything.

Oh, I just also mention the translations were amazing too! Easy to follow along to the explanations of what was going on in the instances.

I would absolutely recommend reading this!

edit: I also agree with another comment saying they kept putting off on reading the novel whenever it popped up for them, and maybe because of the cover page. And honestly, I think that's one of the reasons I was reluctant to start reading. The art is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but the skull and the roses with a pretty boy two faces seems cheesy. I just assumed the novel itself was also going to be cheesy and written for like youth adults style. Please don't also judge by the cover!

AHHH! WHAT A MASTERPIECE! Simply a perfect novel! Sometimes when novels are so good, you have no words to describe them, wells this is one of them. PER-FEC-TION! I really was not expecting it to be this good but it was AMAZING!

Honestly I don't even need to review it because I'm still lost for words about it just read other peoples reviewers! They say it all!

There's a girl x boy novel that has a similar concept called "Scream Queen" (which is actually really good too but not till this level... more>> and can be a bit draggy). This is everything "Scream Queen" lacks. It has plot and a goal. Every arc is AMAZING and because the length of the novel is on point (and there is an obvious ultimate goal), it isn't too draggy. Kudos to the author's amazing ability to think of such innovative and unique stories. The world building and set up of this novel was also 💯💯💯💯💯

Because each arc is so unique, our MC has to be BRILLIANT and he is! He is by far one of the smartest MC out there (he's out there with the MC in "The Earth is Online"). He is indifferent and ruthless yet he has so much personality about him. This novel is less about romance and character development and more world building and plot (? The plot wasn't the most intricate or climatic but it did have good flow and build up and was still interesting and unique). All loose ends were tied and the ending was satisfying!

Also side note (not a critique but just a thought), I just felt sorry for the antagonists/ side characters (that died) for most arcs. They died so meaninglessly (?) and cruely. I don't know why but their deaths just made me a bit uncomfortable (in an I-feel-sorry-for-them way because I felt that the punishments were too harsh? But it's just a feeling of pity nothing more). Maybe it's because the MC is so OP that I feel pity for the powerless side characters and their ultimate deaths (even though they had evil intentions) which is kinda weird since I'm usually indifferent about the antagonist's deaths. Maybe it's the way the author portrayed them (?). Also, I feel that the ultimate antagonist wasn't very villainy but had a very extreme ideology because of his life experience, but then again most villains are like that. Sigh.. All I can say is poor thing : (

Ultimately this is one of the best novel I've e read in the unlimited flow/ horror genre. Highly recommend for those who love the genre and a great world building. Not recommended for those looking for fluff and romance, character or relationship (lover and friends) buildup, or dog blood drama and intricate plot. <<less

the story focuses more on plot on the supernatural on the first few stories but it does show some background on MC, later on it will be more filled up with details.

so I suck in giving reviews but I can say. This story is good. With a perfect balance of flirting and also plot! I love how the horror story can be very touching and some really intriguing. You will also see how MC destroys his enemies with ML ho ho ho !

One of the best cnovels out there.

The author is so detailed with the games within the story. It actually made me tilt my head a lot, the amount of details put into it and all details are important for each game.

It really pulled me in and I couldn't stop reading it.

This novel draws you in. Very thrilling. I'll admit, sometimes I didn't understand what was going on, but that's ok, it was exciting enough that I didn't care lol. A story I'd like to re-read.

I totally forgot about this but it's because of my personal life. I really believe this is good so I recommend it. One of my favourite horror related novels I've read in the past few years. Really recommend checking it out if you have any interest in horror or world hopping novels. Each arc is unique and has a cool sense of mystery. It feels like the author ~gets horror movies and does a great job writing a variety of types of horror.

The main character is fun to read about. Very intelligent and morally grey, but willing to look out for those who are kind to him. I love the power couple... more>> thing he and his secondary personality/boyfriend have going on.

One of my favourite novels..I liked everything about it.. the plots and twists are on a different level.. the main couple is cute and powerful.. and side couple is also very good.. The movies and their conclusions are also very different and very good Idea intresting... don't what to say but I completely fell with love with this novel..

Very interesting horror-themed danmei, recommended for readers interested in asian-type horror movies, with a lot of chinese myth and lore, fengshui, burial rites, chinese concept of heaven and hell etc... The author goes into a lot of details for each movie instance and each movie has a solid plot. But the highlight of this novel for me is the smart and rather uniqie MC with double personality, whose dearest wish is to find a body for his other personality... who is also his boyfriend! Holy fk I'm only on chapter 151 but this is so damn good.

(Premise: MC goes into different instances to gather points to make a body for his lover)

The plot, the characters, the writing, everything is so damn good it sucks you write into the story, and every single instance is so intriguing. When the plot of the instance takes a backseat, the interplay of the characters has you on the edge of your seat so you never get tired or bored.

So far as I've read up to chapter... more>> 151, every instance is well written and as new characters appear, they are well written and seem relevant to the plot of being a genetically modified pet (human trafficking for rich people...), where MC meets different people with different motivations that lead up to further discoveries of the main antagonist and has to fight to keep moving forward.

I'm also being shovelled in the face with dog food but I love it. Especially when the audience is also suffering along with me. Indeed one dog food moment when
