Xie Chi’s only dream is to one day embrace his lover.

In order to realize his dream, Xie Chi willingly bound with the Horror Movie Actor App. The app regularly releases horror movie notices such as Spirit in Red Clothes, Zombie Lovers, 1552 Haunted House, etc…

Selected actors will be placed in a real horror environment to survive.

On the first day of filming, the first male lead with a dirty personality blocked Xie Chi in the corner. “Follow me and I’ll help you be the second male lead.”

My fav novel!!! When I finished reading, I really reluctant to part with XingChi CP. My fav MC and ML so far!!! MC is so smart and ML is so amazing!!! I usually don't write reviews but I really really like this one!! At first, I thought this is just a horror novel and I usually don't read that theme of novel. But this one really surprised me. And translation!! Thank you for translated this kind of treasure ♡♡♡ I will really miss this one wu wu wu ㅠㅠ...

Initially I am not sure if I should read this novel because I think the summary is not inlined with my aesthetics. I love supernatural novel plus action or ghost story and I have read a lot of novel in regards to this themes. However I still keep this novel in mind to be read later on.

Since I have finished most of my bookmarks novel in the library, I came back to this Supernatural Movie Actor App. On first chapter, I already attract to the storyline. The first arc is... more>> like a ghost story with detective elements, I really love it. So, I keep on sticking to this novel and my adrenaline keep on pumping every action our MC takes. He's so OP and ruthless. I don't like the ruthless side cause I think I am like a virg*n Mary. But, our MC ruthlessness is very justifiable. Not all human have clean heart. Just like me, on the surface I can say or act like a virg*n Mary, but deep inside I am also a black-hearted person.

Another arc which was unforgettable and the most I love is the Hide and Seek short movie. Whoever read this novel, please look forward into this. The thrilling feel really double triple thumbs up. Chio!!! Happy readings all.

I don't like death, especially in novels with good characterization, so I usually avoid unlimited flow type ones. This one is highly rated so I kind of forced myself to read it, and while I liked some of the stories and how MC handled stuff, I feel too much time was spent on movies, and not enough on the people. Like even after everything they kind of wrap up major plot in a few paragraphs.

For something so highly rated, it was a bit of a bummer. Probably going to avoid... more>> infinite flow unless the loss of life is explained in a way that doesn't make me sad. Or no real loss at all

which may be case with this one, they mention in passing that ghost audience is former players, but not what level actor you need to be to qualify. Still feel bad for poor cannon fodders. Like some wishes are literally wishing for normal mental health, you gotta feel bad if non-greedy people die.

5/5! This novel is good. If you want to read something like unlimited flow, horror, romance, yaoi, this is for you.

The dual personality and them being lovers adds a personal charm to this story.

It started with Xie Chi, the protagonist, who have dual personality, also his lover, called Xie Xinglan to have have his own body. He investigated mysterious occurrences and found out that 'something' mysterious is fulfilling wishes in exchange. The person who have an extreme desire will be missing for a time and some of them will comeback... more>> having their desires fulfilled. While the remaining ones, return to inexplicably die.

This is his only chance to gave his lover a body. He predicted that it will come to him soon. It did came to him and his journey starts there...

I won't tell anymore but this story is a MUST!! This story has horror, romance, puzzling IQ games, loyal friends, adversaries, and of course yaoi!! It's all you want, so give it a chance!! You won't regret it. <<less

This story is well thought out. The plot is solid. And the Messages schatterad through out the story thoughtprivoking without being preechy. The pacing is good and the side charachters and antagonists have personality and a bakgrund that ties in with how they behave.

overall a a very well written story.

I love this very much. This is the first BL novel that I have ever finish reading. Everything about this novel is just perfect for me. The plot is very interesting. I love MC and ML very much as well. While reading I can't help but think that the MC and ML are just too cute. The MC and ML are basically a brain+strength. Their relationship is something i'll like to have in real life but I'm a fictional character simp so its impossible. Even though its a horror story... more>> but I keep laughing so much because my brain somehow generates the scenes to become funny. I'm weird ¯_ (ツ) _/¯.

I think the author wrote this story well. (◕‿◕) When the MC was solving all the movies, my non-existent brain and brain cells were going all over the places. Every one of the movies had at least one twist that I did not expect.

This novel is super exciting! One of the most beautiful mystery novel I've ever read. This is actually my first time reading a Horror novel, at first I only read it because I got curious as our MC here have a split personality but I got hooked until the end!

So this story is about a pet, a human pet to be precise, Xie Chi (our shou) entering a Supernatural Movie Actor App wherein you'll have to earn points in order to achieve your long-time wish. This Supernatural Movie Actor App needs humans who have a strong will to achieve their wishes, they need to act as a character in a real horror movie and put their lives at risk to earn points and achieve their wish.

Xie Chi's wish is to get his other personality, Xie Xinglan (our gong), an independent body. From the very start of the novel, these two were already in an intimate relationship so, of course, they help each other in every horror movie. One is the brain and one is the brawn.

For me, their interactions were not weird. Even though they shares the same body, their adventure together is super exciting and also super sweet! And I'm telling you! You'll also rack your brains to solve the plots.

However, for those readers who already have high IQ and already used to racking their brains, might be disappointed to the plots as they thinks that the plots were only on an Intermediate level compare to other horror and mystery solving novels.

This novel includes profanities but there were no explicit details on s*xual terms/interc**rses/interactions.

I rate this novel 4.8 out of 5 stars. The novel is not that scary as it seems to be but if you have a weak heart and easily got nervous then I advise you to not read it at all.

I only highly recommended this novel to those readers who wanted to read something new, as our MC have split personality. To those readers who wanted a not so timid shou and a very strong gong! Also, I do not recommend this to those readers who might feel uncomfortable as our MC here falls inlove and gets into an intimate relationship with himself (his other personality, Xie Xinglan).

THE NOVEL HAVE A HAPPY ENDING FOR THOSE CHARACTERS WHO DESERVE IT

Another top caliber novel! Highly recommended!!!!

Both MC and ML's power couple, ML's very strong and MC's very smart. They're very sweet and cute!

The funniest and best part was the ghost moviegoers, they're hilarious!!!! Story 10/10

You would think sharing the same body is a bit weird- but to be honest it's actually really nice because they're always together! It feels like the MC and ML are stuck together, can ask for help from each other and look after one another all the time! An honest established relationship... I think this is quite refreshing to read, the process of dog food is very sweet.

This novel is heavily theologic, the MC walks you through different rationales and schools of thoughts in order to solve and think through problems. Rather than basing arcs solely on subjects (i.e. history, art, math) - it's more like a philosophy class where you don't have to have knowledge of a specific field -you only need to use logic and open your mind to different schools of rationale. He has to have an understanding of the rule/premise of the game, and then he works through logic to solve it. I find this very stable because the MC isn't all-rounded, he's just very sensible, quick-witted and has a sharp mind.

One of my only criticism is that all the side-characters - whether it's a follower or an antagonist, eventually has their IQ reduced for no reason/lose their cool and then become cannon fodder in a very similar manner to each other. Thus the challenge and competition factor is very monotone, it's just the protagonist going about his own way doing his own thing without caring much for others. Even characters like Ren Ze loses his initial appeal and become forgettable, Lu wen suddenly disappears and instead they are almost interchangeable with each other in terms of personality.

Another thing is, although the rule clearly stated (and is often repeated) that the actors can't kill each other - for some reason, after a while, they all end up fighting and killing each other? Many of the MC's opponents are killed off by the MC, so -- that's something to not think deeply about while reading

Overall it's a very easy going novel where you don't have to care much about any other factors other than the main MC collecting his points. The pace is consistent, so there's not a lot of up and downs except for when he's about to end a game. Everything is smooth sailing! So you can pick it up and read anytime and won't feel pressured about the plot. <<less

this novel is amazing!!! It can cause nightmares, but it’s super addicting-considering that I’m someone that hates reading horror themes.

this novel has a lot of thrill, with plots like no other novels I’ve seen before. I finished reading this novel before going on to read other supernatural themed novels, and that seemed to be a huge mistake. With such high standards set after reading this novel, it is difficult to find any thrill while reading others, where other plots also seem to become much less exciting and more mundane.

something that I want to add, I love how the arcs are written in the way, such that the higher the level of movie filmed, the more meaning the movie teaches the audience. There seems to be some sort of meaning and lesson we all can learn from every arc, which is something that I don’t see in other novels.

Also, the cannibalism arc scared the sh*t out of me. HAHA beware!!

finally, I want to say the narcissism part of this novel, where one falls in love with themself is like the icing on the cake. <<less

An amazing read. Good for horror lovers, however the ghosts may haunt you in your dreams like they did to me.

The story, plot and characters are all pleasantly good. The story had substance to it and layers, and there was a lot of good foretelling (that isn't really easily noticed but when it's pointed out it's feels really s*upid to not have noticed it). The different arcs in the story were all really well laid out and there are quite a lot of plot twists, so even if you know... more>> how OP the MC and ML are you can't help but get nervous for them. The ghosts and horror atmosphere is amazing, I got scared reading this alone even while in the afternoon lol. The characters are the best thing. In a lot of infinity flow novels, somehow the protag is "smart" because all the other characters are dumb. In this case, there are quite a different varieties of characters, from s*upid ones to smart ones, but the dumb ones aren't there to "smart" up the MC, they're there as an actual character (that will probably die really quickly). There are also actual people that are almost on par with the MC, and it doesn't feel like the "strong" people are completely dumb shits compared to the MC (my English sucks but what I mean by this is that the strength of the characters make sense, and there are actual people who can compete with the MC in different ways (strength, wits), although the MC is better than them. The characters have depth to them, including most of the side characters that don't die immediately.

This novel is terrific and terrifying at the same time, and it was a fun read. I'd definitely recommend this, but consider reading it with someone else around you instead of at 3am by yourself... it's quite scary. <<less

(5/5) Reading this makes me hyped, watching the MC and ML team up together to solve horror movie plots. It's just fun watching a genius protagonist that's actually a genius, not just all talk. The horror movie plots are fresh and interesting. It kept me hooked until the end. The MC and ML are in a relationship so there isn't a misunderstanding clock blocking their relationship. Kyaaa!!!! Oh my mama!! It was amazing❣️❣️

A solid 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First of all I'm an idiot. I found this book while I was reading the Horror heartthrob, king's game and so on. But, having been reading too many horror ones I developed a shadow. So, even though I wanted to read this novel, I always kept stopping.

Finally, I started, mark my words, I completed it in 2 days binge reading, even though I didn't have much time on hand (otherwise I would have completed it much sooner). I really wanna rap my... more>> previous self's head and give it a through preaching.

Let me tell you it was a jem, unlike anything I have heard or read. The summary gave me an odd feeling and it kind of stopped me from reading this novel. But when I did it amazing how it explores everything.

I don't think their were any/many plot holes since I didn't notice them. I wish their were few more extras for the side characters and their stories

MC oh my god!!! I have seen all kinds of MC, both male and female, who have all ranges of Character, black bellied, domineering, shocking, OP, Crazy... etc. you name it. But Xie Chi, I really don't know how to describe. His IQ is like above the godly charts and paired with his other half, Xie Xianlang they are too OP. One is Godly smart other is Super Strong. But, the thing is they are not always omnipotent, they are amazing. Through the novel you can see the subtle growth. They are not like BAM OP, BAM figured out, BAM killed the enemy. Rather they have time they can't figure out or get really hurt, but they are so ahead of everyone. But they never stop, MC's is always thinking.

In few arc's when I tried to figure things out I felt so s*upid, SOOO ASHAMED OF MY IQ.

But I love this couple to death.

It is a story which explores hearts, desire, obsession, will, strength and what you are willing to give up and face to achieve what you Wish for. The Horror App is the medium that directs and connects these people with their obsession.

Xie Chi who has a sub-personality, Xie Xianlang. They have been together for more than 12 year until they fell for each other 3 (?) Yrs ago. So for his lover, he does everything to get him a body. So, as he finds out about the app, he figures that it will find him as well, since he has a wish he is willing to do so much for.

The story explores past, present, and a future. The dark truth his identity holds. An Enemy hiding in the mass, out to get him. Another past connected to the Horror App. Friendship, loyalty, facing oneself, WISH.

Nothing in this world is free, everything has a + and -, everyone will pay for their wishes and obsessions.

So come and explore it. Most say "Watch what you WISH for but here "Can you pay for your WISH"

This is a beautifully depicted dark novel. It is a happy ending. I recommend it to everyone!!

who is the son and father in end!!! Shen Ye come out and greet your father. Bro weren't you saying he had your genes and showing off!! In the end you are the one who had his genes and then got transferred to Xie Chi!!! Gosh I can't get over this messy Father and Son cycle!!!!!!

You are missing out if you don't read this story. I hate horror movies because I get paranoid and then can't sleep at night, but I loved this. I can only bow down to the author's creativity here. Maybe I haven't read many horror themed novels so they might all be common tropes, but they're spun in insane ways. The plots grow more and more intricate. Each arc is not only horror, but a mystery. There's a strong sense of pressure and tension, and especially later on there were layers... more>> upon layers of trickery and red herrings and misdirection. Xie Chi is adorable and OP, but not excessively so that it seems cheap. I love his interaction with ML and their trust and reliance on each other.

Each arc not only provides horror, mystery, and dog food, but also reveals a philosophy. What is reality? What is justice? They reveal the flaws of human behavior, and the suffering that results once you sink into greed. Beautiful story. <<less

So, firstly I’m not gone lie and say this was the most confusing selfcest I’ve ever read..... however I loved it dearly. I’m not to knowledgeable on DID or the ins and outs of the different alters, but looking at this from a purely entertainment pov, it was really interesting and I enjoyed the different movie plots.

each plot was more exciting than the last and I was constantly trying to see if I could grasp the overall plot and muster behind each movie — needless to say, my IQ is... more>> certainly not up to the task lmfao. I was oftentimes on the right track but several steps behind and the plots were always far more complex than I expected them to be.

anyway, overall the only con I really have for this is that I felt like the second cp shen yi and su quing didn’t actually feel like a couple — initially shen yi was so harsh on him and though I ultimately understood his desire to keep him at arms length, I wondered how anyone could be willing to wait year after year for a person that treats them like that, but I was glad he explained it somewhat.

I’d definitely recommend this to any and everyone. it was really good <<less

I'm loving this! The story and world setting are unique. It's truly a horror story! One of the best horror theme in novel updates. If you want a romance, this one is not for you.

The MC, Xie Chi and his lover, Xie Xinglan are in one body. Yes! Xinglan is MC's another personality. MC is the brain, and ML is the brawn. They're so perfect together.

MC is so OP that there's a sense of security, but he's not looking down to other people.
And I love how the writer not shoving the fact that the MC is OP in our face.
He has his struggles, challenges, working very hard, and I truly enjoy the journey of him finding a way to solve the mystery. I'm so proud of him, hha.
Dear writer, you did a very well job!!

Each arc is unique and keep getting better. Always has past pace, packed plot, thrill, action, mind wrecking, horror, plot twist, mystery solving, and satisfying ending.

A really fun and interesting novel! The MC and ML are split personalities with MC being the main personality. They act like brothers but are lovers. The games are entertaining and kinda creepy but I enjoyed. The explanation behind their existence was ok, I was expecting smth else.

While reading this, I listened to Two Face by Jake Daniel's and it really helped set the mood. If you like to listen to music while reading, give it a try.

Two personalities fell in love it is gonna be weird butttt after I finished reading it I realised how wrong iam because it is not weird at all both MC and ML are sooooo goodddd sprinkling dog food here and there and each and every arc is awesome no wonder this novel is high rated... finally I just wanna say one thing, pleaseee read it

AH SO PERFECT! OH MY!

Honestly, when I saw the description and I learn that ML is the sub personality of MC made me laugh and my first though was not 'how weird' but 'what a narcissist!'. I mean, c'mon, who falls in love with their self even if it's a sub personality?. But reading the novel, I find that MC was not a narcissist, although he was a bit arrogant but I love him! I love ML too! I love all of them actually!

I am really sad that the novel... more>> is too short for me, I wish there were more extra chapters, especially with the 'father and son' AHAHAHAHA!! I wish there was an extra about the letter, when 'daughter-in-law' finds and reads it. I wish there were more chapters..
