One day, Zhang Chenfei met a car accident. Fortunately, he didn’t suffer any serious physical injuries. The thing that horrified his wife, Jiao Qi, was… the Smart Brain, Louis XIII downloaded a series of books which meant that his husband would turn into a different character each time!

How will our adorable little wife deal with this kind of husband who seemed to suddenly suffer from multiple personalities?

This novel’s plot focuses on Zhang Chenfei’s changing personality based from the characters in the books, and how his wife, Jiao Qi, deal with every character as he will have to act in sync with whoever his husband’s character is. This is per the advise of the private doctor since treatment of this special condition was still under research.

As they act out their roles, they will gradually discover and learn more about the other, which they’ve never known in their seven years of living together.

This is such a silly and goofy novel, with a lot of hilarious scenes and embarrassing moments. This is a laugh-out-loud kind of hilarious, and when you thought there's a sad scene coming, it would suddenly flipped 180 and continue its ridiculousness.

I actually liked the fact that the MC and ML are already married for seven years when the story started. It's quite rare for me to read a danmei where the relationship is already established from the start. But the author used a unique approach to stir... more>> up trouble for the MC and ML to create a fun seven-year itch experience for both of them.

The main plot of this is about the ML's changing personalities based on the characters of the books he has downloaded and the MC's sloppy attempt to act in sync with whoever his husband's character is. It's funny how the MC from the beginning was still worried on how to live their daily lives with a husband having multiple personalities, but eventually he was like, "f*ck it" and then just goes with the flow and act his own role in the story. But this event helped them learn and discover more about each other and made their relationship even stronger. It's actually quite romantic but it doesn't change the fact that this novel is extremely funny and sometimes made me want to hide my face from the second-hand embarrassment.

This novel is very unserious and very lighthearted. Nothing really extraordinary, but if you just want to laugh and read something fun, you might want to pick this up. <<less

It's funny and it gives me a lot of giggles. There's overflowing meng and fluff in this one, so if you're into this kind of novel, then this is for you and highly recommended for sure.

Their relationship is smooth sailing until the "accident" that happened to our ML that test the MC's patience and love and in the process discovering a lot of things that he didn't know about his other half. Their love to each other is overflowing, the MC tried his best to understand his beloved while also... more>> "missing" the him who he knows for many years even when they are together.

The only thing that I didn't like is, after the 3rd "arc" everything becomes almost repetitive in some ways. The ML was always thinking of "bedding" the MC. IMHO, it could've been better if the author gave it more twist and serious tone for some arc, but of course the author probably wants it lighthearted and comedic.

Anyway, this is a good read for those who loves stories without complicated plots and angst. <<less

This story's one of my favorite Danmei. Thank God, it's finished finally (i've been waiting in tears). I also read the manhwa but it not finished yet. Sigh..

This story is perfect for me and it's unforgettable.

Before I don't know much about Chinese Novel (especially the Modern one) : *when read the summary* It's seems so complicated. I'm not sure...

After read so many Chinese Danmei Novel: *reread the summary again* Ohh, is it like [The Marshals Want to Get Divorced] ???

Finally read:.... it's actually like what I first thought before knowing any CN.... But in the most Unique, Refreshing, Hilarious, Fantastic, Wonderful, Epic Gold WIN Novel EVER!!!

The novel truly what the Summary written by the first Translation site had said. Yes, the summary was from the Translation group because the real Summary was VERY SHORT. The kind of Summary that make people not exactly tempt people to read.

It's really about MC who finally found out a lots of what ML had keep hidden; intentionally or not. Nothing harmful! If anything, it was Very Funny and/or Very Sweet Heartwarming secret. This event is a Blessing in Disguise. Truly One of Sweetest Funny Lovely Couple EVER!!!

I'm Truly Already Absolutely IN LOVE with this novel even without knowing what kind of ending this would have...!!! Pray soooo hard the novel has the Best Satisfying Ending!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Oh God, it's finally completed. But it finished in with everything cleared and well done.

They didnt just get through Fluff and Comedic moments. But they also had the drama and even one intense moment.

I'm just SOOO Happy they're finally relieved after get through so much.

The fact our MC really taking care of ML so well without 'real complain' and understanding the situation. It's really so happy with their deep feelings. I believe with their everlasting love and Marriage!

Funny and cute.

First read a bit of this in the manga version some time ago.

It’s an interesting premise in that instead of quick transmigration through worlds/novels, the ML takes on the different personalities while retaining some of his original self. I got a little bored near the last few personality changes ‘cause it felt a little repetitive, but the reversal part was quite funny.

... more>> Laughed out loud quite a few times at the nonsense, a few mild tingles here and there.

A good light-hearted read. If I re-read, it’ll probably be the manga version. <<less

This novel is a must read!!! It is hilarious and super sweet, one of my favorites! With the ML going through various novel characters, the MC calmly accepts all his shenanigans and at the same time finds out all the things the ML has done for him in the past and also sparks up their passion for each other again. Just a very sweet novel. Had to mtl the middle of the chapters as the original translator deleted them so hopefully it will be properly translated in the near future.

Very cute story. I had read the unfinished manga first and wanted to read the source novel. Since the novel wasn't completely translated yet, I had been stalking it until it was finally done. 😍 Overall, the intro gives the basics of most of the plot. The novel is about a couple who had been married for seven years. One would think that their love had lost some of its luster over time. However, Zhang Chenfei's accident reveals what's really under the surface. It's cute how Jiao Qi comes to find... more>> out the secrets Zhang Chenfei hid from him. They aren't secrets that hurt their relationship but reveal how deeply ZC loves JQ. Each discovery draws them closer together and makes my heart mushy. ❤️❤️❤️ <<less
