These are game element stories (mostly with level systems) that are either action-packed or great on the power fantasy side of things -- the MCs either begin OP or gradually become OP. You won't find any pushover MCs here, either, or MCs that waste chapter after chapter chasing skirts. Don't judge these by their covers -- some are a lot better than the cover art would lead you to think, like Night Ranger, which I put off reading for a long time. My preference: Meandering slow-burn novels like Mao Ni's stuff get extra points. Harem/romance/face-slapping power fantasies get minus points. Completed novels get bonus points, and terrible endings get points knocked off. Also plus points for character building friends/family/enemies and down points for solo yolo.
