I was a bit sad with what happened to the ml parents but not every story ends as a fairy tale...

The ml and fl were sweet. It was interesting to go from disliking the ml to thinking he is caring:))). The translation is really good too. The only problem was that in the beginning chapters it would be hard sometimes  to figure our the timeline, like where are we right now? Besides that at first it was a little hard to start reading like is it really worth it? But the more I read the better it become. I am very happy with this story. The only actual minus is that I already finished reading:))))))

Enjoyble, finally there is some drama and you get to worry about the FL and ML. Both of them quite well written, though I have to agree to other rewievers opinion - the FL goes to find trouble and is very annoying at times. In the description you would think she will target the ML early on but oh boy it doesn't happen for awhile. Anyway I liked this story although it was predictable at times and ML was more likable than FL ( at least he was way more cleaver than her )  but it was nice, also the short story at the end left me wishing it was quet a bit longer and it was a very nice finishing touch so to say:))).  <<less

Also it was interesting to read about peoples life in 70's about communistic society and peoples suffering because of it. Makes you feel more grateful for all the opportunities you have in 21 st century. People who complain about translation should really stop, I think it was in line with how people in that era spoke although yes there were numerous grammatical mistakes. There are novels that really are a waste of time but not this on. Loved interactions between ML and FL. Sometimes those unjust scenes where GR was crawling over everyone's heads and disregarding morality would make me sooo angry. I cheered when she and her mother got what they deserved. <<less
