MC is arguably OP. He's the strongest awakener is 10 years ahead of the curve on awakened powers. Not to mention, he is a regressor, and knows the future and has developed an in depth understanding of all the most important events that will occur due to his position as the Commander of the Calvary in his past life.

ML is the strongest person in the world by far by being a mage, divine power weilder, swordmaster, awakener, and royalty - all rolled up into one. Not to mention super hot and devoted to MC.

When the emperor is the ML's older brother and is the leader of the strongest organization, most political problems are pretty trivial. Anything that can be solved by force can be easily handled by the world's top 2 strongest individuals. And with Yuder's knowledge of the past, they've assembled a merry band of extremely useful people.

It's hard to stay invested in a story that doesn't have any possible problem that isn't trivial to solve.

This a a slow burn yall. The MC and ML won't get together until about 300 chapters in. But it's so worth the wait.

Ironically enough, I want to say it's less that a year with 600+ chapters in. So it's almost like an extended Romeo and Juliette with how fast and slow this story is.

I think there will have malepreg elements either towards the end or side stories. I'm honestly waiting the author to prove me wrong but so far... I have seen some flags raised. I wanna see children between them (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)

He's just so bewildered why people are treating him nicely and familiarly because it didn't happen to him in the past. As far as I can tell, the story has him set up as a bit of a unreliable narrator, but you're given enough hints and other POVs to realize what's going on.

One of them being just how, well, special the MC is. In his previous future, he's the only omega in the Cavalry, and the leader and being known as the most powerful Awakener basically. Apparently, pretty much all other omegas are basically sold into s*avery for the rich and powerful and treated as s*x toys. MC is the sole exception because he for some reason doesn't have pheromones that other people can smell or something, so heats were a much less issue than other omegas.

Like... it just seems so singular to the MC, I don't know why the author didn't just give omegas overall a better situation. If only ability awakeners can get a second gender, than why haven't there been any omegas fighting back against their treatment? Surely at least one other one has to have awakened a decent ability that can fight back against non-powered humans. I'm hoping this will be better explained or explored in future chapters.

Don't even get me started on the MC's abilities. Ability to wield any weapon, and the ability to wield anything from nature. Forget all the usual things like manipulating fire and water and all that, he can make things like heavy rocks as light as a feather with just a touch, manipulate swords like with telekinesis (because its iron forged in fire which are both from nature?? I didn't really understand the reasoning behind it), and he can't get drunk because alcohol is just water and grain spirits which are both natural so he's not affected by the negative effects of it.

Apparently his only weakness basically is anything unnatural, like monster tendons and magic bred horses. He can get drunk off monster blood, which is usually super poisonous to people. I'm still so baffled over his abilities like it's insane what he can do. Everyone else's abilities kinda pale in comparison.
