I like how this story doesn't brush off depression as a side trope thing, and shows what the MC  gone through, his experience in depression, the choking sensation of wanting to leave the world, and his recovery. Tbh, MC and ML both have their side which people might not like, but I always like to think that there's perfection in imperfections. Every character in this book, from the main characters to the side characters experience character growth. This book is a whole shade of gray and touching the areas where people mostly just classify one character as evil or good.  <<less

MC suffered a lot because of the illegitimate daughter who doesn't want to let him go even after he got kicked out from the house without any support. MC's family also tries to hinder MC in every way and even hurt him in the process. This is a story about how MC recovers from the past, his healing with ML, and a story where not everything is all fine with an apology. The reason why I like this story is because it have a pretty realistic turn of event. ML very supporting of MC, and the regret aspect from the people who had hurt MC leave such a bittersweet feeling. A realistic aspect from a what supposed to be a side character of a mary sue story.  <<less

MC in this story is just trying to survive and get better living for the people he's supposed to protect. Basically MC is the flower trying to survive growing in the mud. The society in the era MC got thrown into isn't all that glorious nor laden with gold. Instead it's filled with filth and everything that today's society would look down upon. ML is a person of that era, who seldom partake in those things and mostly stay as a spectator.  <<less

It's pretty hard to make a synopsis of this one cos I'm afraid of spoiling too much because the story is pretty straight forward. No dog-blood drama and no heart wringing skin chilling plot twist, can be considered a pretty light read to pass time if you're not afraid of feels in the middle of reading it.  <<less

MC got transmigrated to a novel world, and everything he experienced there is much more beautiful than his world. His family cared about him, and he got friends he can be close with. ML was pictured as someone domineering (well as domineering as a typical rich high schooler could be), but as the story progress, you'll see that he's much more than that. It's a story of growth, acceptance, and healing.

Tho I wished there are more closure about ML's family, cos it feels hanging without resolve, like he just cut off relationships with them.

MC was being treated as a stepping stone for his so-called partner in the entertainment circle, all because he loved the wrong person. He got reborn after suffering in the entertainment industry from taking every pot his partner did, and finally cleanse himself from being framed forcefully. ML being MC's idol and finally noticing MC is a trope that I really like, and this delivers well with the ML not being forceful and being supportive for all of MC's decisions. ML's also there to help MC recover from his traumas and eventually recover.

A lot of twist and turns happened in this novel, and it builds up for more well rounded characters and plot. Pretty much dog blood drama, but what is angst without one? Hope you guys give it a try without minding some butchered translations. <<less

MC is a news reporter with irregular schedule and a small voice actor, but he got brought to light when he collaborated with a well known voice actor in a BL drama. MC meet ML through his main work as a news reporter, and they continue to collide with each other as time goes on. The relationship is pretty straight forward with small sprinkles of conflict, and in general, it's a healing story where MC and ML help each other to get better. This is not a story about overbearing ML taking care of MC, or MC being overpowered to take revenge. Both of them are independent in their own right and they both grow as a person along the story. A pretty mundane story depicting life as an adult. 

It's a good filling story if you want something light with no dramatic dog blood (imo). The growth seen in both characters are not abrupt, heartwarming and there are no frustrating part, as everything got resolved in their rightful way and not prolonged.  <<less

MC got rebirthed back in time 10 years before his death with his memories intact, and embarks on a road of revenge. Classic, I know. Then he meet ML and realized ML's true identity while the ML just see him as someone to rescue and help. MC have to pay a certain price for his rebirth, which is to pay the system (a non-existent one and don't really appear much throughout the whole story but still very relevant) his current feelings of love and hope, leaving him with the rest such as anger and hate. The sufferings MC went through made me cry plenty and the ending is totally worth it. 

It's a journey of revenge, closure, and love. A really satisfying read with no loose ends and happy ending. <<less
