Cliche plotline but with a little twist.

MC is described as very cute and kinda gary stu. ML is described as typical ML persona. Cool, rich, famous, etc but with a very jaded personality.

They fell in love slowly by interacting but it's all smooth-sailing. Truly average imo.

Since I MTL which is a bit choky and ruined the experience a bit, so I rate it like 3.5 but if its translated I'm sure it's 4 stars or more. PLEASE SOMEONE PICK THIS UP PLEASE!!! BAI QI IS TOO MUCH & I STILL WANT MOREEE😭😭😭

Definitely love all the reality shows, how the netizens hate him so much and BOOM, instead of asking him to leave their idol, THEY WANT TO MARRY HIM TOO HAHAHAH, Our Qiqi acting as the perfect little wife is too believable and charming, reels... more>> us all in! A heartwarming story with an interesting plot.

MC gets heartbroken by scum bf and goes into a contractual marriage with ex bf's older brother, a celebrity.

With the contract, the background story of both ML and MC came to light and the issues arising were resolved beautifully. In the meanwhile, the MC and ML fell in love in the true sense, so there were no dark materials in the true sense.

The best thing about this is that the moment ML married MC (even if it's fake), he publicized it, and compensated MC... more>> clearly knowing that the life of a celebrity spouse is not easy. ML went along with any scheme of MC even though at the beginning he was uneasy. MC asks some deep questions about love, which to be honest could be a psychological burden if ML hadn't come in with the marriage proposal at that time.

All in all, it's a good read. <<less

  1. Yeah, I've read it to the end. This story is very funny and sweet, I laughed and smiled a lot when I read it. Not many face slapping scenes, almost all of it is dog food 😌 although I'm a little disappointed with the ending but overall this story is good and light

Pretty interesting at the beginning. MC and ML are each other's lucky stars because everything falls into place and works out for them once they met.

It starts getting boring towards the end though. The way they finally got together for real was really weird. It wasn't very romantic and it wasn't very cute. They finally got together for real during a comedic moment and it just ruined it for me. Then it's just pretty boring, I didn't care to read to the end, but I powered through. Dropped at ch.111 (ML meeting MC parents)

At first I enjoyed it because I like the premise of fake boyfriend, but later the story just felt shallow. The characters lack depth, plot lacks depth, it’s not like it’s main theme is full on romantic comedy either. MC is just Gary-Su, which is alright, but there’s just no base why he’s so good at everything. His personality seems to have potential to have some depth, but it just became typical little cutie gary-su face showing off everything, at the moment I... more>> still have no clear understanding on both MC ML personality and background. It's sweet and fluffy.

MC is super adaptable and enthusiastic about everything. Even though I don't like OP, it's fun.

When it comes to fake marriage, he never expects more. I love that. He is very clear about his role.

ML is so sweet to him, from beginning to end. He seems to love everything about him... Well, the author made him.

That kinda feels fake.

Everyone makes mistakes and has flaws after all.

Anyway, MC is pretty charming. And it's enough for a relaxing read.

I think this is the lowest I've rated a novel here...I put it a 3.0 but it's more of a 3.5!

mc: is quite literally the definition of having the protagonist's white halo, but qi qi is really cute and I adore his personality! the acting, especially towards the Jiang family when they first meet, was so funny bc all the shameless and proactive-ness he shows was planned haha. qi qi is also hella OP in the story, but to me it's good since I am usually very protective of the... more>> MC and don't want them to suffer any grievances.

ml: tbh, he was alright. not a typical black bellied, domineering, love ay first sight CEO, but he is very OP and rich so I guess that's a similar outline for most mls in such novels. the twist on his family and siblings was interesting though!

this is a simple story without much thinking needed. there cab be plot holes and areas I wish the author-nim touched deeper on, but I also don't mind that these things get brushed over since the novel isn't meant to be something of a hard read. yes, it is a kinda slice of life novel with OP CP, mixed in with some face slapping on both MC and ml's part, and just watching cannon fodder suffer in their hands (well deserved!) it's nothing special, but at the same time if you are looking for a short novel to satisfy your craving for a fluffy story with no angst (well, minimal) give this a try! <<less

I enjoyed this novel as a story full of "MC has a protagonist halo" plot. Everything goes in a way to benefit the protagonist. This isn't realistic, but it is relaxing if you do not think too deep into this.

There isn't a part where the MC suffers in the plot. Sure, his family has went through ups and downs and his ex abandoned him for a richer girl, but he went through the sad phase of his life with a happy go lucky attitude and the ex ended up too... more>> obsessed over him for me to think that MC was wronged in anyway.

all in all, this is a novel full of self satisfaction.

Although the chapter is split into multiple parts by the translator (c82 -> c25p5) they explain terms well and phrase it such that it is understandable for the English audience. (*⌒∇⌒*) <<less

Simple, cute and fluffy. No angst just dog food.

It was a really relaxing and enjoyable read, I really recommend it if you want something to lass the time with that has no angst but is just fluff and cuteness.

Though I wish there was more to the ending.

The most important point is that machine translating it if you are impatient like me, is very readable lol

Full of fluff.. And until now that's all..

The protagonists are OP.. MC can do EVERYTHING !!! He is simply perfect.. And the ML -- well, he is perfect in his own way as usual..

They participated in a program.. And everyone else except our protagonists are just useless as usual..

The story is as typical as a "doting older millionaire gong X soft clever shou and their love life" stories can get..

Anyway it's not my cup of tea.. So adios..

Man, what I wouldn't do to have Bai Qi's motivation on learning different things. At a young age, he was already so practical: what skills would make me earn faster?

Both has black bellies but they are clever and do not intend to hurt anyone (except Jiangs and that backstabber to the Bais). Not that toxic relationship, it's a bit fast I think?

I cannot wait so I just MTL-ed all the chapters. I don't regret it, as it was readable. The story is so sweet and fluff... Both MC and ML are so cute together... Great story when you want to release tension.

Reading this is enjoyable at the beginning. The MC is very sweet and is truly emerse on his character as the fake wife. In the process, he becomes a likable little baby who is both scheming (in a good way) and attractive to others. The ML cannot resist eventually.

I got bored some times though, so I end up reading in a fast paced. Because it's MTLed, I didn't understand some of it so I hope that this will get translated well so I can read it again.
