And Kyle, the leader of the Order of the Holy Knights, who just appeared in front of Emily.

The harsh voice gave her goosebumps. As soon as the man’s solid body fell off of her for a while, her body floated into the air. And when she closed her eyes and opened up, she was lying on the bed.

Before she could get up, Kyle climbed on top of her. And slowly unbuttoned his cuffs.

In the meantime, his gaze did not fall from Emily.

His expression seemed dull, but his eyes were burning. And the lower body that was touching her was already….

“I’m the only one who can get in and out of you.”

This one had some good potential, but it was let down by some really clunky writing. I have a feeling that the author is inexperienced with love and s*x, because it just doesn’t ring true in any way. The plot moves its way between one shōjo romance trope after another, interspersed with spicy scenes which don’t even make sense anatomically. I’m fine with the whole forearm phallus and improbable positions, many of which are clearly in the realm of hot but improbable. But for an author to write effective fantasy,... more>> she needs (at the very least) to know the basics.

The characters are all over the place. The female protagonist was apparently a normal girl in her school days, an idea I really liked. She wasn’t a good little girl, but she wasn’t also a Bad Girl (capitals intended there). She was like most teenagers, getting into a bit of trouble but not out-and-out villainy. She’s conceptually a very welcome break from the dithering good girls who are innocent in a way that suggests brain damage or a very, very restricted upbringing. For all that, though, by the time we get to the present time in the story, she’s gotten weepy and clingy - it’s behavior I would associate with intense hormonal fluctuations (pregnancy or puberty, essentially) and it’s just not appealing.

All of the characters seem incredibly immature for adults. The female villain employs a completely transparent plot to get between the main couple, but the plot is so full of holes only an idiot (ahem, female protagonist) would believe it. I get why she might believe it initially, but the scheme wouldn’t stand up to any cursory examination. Likewise, the lead couple have a big jealousy misunderstanding between them that is a basic staple of the shōjo romance genre, but it’s carried to ridiculous extremes based on pretty much nothing. It’s exacerbated by the whole amnesia issue, but I think most readers can see where that’s going.

Is it the worst thing I’ve ever read in this genre? No.

Would I recommend it? No.

Does it have some redeeming qualities? Meh. It’s short. <<less

The story is good so far. Solid translation. A woman enters a marriage contract to please her father since she’s an only child and marries the ML, who was suppose to divorce like the summary says in three years. But the ML got into an accident. It’s too early to say what’s going to happen but it’s mutual feelings so far

The premise started out ok, but throughout the story, all the emotional drama seemed really shallow. Neither the ML or FL ever spent much time getting to know each other after marriage at all. All the misunderstandings were quite simplistically well dumb as well. I really can't quite understand the depth of the love either had with each other.

Just read it for the smut if nothing else.

It's a simple & fluffy short romance novel. There weren't too many dramas and the characters are okay. Both leads are love idiots and at the end, it's all funny and cute haha. Smut scenes are good too ;)

I enjoyed it a lot! Though, I'd have to disagree with the male yandere tag. The ML is indeed possessive but that's about it. If I describe him more, I'd feel like I would spoil the fun.

It's a very light and casual read. It's a quick read too so I personally didn't mind the misunderstandings. It's a standard plot for smut stories at this point but I love the contract marriage trope so again, I didn't mind. Translation is also well-done~

Idk why but when it was revealed ML was trying to be a badboy ang using lines he read from a romance novel I burst out laughing. He thought that kind of guy was the FL ideal man. FL also tried desperately to hide her feelings and she thought ML's staring was him glaring at/being annoyed with her. Turns out ML just has RBF (resting b*tch face) 🤦🏻‍♀️😅

The misunderstanding is ridiculous, hilarious, frustrating, and quite cute (you'll know what I mean when you read Ch21 *winkwink*) at the same time. The misunderstanding gets resolved at Ch20-21. If you don't know what to read and don't mind the R18 tags, give it a try.

The story is okay, but not something I would recommend to others. Even tho it's short, it could have a little more plot to it. And the parts that you could call story were also a little strange at times. In the smut scenes, you'll sometimes find yourself wondering what pose they even are in at the moment. Some things don't make sense and it repeats a lot. In the end I'm wondering what I've even read. So to sum it up, it's good for burning half a day away,... more>> its not a bad story, but I wouldn't call it a good one either.

the translation is great, a few "her" and "his" mistakes, but I find those in all stories I've read. <<less

Giving this story 3 stars for the sm*t. As for the story itself, it was mediocre at most. The misunderstanding between MC and ML was ridiculous. Moreover, they already married for 3 years but none of them tried to make the other party falling in love and chose to love the other secretly. They finally started to do something when the contract was over but in not so honest way.

I mean, come on... what were you doing during those 3 years? It wasn't a short time and they had many chances to cultivate their feelings. Why wait until the final moment? Thankfully, the sm*t was quite hot so it's still considering a satisfying read. <<less

Pink Grapes is a top-tier translator. It has potential; I wish this novel would be adapted to manhwa. They clumsily in love and their relationship have a lot of ups and downs, but luckily the chapter is short, so it's not really frustrating to read, just a little annoyed by their misunderstanding. The smut scene is pleasant to read. The only letdown is the epilogue is short. I wish we had more chapters about their happy family.

Short and sweet - the seggys scenes were HOT and the relationship between the two leads was well-written. I liked that both had insecurities that screwed with their perceptions, and that they cared for each other very much. There was the perfect amount of angst - I even cried a tiny bit.

I did wish there were about 2-3 more side stories or epilogue chapters to see more of their development as a family, but this was a good length.

I ALWAYS love Pink Grapes translations - this one was also a... more>> winner. <<less

It was my fault for expecting sassy bantering between the 2 leads. I was expecting some scenes in their early years of marriage to build up tension and angst, followed by that sweet sweet release of after snusnu teehee

But Lo, not only did we not get some fun, teasing conversation between the two, but the FL is already in love with him almost right at the get go. Is that a spoiler? Cause I don't really think so. This is actually a pretty straight to the point smut. And I... more>> actually enjoyed it despite my ramblings. And the FLs constant tearing up which I found odd because she was introduced to be tomboyish with a strong personality. But you barely see that in the succeeding chapters

Anyway, an enjoyable read all in all. Thank you TL for the hardwork! <<less

It's an okay story for me. There was a plot apart from the smutty scenes. There were just confusing part for me from when she started liking him and so but anyhow it's a nice read something I may reread if I need something to pass the time.

I sauntered over to mature novel section looking for romance as the action novels I have been reading have been great at romance, but had too little pages dedicated to it.

Well... imagine going to the mature/romance novel section to find the same problem. This is just smut. Not bad, I guess, but totally not the romance I was looking for.

SS and epilogue were fun and cute. 1st half of story was fine, establishing characters, naughtiness was good, fun cliched locations. All good.

Then the 2nd half was excruciating. So much of the same insecurities, same non-communication. The ending was meh to bad. They continued to not communicate until so close to the end. I thought it wasn't gonna happen. Almost no character growth.

The MCs were the same until end, idiots. Even when they were forced to give it up, they almost didn't.

The story started well, rushed but good, the R19 scenes are pleasant to read but at times you don't even know what is happening or what position they are in, the romance was somewhat forced and the hilarious misunderstandings ruin the reading at times although certain scenes are fine.

The ending was a complete disappointment, the misunderstandings led to more misunderstandings that led to more and in the end they love and hate each other but they reconcile at their friend's house and get married.

Leaving that aside, it's a good story to read one afternoon and clear your mind for a while. In my opinion, there were more parallel stories missing and an epilogue with more details, but it's fine that way. 4/5 although it would be more of a 7/10. If you have free time read it <<less
