The main character, Jiang Shuyu's character and personality really vary and is not consistent which I don't really mind since this story doesn't have a strong foundation to begin with. He's confused with who he really is but since I've used the pronoun 'he', then you already guess what his s*xual orientation is. He got confused at first because he just woke up from his coma and had a very long dream where he's a woman who lived in a 10 year long apocalypse with a scum man. I don't dislike his character but I also can't say that I like it.

The plot is nice but also confusing, when you're really not into it you'll get lost and don't know where you at. One time you're in a chapter where Shuyu is in the middle of a fight but the next second you'll be in a scene where his past self, Guan Weijun, is at. It's really confusing, you'll have to wait for the author to drop a name so you'll be able to guess which life it is but overall, the plot is nice. It's just that the romance part is put up in a awkward position.

The Ice Emperor and Thunder God's parallel world story got me into tears, not much but it's a sign that it's somewhat a good story.

They realized that the life they remembered upon waking from the coma was actually a past life and that they are the-person-whose-body-they-woke-up-in (aka, it's been a couple weeks and I can't remember names).

I saw a couple of people saying that MC ends up with a woman, and it's def not going to be their brother or sister character. If I remember correctly, I think it's the Thunder God's sister that is introduced pretty early on. I won't lie- I was hoping it'd be a guy.

The in*estuous tones in the beginning would throw me off if it wasn't the fact that the MC got amnesia. The author doesn't throw away the mental gymnastics someone would have to go through when not only their gender had changed from what they believed they were but their romantic preferences as well. (Not to mention an entire self identity crises.) The people MC interacts with the most are their siblings, why wouldn't they be using them as examples? If you read later on, they encounter more people and their "romantic" thoughts change as the MC is more sure of themselves. I like the fact the author doesn't shy away from the topic.

At the same time, MC's previous life has some clearly f***ed up things (her previous bf). They're handling 10 years of trauma. I'm surprised the MC comes off sane.

I actually liked that the brother was at least a bit suspicious after hearing the whole living as an ordinary woman for 10 years in the dream stuff. The sister trusting MC fully isn't weird neither since he literally put his life at risk to ensure her safety and ordered her to close off the door no matter what despite him being on the other side with the abberants, but the brother was away at that time (he did hear about it, but it'd just different you know)

Its also interesting that minor side characters can die. Like Blackie who MC wanted to recruit had died just like that

The most interesting relationship dynamic for me though is definitely Thirteen and MC. It's not cute but...I find Thirteen intriguing. He had been an OP monster who had killed many humans in the world MC was in, and he had killed indiscriminately. Yet in this world, he had just escaped from the lab (yes he was an aberrant who got experimented on by humans) and he seems to have not only intelligence that exceeds other monsters but also some sense of empathy (him with Beibei tho, Idk whether I should find this cute and wholesome or scary), loyalty (with Asura) and integrity (once he makes a promise, he actually follows through with it even if it's disadvantageous) making it hard to truly hate him (even if he killed Blackie)
