i really liked how MC didn't rely solely on ML even though he could've done that. it's also pointed out by other characters that he reacts relatively well to things. TRYING TO AVOID SPOILERS BUT AGRHRGHRGRGH ONE OF MY FAVE CHARACTERS!! I LOVED HER anyway what that means that the side charas are written properly enough that you Will get attached. may be negative or positive bc some of them don't really get extras or closure so... yeah. on the flip side you could say that's realistic to the genre rather than every single person surviving

i just love how MC and ML work together. you can really see their tacit understanding, a term that's overused lmao, and it feels realistically done. MC in his own way is a shithead i love him. ML is even more of a shithead. they deserve each other fr. i also love the other side characters who i will not spoil, but i love how the side characters equally push the story forward instead of the MC and ML alone.

i f*cking love how the story did not shy away from showing how the entire "someone transmigrating and using MC's body" affected not only MC himself, but ML and their child. obviously MC was absolutely f*cked up by that but ML (and their kid) was too. how can you even recover after that. the depiction of trauma is amazing too, unexpectedly so i must admit. in the same way, irl, even if you're far away from the source of abuse or trauma, and even if you're dealing with it through therapy or other ways, a part of you will always be stuck in that same place. remembering. things that were once innocent are triggers. it's depicted so realistically and cruelly. in fact, i like that it was done that way. you never once worry about MC or ML not loving each other, it's never the problem. tbh they're established from the get go. it's just that they both went through such a horrific event that they're trying to pick up the pieces even as they're seeking justice. this is so GOOD my god

and of course, the major side characters are so good as well!!! trying to avoid spoilers here but their KID!! he worked so hard and i love how ML raised him: he was honest about MC's situation but still tried to protect him (which is the right way imo pls dont lie to your kids). and OG MC (according to the system, who lied, but we don't care abt that i just need a placeholder name to hide names) was so strong and persistent too. i like that he called out the system golden fingers and pointed out that the "talents" were essentially mind-control and that he values himself enough to know he is capable of working hard to gain his deserved awards. he's a good kid. system get a JOB STAY AWAY FROM HIM
