I really don't know how to describe this relationship dynamic with only a few words...
The FL, by way of raising, taming, or a similar method, ends up capturing the ML's heart and earning his utter devotion. He's wrapped around her finger and will do anything to make her happy while also being very possessive and easily jealous. She holds full emotional power over him. However, she herself is not physically strong -- he unconsciously holds that over her. Two sides of a coin. One holds the head and heart, while the other holds the strength of the body. The two complement each other in such a way.
Roundabout ways of expressing affection are wonderful. Hugging her from behind, kissing her hand gently, holding her waist tightly as they dance; he desires her greatly, but due to his reverence of her he cannot do more than this. She in turn cannot refuse his advances, as she becomes increasingly unable to leave his side. There may be a point where he can no longer hold back and contain his feelings, regardless of how much he treasures her...
Expect a lot of angst and pining, some tragedy, and the occasional fluff to soothe the pain. I have mostly seen this dynamic in transmigration novels, so I end up reading them most of the time (the transmigration trope itself does not necessarily appeal to me). I would love it if you, kind passerby, could recommend me more, transmigration or not!

Added rec, you should read A Barbaric Proposal, the leads' dynamic is exactly what you wrote. Lots of angst and frustration in the early novel, but so much fluff, love, and care later on. Gentle and kind FL and a scary looking ML who's secretly a softie.
