It’s been 20 years since I reincarnated as an extra in a book. I’ve been avoiding the villain for 20 years in order to not be killed by him like the original ending. After drinking alcohol, I faced the Duke of Chester, the villain in the original story.

“You have to take responsibility for me, Yulia.”

“Duke, I…”

“Yulia, you have to take responsibility for me.”

He started kissing each and every joint of my finger. Unlike his sweet behavior, his eyes contained a menacing look, as if wanting to eat people.

“Yulia, don’t even think about getting out of here.”

I’m afraid those words sound like a threat.

Will I be able to safely escape from the villain?

Maybe she's the original and now she's on her third life hence both the original and MC are idiots. The original doesn't understand when someone despises her even though the signs are too obvious. Our MC doesn't understand when someone doesn't despise her even though the signs are also too obvious it's not even funny.

But the ultimate reason I stopped reading this for the plot is due to the trope "I am only interested in you once/because you ignore me". F*ck that kind of ML. I'm done with them.

The original... more>> villain hates her because he has no interest in her and she displays her love excessively. He killed her family as a warning. The current villain, who knew? She totally ignores him and they only get to a one night stand because she was dead drunk. Now, he is totally obsessed with her after the one-night stand to the point you kind of expect that he would kill her family just to keep her.

Well so far the novel is good but the FL is really annoying. The ML hasn't done anything to her and she hides and runs away from him hurts him and all but doesn't feel sorry at all. She's just like "He's a villain" and shrugs it off. The ML cannot express his emotions, if he has emotions. The TL is good and the updates are moderately paced

A boilerplate "I reincarnated into the villainess role and want to avoid my death flags but WHOOPS the ML is in love with me now!" with an incredibly dense protagonist. Reading this feels like I'm in a car stuck in mud just spinning my wheels, bcs we've done the exact same story beats of "I don't love you and refuse to get married to you, Chester!" "But I want you Yulia." "But you don't love me and I don't love you!" "But I want you, Yulia." at least seven times... more>> by this point. The story is progressing almost in spite of the lead couple.

Yulia is a contradictory mess and it's funny to be in her head, but it's starting to get frustrating watching her go in circles and just trap herself further and further in a relationship with Chester despite not wanting anything to do with him. I don't normally side eye the heroine in stories like this with obsessive yandere MLs (the girls usually can't help it), but she literally has done nothing to discourage him or distance herself from him beyond telling him no despite knowing that has 0 effect on him. He has already proven he doesn't respect her boundaries and her protests go in one ear and out the other-- this is when you start looking for alternative methods or asking for help.

Also she has this weird habit of following up her internal monologues about how awful and evil and repulsive he is by over analyzing whether or not he Really Loves Her, even though she "knows" he can't (as explained in said monologues) and yet:

She acts surprised and betrayed when she finds evidence that she's right?? She literally never had a moment where she thought "Oh maybe he could actually love me". This isn't a betrayal, sis, you always thought he was lying to you why are you acting hurt and jilted??

Even if he's The Strongest Warrior In The Land, if the main character does nothing and just sits there and takes it while internally lamenting about how unfair it is, it's so hard to be invested in the story being told. She's the most powerful woman in the land on account of her being both the crown princess and also hella spoiled and doted on by her father and brother, yet her hands are tied by????? Plot.

Haven't read enough to vote, but ⚠️⚠️⚠️ skip prologue if you don't wanna read about her waking up hungover next to the ML as if it's her fault they're naked when she was dead drunk the night before (and ofc he gives the confused FL another dose in the morning, though its very vague with wording and nothing is shown past kissing).

I hate the victim blaming, FLs are always like "I shouldn't have drunk! I wanna go smack my past self!" when being drunk is never an excuse to be... more>> taken advantage of. It's my personal morality pet peeve; the rest is some good yandere stuff so I'm fine with his aggressiveness and threats there, but the start is rocky to me when she keeps blaming herself.

It is a very generic yandere Isekai with a wet noodle bland MC. Yandere is my guilty pleasure so I will absolutely read it, but it is very cliche and I'm not expecting much improvement.

Maybe I'm too early in the novel but I haven't seen anything new or different from generic Obsessive Villain loves Not The Novel Female Lead. It's translated well but the story is kind of disjointed and repetitive. The main female character of this story is not appealing to me. I have no sympathy for her starting the mess by getting blackout drunk. I do sympathize that her love interest is Yan without the Dere. Not my thing.

It's also painfully obvious that the First Love she is looking for is the Villain, but I'm guessing it'll be 50+ chapters until that is revealed. Just like it is obvious the Villain will come home a war hero.

I didn't want to write a review but seeing what the others says I couldn't. It's true that FL keep refusing ML but I'm waiting for more chapters to know the reason. I'm guessing that FL IS the og villainess and what happened in the story was fl's past sooo I'm thinking the reason she's refusing ML is because she has feelings of her past life and can't accept ML since he killed her parents in the past. And I'm guessing the reason ML is obessed with FL is that... more>> he went in the past and realize that she's the one he has been looking for not the og fl. I don't like the FL. Her thought process, reactions, actions, overthinking, how she handles things etc. She's kinda paranoid and I don't like how she keeps asking if the duke loves her and other s*upid questions. She doesn't even love him and wants him to die in the war just so she can escape him. Can she not just man up and deal with the duke differently since it's her fault anyway they end up together at first, iirc. She has so many issues.

Hmmm, kinda hard to say. I kinda like it but ML love is quite vague. Unlike what the description depicts or at least in my own interpretation, a novel with yandere ML that lock up MC for his love like in those tragic novels, ML give MC freedom and want to make MC fall in with him by becoming the ideal lover of MC dream albeit a bit possessive which is expected tho I had no idea what ML true feeling is whether it was pure curiousness or trying to... more>> play trick cause his action is very vague. (I tried it because I'm kinda tired with a strong villainess MC with an unrealistic talent and just want to try something new). I accidentally rated it 5 stars.

Anyways, I really don't know how I feel about this web novel. At first, I found everything about Yulia annoying. It's always a 'one step forward, two steps back' situation with her. But then I started doubting Chester, which created a space for Yulia's doubts to be validated, though I still find her annoying. Anyways, I hope this will be updated because there are a lot of thoughts in my head because of this that I can't put into words because they're too jumbled.

I hope this will be updated soon.

I won't rate it.

It's still too early in the novel and I may just be too hopeful in thinking but at the moment the ML and MC are the cliche dynamic you see in any novel.

I love the male yandere tags but this is really cheap and bland at the moment. And currently the MC isn't helping its more like a "push and pull".

I will rate it when there is more chapters than this.
