yes. the background setting is school life [More 'up to high school' unless revised]. and with me, ofc this list is mainly romance and BL.

I love stories with this setting. It feels fresh, and 'oh!! youth!!'. such setting usually rarely create a difficult story but rather a very easy one. Everyone can relate, since one must have undergone it once in their life. So it also creates nostalgic feeling.

By this setting, we can expect: the silliness, impulsiveness, the school hierarchy, school forum discussion, school bully, school grass, group clique, group chat, confessing at certain location, club activities, exam time, study period, dorm mates, fighting on school grounds, teacher's scolding, crushing on teacher, etc.

can also expect issues about growing up, escaping the family problem, fitting in, finding identities, finding friends, struggling inside the boundary of school, making utmost efforts to win/to stay/to survive... the energy of youth is simply mesmerizing!
