I've read this about 6-7 times. It's my go to when I feel down and need a cheer up.

Its a very light novel but there are moments when you have to ask who is cutting onions near me. The MC is very lively and at first appeared to be easily bullied but when you see how his character is you can help but feel gratified.

It's a HE and you will not be disappointed reading it.

I can see why it has such high ratings.

it picked up for me at about chapter 30 I think, so stick with it; it’s very worth it.
I liked complex some characters were and how subtle the rebirth element was.

It’s heartwarming, heartbreaking and very motivating.

This is a good novel. Very light drama, its more warm and fluffy. MC is very positive, he looked like he could be easily bullied, but he knows the best way to retaliate. ML is so cute, he is quiet and he loves MC so much.

I reccomend this novel for people who just want to sit down and read something light, little drama, little problems, just fluff.

ver very happy. This is such a cute story.

MC is kind but he's not s*upid and he can also beat the sh*t out of some scums lol. ML is super rich and completely whipped for MC. He gets some dark thoughts bc of his psychological issues but that's understandable bc of his past. Just read this you definitely won't regret it. + Bonus baby ting ting and baby zhao zhao (that was so cute I just wanted to pinch their cheeks (つ≧▽≦) つ

Love this. Loooooveee this. One of the best novels read so far. So much fluff and cuteness.

this story is a good story with no angst, but has a good depth to it. Although it is full of fluff, it portraits real life problems such as

The story is fun, light, fluffy with sensible characters... Innocent gestures & cute moments between the couple made my heart Very Happy. (≧▽≦)

It wasn't too much sugary or clingy couple story.I really wanted some details about the past of ML & how he overcame his mental issues. But it's still very good read.< (￣︶￣) >

So heartwarming, wholesome, and sweet!! It takes a little bit to get into but then this novel is the most exquisite enjoyment - you’ll read with a big grin on your face. The MC is such an admirable character and the MC and ML’s relationship is so sweet, doting, yet fun - not the tasteless, boring kind of fluff. There are many nice side characters too and the friendships, familial love, and romantic love are all portrayed organically. The best pick me up for a rainy/boring day. I jumped into this novel without actually reading the review. When I saw who the translator is I was quite happy.I've read a few of RT translations and they were quite good. And this novel didn't disappoint.

The beginning was slow paced the ML felt quite mysterious. The main focus was more to the MC and his life. It was quite sweet with a lil bit of angst and funny moments. If there's a lil bit of negative thing abt this novel it is

Surprisingly I don't know why but the author put a lil rebirth story in this novel.I mean I don't see the use.. The genre wasn't even explored. And it's the cannon fodder that has a rebirth. And the canon fodder rebirth didn't even has any effect on the overall story and development of the novel. So what for???

I love this so much! It’s just the right mix of angst and fluff. There are many moments where I cried and laughed. The MC’s character is the one I liked the most. Despite what he had gone through, it didn’t hinder him from becoming a good person. And I especially love characters who are thick shinned.

The idea of 2 rebirth/transmigrator that are not the MC or protagonist. It’s fascinating on how they acted with their knowledge of the future. And no matter what they did, it didn’t rob off MC’s halo but rather affected his fate in better ways when their first objective wasn’t even to help him.

I loved this novel so much. I enjoyed every bit of it. The slow-burn romance between the leads felt so real and realistic. The way they realize and come to terms with their feelings for each other was special. I believe Li Zhao and Ting Ting found each other to heal, love, and to understand that they deserve to be loved. They supported each other since the beginning, and they could always rely on one another. Also, their personalities and ways of seeing life complemented each other so well. On... more>> one hand, Li Zhao was optimistic and bright, on the other hand, Ting Ting was serious and distant. Each could bring something different to their relationship. My favorite part of this novel was the confession, I am not going to spoil it, I will just say that it was so sweet and cute. MC and ML relationship are very smooth sailing, and there are no complication at all when they both knew they like the same gender. They immediately stuffed you dog food as soon as they confirmed they feeling together.

MC work as an artist also smooth sailing with ML helping at the back. But ML are very normal for me since he doesn't know anything around MC like other novel ML (which is not logical).

My most favourite character in this novel is, Song Yu. He's a tsundere. What I like the most... more>> is, he know his limit for who he can/can't offend and the severity of his 'evil' bullying. Yes he doesn't like the MC at first, but the way he bully the MC are very mild, like a kindergarten kid lol. Who would even bully you by feeding you food and hoping you to get fat, I sure do want to be bully like that too. <<less

The novel title sums everything up nicely. You feel for the characters and delight in their joy. You can't choose what life gives you, but you can choose how you deal with it. There are a few things in this book that are out of place and interrupt the story flow, but the essence is still there. For a story free of cynicism, read this.

I've just recently finished reading the story and I'm telling you its f*cking worth it!

I love the CP characters, Zhao zhao and TingTing. The most lovable CP I've encountered in every BL novels I read.

At first, I was reluctant to read this novel because of the tag drama. I'm not a huge fan of it. I usually don't read this type of novel because in my mind, life has too much dramas already, why would I go around reading these type of stories. Still, my curiosity got the better of... more>> me and my need for daily dose of BL story so I read it. Before I know it, I just can't stop myself from reading.

To all those who find this novel, go on and read it. It's worth it! The CP are adorable and one of those who are different from the typical CP in every BL stories.

The ML is not domineering and over-bearing. He has a sorrowful past but MC will definitely save him. Actually, they both save each other. As to why and how? I suggest you read it and find out yourself.

P.S there's no smut in this story so... for those who are looking for this, I guess I just have to disappoint you but the lack of it, made the story purer.

I have been reading in novel ipdates since the start of quarantine last March.. And this would be the first time I am commenting because I just can't resist with the fluff and everything. This novel is so well written. I finished reading all the chapters in just 1 day. It's highly recommended, you won't regret it?

Very sweet, incredibly fluffy and everything nice. This is a definite must read. The translation is impeccable, kudos to them. There's character growth, face slapping is so funny because most of the time, the MCs don't even do anything, lol.

As the title says, this is a HE novel. In this showbiz novel, MC is very likeable and is well protected by the ML. There is no misunderstanding and unnecessary drama and the villains gets what they deserved. Overall, a great read if you enjoy novels like Rebirth of a Movie Star and Rebirth of a Supermodel.
