AWWW. This story made me cry so much love MC and ML relationship and development of it. Truly amazing no words to describe it just read it. Translator-sama love you, you did such a great job.

I was disappointed in More Than A Few Blessings and Entertainment Industry Acting Emperor by the same author so I was hesitant to read this one, but I'm glad I did. I think you can see the author's growth in their writing.

This is good for what it is, a light feel good read, without too much depth. Not all the "bad guys" stay bad, there are a couple of brainless actors but that's par for the course in Chinese entertainment novels. The author did well with the length, right when... more>> I was starting to get bored, the author wrapped up the main story. The extras don't show much, no big time skip but I was okay with it.

Probably my only big complaint is that the MC is a bit too innocent, dense, kind hearted and this is coming from someone who likes those types of MC. I also thought the author could have explored the ML background more and his sudden recovery of a 20 year long psychological trauma was abrupt.

I'm probably liking it more than I usually would because I've read a lot of tr*sh lately. Can't comment on the translation, they hid the links and I couldn't figure out their password discord thing so I just MTLd it. <<less

Well while I like the development of the leads. I can't help that maybe around 15-30? It felt kinda long. I have read the raws and usually I can finished within like two days ended up three days. The first problem was that reading the raws until the end was satisfying but then second time reading the full translation its not as satisfying. Because the plot is generally netizen commenting about MC good and bad so like it became veey formulaic. While thats not bad it's something that appears a... more>> lot in showbiz related story or any that uses a platform. The villains are generic and very unformidable.

In conclusion its a gary stu story which also dabbles in issues like mental issues and child abuse. But it's a bit lacking when it comes to mental illness.

Example ML never interacts with his psycharities again not even a follow up. This guy shows up twice and was gone which for a mental illness seems rather unrealistic.

Therefore going forward you should regard it as not serious as much as it is unrealistic how the mental illness is being used.

Though I did end this story with a good not I would rate this around 3.9. It had good moments but I can't get rid feeling how long it felt reading the story. <<less

MORE THAN 5 STARS!!

Let me say everyone, this is a simple heart wrenching as well as heart touching story!! I won't say that this story is perfect, there is no such thing called perfect in this world!!

Both leads have very sad childhood. ML is bit psychologically affected by his childhood. But their story I would say it is one of the cutest of all!!

There are many heart touching lines!! All characters have their place and their purpose!! By looking at a glance it may seem like a simple story, but... more>> actually it is bit complex.

Not knowing how to love or to be loved, was it their fault?

It's just that I felt ML's story is really more tragic and too sad, the author didn't explain much. Mostly the story revolves around MC.

If you want a feel good novel, pick this one to read.

Li Zhao is such a happy go lucky person and looks at everything with such an optimistic frame of mind. He helps Yan Ting to change his own pessimistic frame of mind and start looking forward to every new day with Li Zhao there next to him.

This is an awesome story of how 2 such opposites people are able to find each other and fall in love together.

Very nice work. The fluff is mainly coming at the end though, when they finally confess. So don't expect real fluff before chap 80 or the like.

No smut as well.

I put 4 and not 5 stars cause in the end the MC would never have made it so big in life without ML. It's a bit of a pity because the overall message isn't that good. Comparing to Accidental Mark, I'm currently reading, the message is lacking. In that novel the ML is reluctant to help MC behind the scenes... more>> because it would taint the other hard work. This is not the case here as ML is always making grand gestures with or without the MC knowing. <<less

It's Perfect...!!! Yes, I Love it beyond words. I did not expect that.

Seriously, this novel has lot of unexpected moments! Based on summary alone, I would never expect the story to be like THAT!!! My gosh, I didn't expect this novel to have faceslappings, and then it has so much Satisfying Faceslapping moments!!!

MC is AbsolutelyWonderful Character! He's has this Innocent charm and personality but he's Definitely NOT Naive or/and s*upid! If people treat him good, he's good toward them. But if people being bad toward him, he wasn't merciful either.... more>> But he also won't do thing unless necessary. He's Unique in this case. And I'm Absolutely LOVING HIM SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!

ML is also Wonderful character with flaws and all. Very Supportive and Doting and Loving toward MC. He has Mental Illness from Past Trauma, and the novel didn't overdoing this nor play down this. It wasn't the main theme but nor it was something small. It was part of the plot though. That is discussed and cleared with reasonable reason.

This novel is also Unique because it has a Reborn Character and a Character that received Previous Life memories, wasn't related to both MC and ML in previous life but the made themselves relate to MC because reasons. And they have two different ending. One of them made this Novel very Refreshing with this Rare plot!

Both played the Villains who tried to step on the MC and destroy his successful life. But the first Villain's act of tried to be bad for MC actually end up getting MC's good side. And slowly he become this Highty Might Tsundere Friend of MC. The author did such amazing job at doing his character growth without change his character setting aka without make him OOC.

This Novel is Truly Wonderful! MC and ML is Wonderful. The Social Media moments is Wonderful. The Supporting Characters is Wonderful. The Faceslappings is Satisfying. The Plot is Fantastic. The Emotional moments is Emotional! It's not exactly perfect it's basically Perfect to me! I Love it with all my Heart and My Soul for the Eternity and Beyond!!! <<less

To be honest when I first started this story, I was thinking of dropping it around Chapter 40. I thought it isn't my cup of tea and there's a lot of errors in translation that also affects the reading experience. However, there's something in the story that keeps pulling me to click the next button again and again and read more of it. Now after finishing it, I will say I don't regret spending time to read it. The story plot was really good, the conflicts were resolved, and there's... more>> no question left unanswered.

For the ML and MC, it can be said that altho it wasn't mentioned, it is clear what is the ML's illness (altho it's a trauma and nothing too terrible). The MC looks naive at first but his story wasn't annoying, rather it was moving. The MC is independent from the start tho, and doesn't rely much to his friends or the ML. The ML's past wasn't disclosed but the bits of pieces mentioned will give you an outline of his childhood life. This story shows both the strength and weaknesses of the MC and ML, and also shows how they fit each other harmoniously.

At first, I was a bit disturb for the MC regarding the ML. It was bcs I thought he would turn out to be possessive or obsessed, but the ML turns out to be a henpecked husband.

Reading this was quite refreshing and I would have loved to read more, unfortunately there's only two extras left. I want to see how the fans would react after they disclosed their relationship. That would be a sight to see especially for the CP fans <<less

This novel left me a feeling same as its title, "Very Happy". I thought it will be a shallow. But fret not, it's totally a gem. Characters are well build. This novel also gave me few life lessons - about hardship, family, friendship, etc.

I feel very pity for MC and it taught me unexpected quite few things. I felt so bad with his struggle - but that was real and part of life.

ML was very very very sweet towards MC, but it was quite funny to see him a bit... more>> clueless. One of BL with healthy relationship, not kind of rich but overbearing trope. MC and ML grown together.

MC journey later on was quite smooth, I always thought probably his virtue from early life.

Some plots were too smooth, almost bit unrealistic - but it was only 2% and brought you back to happiness.

MC found his biological parents was too easy while there were still only two genes that looking for each other and TARAAAA it's matched.

Every small theatrical was amazing! Baby Zhaozhao and Baby Tingting ah I can't say. I really love these babies and how they portrayed story later on simplified with their daily.

Absolutely beautiful. Just wow. YXDY has been my favorite author since but this is the first BL i've read from here. And well, It did not disappoint!!!

MC is very pitiful but optimistic. I cried for him many times, , my heart can't take what he went thru. He's innocent, oblivious but very sly. If you step on him expect him to return it back to you ten folds. Sometimes, he won't even notice the enemy is out there, but his fans are also very powerful. If one directly confronts him,... more>> its either a psychological attack or physical attack which is up to my taste very very veryyyyyy much!!!

ML is so rich but so pitiful, meeting MC was like being given warm milk in the middle of the dead cold night. He's his salvation. He's mentally ill but because of MC, he strives to be better. ML supports MC in the background and even the executives of his company support MC because they know ML is his 'child'. He's also very pitiful.

I'm just very glad they have each other's back. I love them so so so much.

One thing,... MC didn't spend enough time with his newfound biological family... I wish this was longer.... <<less

For a very long time this novel is on my reading list. Im reluctant to read it because of the drama tag.

I was wrong... very wrong.

Yes the MC and ML both have a heartbreaking past but the rest of the story make up for it. I dont know what is it, but its both heartbreaking and heartwarming. Im confused but.... very happy 😊😁😘

This is one of the sweetest BL I have read so far. The MC is the most optimistic person you can find but he is not naive. He is no virg*n Mary as well and will hit back those who have offended him, especially if they cross his bottom line (which is the ML). The ML is someone on brink of mental collapse and is slowly brought back to love life thanks to MC. Both of them had a terrible childhood, while the other one became optimistic and learned how... more>> to make the best of situations, the ML turned cold and closed emotionally.

The translation as always is great, and I especially loved the extra notes about the kindergarten life of the two. Other characters are also well written; there is no real villain so not much excitement in that regard. The love they have for each other grow slowly and is so sweet.

So if you love BL don't miss this one.

I might pick this story up again, but as of chapter 56 I was just bored. ML is too stone faced for me, I just don't feel like there is much chemistry between the two. ML will only show emotions when MC is around (and it's BARELY any emotion), but as soon as MC is gone it's like he's dead inside. MC is weirdly optimistic, but not dumb. He's just very lucky in a very unlucky life haha and he's able to recognize schemes for what they are. At least... more>> he doesn't fall for s*upid tropes. ML is nice, I really wanted to know more about his past trauma's to make him the way he is, but I'm just too bored at this point. Side characters are fine, I like how the people around ML really care about him and his well being. Haven't even really gotten to a REAL main villain. Just hints of a few.

Might be a pick up again for another day. <<less

So, so good. The MC is not nearly as naive as you think in the beginning. He is definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing, but still a kindhearted person who is so optimistic for life despite what he has experienced. I cried a few times reading this but it was very uplifting in the end. Highly recommend!
