Fun enough, so far. How-e-ver...I really want to make fun of the ML this arc.

'He coldly stared' this and 'his expression was cold' that. His cold expression had to have been mentioned at least four times a chapter. Why is a popsicle ML? He's not even a CEO yet, just some jobless rich guy mooching off his parents, thinking about starting a business. I'd rather ship MC with his own system, at this rate.

I somehow missed the 'seme protagonist' tag. So... the uke male lead being sold as your typical domineering ML with 'coldness' being used for every other adjective and adverb was actually the setup to a joke. I shouldn't have taken the story so seriously when I first reviewed. Comedy is not one of the tags given, but it's definitely in there. <<less

Completely enjoyable. This is for those who are annoyed or bored with the mainstream tortured MC loving scumbag ML. Retribution is the best medicine and forgiveness is only a word. Arc 1 is easy to MTL and Arc 2 is a bit tricky cause it's a cultivation world but still bareable. The translator is really good at doing thier job.

Knoxt Translator here! I loved this story, when Bear Cub translations stopped and deleted their posted chapters I was sad. Seeing as how it had been almost two years with no one picking it back up me and my team decided to pick it up and give it the attention it deserved at hopefully a quality as good as them. We post one chapter a week and while I know it can feel a bit slow as a reader, it gives us enough time to research phrases or slang we... more>> might not know or check with other translators on things then my editor and proofreader have time as well to properly check over each chapter before they are posted for your enjoyment!

If you like to wait until an Arc is finished then you can check the chapter index page where I have them listed, or the little number I added in the chapter titles to tell you how many are in that particular Arc.

That said, having our project sniped by another person is discouraging. As the readers, you have the right to choose who you want to support with your views and comments. But this act of sniping, in my personal opinion, should not be tolerated. There is a rule of three months of inactivity before picking up a project from another, and this type of rude behavior has driven away many good and hardworking translators.

Story review

I personally like the Gong MC and Shou ML format and remember loving this story when I MTL'd the whole thing a few years ago. It's a good read, funny, and more character-oriented than plot. A few arcs are a bit 'head-scratchy' if you are either not familiar with the arcs sub-genre or how certain words/phrases are used in CN. But overall if you have the ability please go to the authors jjwxc page and buy the chapters and read them with google translate to mtl! <<less

It was pretty good so far. I totally enjoyed it. It doesn't have too many dramas and everything is solved simply and efficiently. If you don't want too many dramas and misunderstanding this is totally for you.

It was a light and enjoyable novel. I like how MC slowly get sensible and ML always loved him from the start. ML trusts our MC (gong), that point is appreciable. And the side story of the system and his lover is also cute!!!

Well, this is the first time I am commenting on any novel. I cant do well. In short, you better give it a shot.

Finished arc one and it wasn't really for me. The trouble was resolved too quickly and it felt like there was something missing from the revenge. I just found it not as satisfying even though the scum got served. The romance also wasn't great either, but it wasn't terrible. Overall, an okay read if you want to pass your time.

The MC is a little silly and naive but the relationships each time are cute, and I am staying to finish this because the MC! Definitely! Does not! Forgive the scumbag OG-MLs! The villains are a bit out-there but honestly I've read similarly crazy things in dogblood/face-slapping novels, so it's not that big of a problem for me. Each arc is short enough to be simple and almost refreshing? 5*!

Okay read. Arcs are short, little bit funny, little bit drama, fast romance. Father-son relationship of host and system. Xie Chenyang is supposed to be 18 thousands something years old but I always had feeling that his emotional grow stuck on 18 and at the end even become 8. Chu Jun is quite stable compared to his big baby of boyfriend.

Yes they knew each other before first meeting, they are martial brothers under one teacher in some immortal realm and that world jumping basically was scheme by Chu Jun and others to let Xie Chenyang look at his martial brother as someone new, or more accurate as just him without that "we're brothers, there's can't be any romance between us". As in reality Chu Jun didn't dare to gamble and let his feelings to be known being afraid of losing their already existed bond. Although I had feeling that everyone already know about his feelings except Xie Chenyang lol

i love the chemistry between the system and MC. The worst part is, I even thought tht the system is the ml. I also like tht the newcomer MC is veryy novice, can't act, sometimes an idiot in a comical way and all at first which is refreshing for me lmao so cute. Story plot is nice but the ML is mehh for now

It's so funny that the rating is mid when there are so many 5 stars reviews. Honestly, it's a good novel, very old, one of the first gong pov novels I read, I revisited since there nothing new in the genre lately, so the 5 stars are nostalgia ones. But it's just so good when you want a brain rot sweet time, is just so sweet and scum punch satisfactory.

I remember thinking how funny is making a steel iron become rubber.
