I really like the prose and the personality of our MC. Their love seems genuine eventhough it start with violence. I'm not a fan of the ending, if you like more poignant ending read only until ch28.

I was surprised at how much I liked this story. It's really just a smutty story story, but the author manages to fit a lot into the 30ish chapters. There's s*x (surprisingly explicit for a Chinese novel), rehabilitation, betrayal, friendship, self-sacrifice, revenge.

I loved the relationship, it was heart breaking and warming in turns. The translator summarized it perfectly when he/she called it a rollercoaster. Towards the end, just keep in mind that there's no tragedy tag and power through the tears to the happy ending.

I guess if this was a... more>> longer story, I would be more upset at how they fall in love (it feels like they fall in love through sex), and how even though it's yaoi, the demon sect Master acts like a typical female lead (weak, needs protection at every turn, and only knows how to self sacrifice). However, for a short story, none of these issues detract that much from the sweet story. <<less

What a sweet story, I felt sad. and then good reading this story after eating my smarties... lol

Will wait for the translation. I have enjoyed reading this short story. Psycho is such a sweet person.

Good god, it's depressing! I loved the psycho. He's such a sweetheart and treats sect master like a queen (mostly) I would love to know his backstory and how he lost his marbles. Bittersweet ending and I ended up liking the sect master way more than I expected to. This really left me with a bittersweet ache.

Woahhhh, wat a ride this was! I started reading this tomorrow and completed the main text by 2 am. Then today in the morning I have finally read the extras and have completed this journey.

Hmmm... wat to say, well for starters, the extras were sweet! I'm especially happy with the part wity the whole fam and our lil baby langyue. I like how the extras wrapped up the whole story.

For the main story, I don't have anything special to say, it was as it should be but there... more>> is one thing that really made me annoyed and I was done with the MC and story at that point. That thing is

why tf would he do something when specifically told not to worry about. Yes, I'm talking about tryna heal the ML and then all the drama that ensued after that.

Tho as it all got solved in the end and both the MC and ML were healthy and well and we got a Happy Ending, I'm fine with it now. Wat matters to me most is a HE and I got that. So yeah, it was an interesting ride for sure.

One of the best I've read.

Don't be fool by the r*pe scenes guys, this is a jewel, the MC a ML have a nice interaction and relationship (putting apart the r*pe scenes ofc), I would like to say that this history would like me more if the ML were more obsessive over the MC (because I love obsessive ml), but I'm satisfied with the characters and the development of the plot.

Also, I would like there were more extras where the ML show jealousy of something like that, but unfortunately the... more>> history is short and we don't have the opportunity to read something or more of those jealousy and obsessive ML moments.

Good short story, kind of different, despite few plot holes in my opinion, kept my curiosity interested enough till the end. I like the two main characters and their sincere love story. Qi deviation>memory loss>love>drama>happy ending... can't be bad right? +Mild smut but beware of r*pe. Translation is good.

I love the relationship between the MC and ML their love although it started off rocky and one-sided turns into a loving couple. I don't have much complaint about it other than it being somewhat generic in my mind because it's a typical Stockholm syndrome love story. Nothing much of a surprise it's overall a good story but just not one I would read again anytime soon.

It was alright. I like the MC but the ML was only so so. It just seemed like the ML only started treating the MC well out of guilt until he got his memories back. The angsty problem during the last couple of chapters was cleared quite easily and anticlimactic too. It's an okay read if you're just looking for a short read.

When some comments says the novel is cute, I dont get it at all.

The supposed former demon sect aka MC is a dumbass. After being r*ped by ML (not just once at that), he forgave him again and again. Reason? U dont need a reason to forgive him, just let the ML say sorry and bring him some flower, and we re clear.

So...

The translation was really good.

The story was very difficult to read at the beginning because of r*pe, that was very unsettling to read, I was super uncomfortable. But in general was a quick and good reading, the story is good but I didn't really would read it again.

I would give it 3, 5 max. I decided to round it 4 because of the translation.
