That #r*pe tag showed how MC did it "not in his right mind" due to Qi Deviation. Yes, at some part made me so uncomfortable and wander how the ML still so forgivable when his limbs deattached. Maybe that was Love?

Apart from that, the plot was quite good, some angst, relationship was also quite nice, yet why I felt that Nannan sacrifice more than what he gained? Once again, maybe that was Love?

Like if you want a great plot and intense drama, detailed description and cliffhanger then it's not for you.

But if you just want a simple love story with

And yes I'll call it cute and sweet. Were many things that does not make sense or shouldn't be making sense but We will kindly neglect them and just enjoy this love story.

No really, it's good if you take nothing seriously, or you really read the tags and ready yourself for worse. It actually made sense why the ML did that to the MC. And the angst at the end lol I love it

Surprisingly good. It had some plot holes and usual cliches I have come to expect in Chinese LN of this genre - random illogical plot points to get the MC to sacrifice himself and force fit tons of needless angst. But I can put myself through that if the rest of the plot, pacing and character building are reasonably good. This novel does that reasonably well. It started dragging towards the end. So once I knew they'd end up together, I bailed. Not a bad read overall though.

The writing is good, but the plot jumps around too much, and the ending, while HE, doesn't make much sense. Neither does the romance - I don't mind the r*pe, but it's not believable that both MC and ML fall in love to that extent. It especially doesn't make sense for the ML, it should have been better developed. Short and easy read though.

I don't like the MC at all, which makes it unbearable for me to continue reading the book and much less finishing it. Also the ML seems to be going along all because of guilt.

3. Acts like a mistress (u know wat I mean -.-)

4. Is slow-witted and average as his teacher says

5. Cheap Shou: literally gets tormented [e.g clear as day of being treated as a substitute whether in the past or present, limbs dislocated, genuine bites, and ripped bloodied anus] but still stays with him.

6. Relies a lot on ML

I don't know whether his character development deepens as the chapter goes but I for sure am not interested enough to continue on.

Quite interesting and sweet novel.

Even when ML was insane he took good care of MC. MC was sect leader though not so powerful but he tried his best to cure ML. When misunderstanding between them was cleared up they become sweet couple. Liked the smut also. MC did give a son to ML.இ﹏இ

Plot was good, little bit story here and there. Worth giving try. |^_^|

I really liked the beginning when they were in the cave despite the r*pe (I was prepared for that thanks to the tags and summary). Inner dialogue that MC had, was funny. Also, psycho was caring and doting so as reader I can forgive him as he was truly nuts.

After that the story became somewhat 'tame' in comparison to the beginning? There are quite some smut scenes but the plot felt somewhat flat. Although the story itself was fine, ML was kind and like a gentleman (except when he had... more>> an episode), it lost a bit of its charm and the feels from the cave arc.

Overall, the story was OK. Not mind blowing, just interesting enough to finish it. <<less

A full of feels story. I can't count how many times I checked the tags to ensure that this isn't a tragedy because I shed a tear or two. Plot is simple but well written and translated! It is about the struggle of a sect master to not fall in a pit, but ended up falling, my heart is in pain for him from start to finish.

MC, the demonic sect master is so cute and I liked his attitude, I also sometimes laughed at his internal monologues. Even though he's from a demonic sect, he's very upright and more righteous than those from the righteous sect. BTW he fell in love first but doesn't realized it yet. ML on the other hand is so cute at first, then became cold in the middle then became good to his wife. He's got character development yo~

MC is not a smart powerful one. But he was kind and know how to survive. It was just he did not have a life where people give him kindness thus he fell in love with ML. It was sad to remember he was fell in love despite of his suffering just because he didn’t used to kindness.

Don’t get me wrong, ML is very kind and love him to death, but there’s angst in between the stories. He’s crazy by the way, when he r*ped MC. So it was not... more>> hurt. I cried in three chapter, so prepare for it.

The smut was not explicit, just to satisfy us mentioning there is a fiery bed activities between both of them.

Romance? Very sweet.

Conclusion: A must read. Light and (not so) short stories. <<less

Noncon/dubcon issues set aside, I really enjoyed it! Short, smutty, & you get a little pup at the end! I adored that. Would definitely reread only because some scenes were the type of dramatic angst that I enjoy suffering through.

It's a really such a precious story! I love stories with r*pe/non-con, but "r*pe victim becomes lover" trope really turns me off. This story manages to combine both things in a very palatable way since

See the tags. Read it with an open mind.

It's a very short read. The translation is okay, the angst was enjoyable, and the way the MC tried to hide the truth (I like angst especially when I know it's a happy ending lol (to see how the characters move about)). The arts were also delicious. Although it was stated that he was a sect master and from a demonic sect, he didn't want the position and his birdcage-like life. The name and standing of a sect does not determine a... more>> person's nature (there could also be immoral characters from good sects especially when they're driven by greed and/or power). He wanted to be free, but his life and identity doesn't permit him so (I feel bad for his past, and I'm thankful for it because if it wasn't so, how would he be able to encounter the ml, save the ml, and the other results). That's why although the happenings between him and the ML in that cave was not desirable in the least, he admitted that it was also the freest moments in his life. I'm a lil shookth tho on how a sect could still produce someone like the MC, his characteristics seems unfit for his role. The ML although a psycho, has a reason to be crazy. The way he treated the MC besides the consumation was stated that he could get the moon for the MC, especially after he recovered

His position came as a surprise. The world building also felt like the ml's sect is too powerful. The child in the end was a surprise lol. I'm happy for them (Also for them maintaining connection with the mc's fomer sect and for them to rebuild). The antagonists got their karmas served and it was truly a happy ending

A literal roller coaster ride for my emotions and im very surprised I enjoyed it

Ive held this story on my to read list for quite some time and only recently was I able to sit down and read this.

Note to everyone that there will be r*pe and oh boy thats not okay my dudes. That aint rad. So those were my reasons why I was holding this off cus I just felt I wasn't ready for this story yet. ALWAYS READ THE TAGS

but reading this story with a more open... more>> standing, I was able to enjoy the story and how the plot goes for our two protagonists and see whats going on with them and the WHYs

Why did he do that? Why did he accepted that? Why did he think of it that way? Why was he insane? What happened???

Yeah those will be answered, especially if you pick up the clues along the way to understand the characters <<less

Woow this absolutely surpassed my expectations! Came for the rare danmei smut and stayed for the story! It's very short and worth the read. Emotional roller coaster at times but will leave you satisfied. The only thing I would knock points off is two things, the MC is not the smartest and..

I quite liked this one!

It does say r*pe, so if you're uncomfortable with it, just skip it. There isn't much on the emotional consequences of r*pe. The MC is more indignant and angry that he's being pressed down than his being forced. However, there are emotional scenes, so it's not exactly a carefree read either.

The story focuses more on the relationship than anything else. Even if there's a side plot of righteous vs demonic cultivators, it's pretty much to deepen the two's relationship. I'm somewhat disappointed that there isn't more... more>> on the MC's position as sect master, but other than that I liked the story.

As long as you don't hold high expectations, it's an enjoyable read. <<less

It was fairly a good novel. The flow of the story is good and the very first chapter already has a papapa.

... more>> I just did not like the fact that seme had a wife and supposedly unborn child before.

Seme is also very possessive of uke. It just kinda makes me sad cause they could've been a power couple if only seme does not stop uke from fighting for fear that his beloved might get hurt.

This novel also made me almost cry. It thought that uke will die but his protag halo is still shining very brightly. <<less

I like this story as its a bit different from most of the others I have read recently but you have to get past the first few chapters set in the cave. It's a pretty short story so it's not as detailed as some others out there but since there are only a small handful of characters, that makes it a bit easier to read.
