tbh I cried after reading this. It's honestly so sweet and it touches your heart,

I really learned a lot about life and the pursuit of happiness through reading this novel.

Thanks for Zubeneschamali For translating this novel, it was a good novel I enjoyed reading it very much. (Ps:- To all those complaining about comment made by Zubeneschamali, I think we aren't qualified to complain as it is entirely Zubeneschamali right to translate however she/he wishes, we should be thankful that atleast it's getting translated, if you guys can't stand comments learn to ignore them or don't read them, just don't complain it's not our place to do)

3.5 this is so conflicting. There is one thing that saved the romance while another elevated the book slightly. The former is the fl's father. He legitimately saved this couple. The latter is the social commentary on cyberbullying, personal identity, and living for yourself - believe it or not, it did pretty good.

Both of these things are in the 2/5 later half of the novel. I understand if you don't like the novel if you dropped before getting there, because I have to admit.... This is the straightest man I... more>> have ever read and I am not talking about sexuality here, I am talking about PERSONALITY. It was actually painful to read the mind of the MC bc of this. This kind of straight man.. yeah no. But, you see, this is a growth novel.

Aka people are growing in this novel, so if you don't read until the end you won't see probably the most realistic healthy relationship between two people who are very different making it work, again realistically. In the end, it's because the fl's father pointed out what needed to be done and we are grateful. And they did the work. It's about commitment and love - and how they got there.

The first 3/5 of the book is painfully kinda romcom with high stereotypical leads, but honestly, these people exist irl and then they became very real imo when they "evolved" persay in the latter 2/5 part.

I recommend if you like positivity, social commentary, and 2 opposites making it work by doing the work. You legitimately have to read the whole thing to like it imo, which is what happened for me. The straight man almost made me drop it, but I too stayed committed lmao.

Personally, after reading the cnovel trans, I would recommend just mtling until the other translator decides to add spaces between paragraphs (the person also summarizes sometimes btw which is what they said so that's mostly why I turned to mtl) because the lack of readability I realized as well was ruining my enjoyment of the novel, which I didn't think was fair. Just my recommendation if you're finding it hard to read. <<less

YT and QZQ got married, . Adopted Shitou and had a son. The son is so cute. YT also developed a career as a publisher/writer. Then there are 2 extras about WuFei and Zoe.

I like it. It's sweet. And the ML is adorable. Their conversation can sometimes be too tedious to read because it's too wordy and too cheesy. You won't imagine it's 2 adults talking to each other. It's like two high schooler in love. Sometimes, you'll just find yourself agreeing with the sarcastic remarks of the translator.

It's a good story. Just that it could have been condensed to a shorter story. Don't miss the extra because their son is cute and funny. <<less

Such a breath of fresh air. This book is infused with so much positivity even the translator's (Zuben's) comments didn't detract me. Just ignore everything in (). The 2 leads are as different as night and day. 1 was a calm, rational, serious workaholic and the other, a happy go lucky romantic. I love the MC so much!! We need more people like her in our lives. This is not a perfect story but I still want to give it a full 5 starts because it could move me. It's slightly different from other romance story because it's told from ML's POV.

ML isn't some overbearing CEO or some second generation kid who inherited the company from his parents. On the contrary, he came from a poor family at the countryside. He successfully became a VP in a renowned company after years of hardworking. He's a very serious and logical person who always think pros and cons before... more>> doing something. He did that too when he searched for a life partner. That's why he decided to consider dating his former college's classmate who is as workaholic as him because they are very similar.

That's until he met FL. FL is the opposite of ML. She's carefree, cheerful, and doesn't like to be a career woman. She could always find a beauty from even a bad thing and she slowly changes ML's viewpoint. For the first time, he gives in to love and decides to chase FL although he knew they are vastly different from each other.

This is a slow pace romance story so some of you may find it boring. But I think the story's length is just right and the ending is also satisfying. <<less

This is my first time to leave review and I feel like a sinner if I dont love my thought about this story wkwk..

This is story just LOVE!! I really really how relatable the charas is! Like how the author not make the plot twist as face slapping table but as the road for the actual character growth for the MC and ML.. There is some major obstacles for the MC n ML to be together but it just so inspiring the author dont make it to be some tear... more>> jerking drama but to be a smart, relatable almost comedic story instead LOL Im glad the author gave the love rival some justification in the end even if the beginning she is annoying but she is really pityful and remarkable female warrior! I highly recommended if you like modern romance settings. This is a very cute, sweet and funny at times story. It's about a girl who's looking for love and a guy who at first didn't care but slowly discovered he doesn't want a love without feelings and just for companionship. ahhh... honestly, this is one of the most refreshing reads of all time granted i've already read this a long time ago but still, the story is still memorable. definitely a great read and would recommend if you like a slow gradual romance with lots of fluff (well, for me it was ^^)
