The protagonist is a face-con – he likes good-looking people, can’t say no to a pretty visage and is filled with thoughts of love. One day he bonded with a target-capture system where he can travel from world to world and experience love with the most handsome (key point!) target!

The number of players in each game is not set. The protagonist has only one target – the most handsome one. As he falls in love, he realizes… the other players perhaps, maybe, probably… have Horror? Survival? Escape-type games?

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

I was actually expecting more at the end where is the smut? Why no smut? and the extra. Overall, very cute and sweet and thrilling.

I'm usually very generous with ratings, easily giving 5 stars to the novels as long as they satisfy me despite any ups and downs. But sadly I had to give it a 4 because even though this novel was fun to read, the ending was rushed even though it was a HE. it kind of left a bad aftertaste.

I usually don't like horror BLs, i've only read 3 besides this and out of those I absolutely didn't like one and even though 1 of them is extremely fun, but it... more>> lacks something. In short, horror is not my cup of tea but I really did like this. Horror in novels doesn't scare me and it was the same for this one, but I definitely enjoyed the mystery solving of each horror games (thats the only thing I like in other horror novels too) but I will definitely admit there were parts in this that sent chills down my spine.

And amidst all the horror ongoing, I absolutely loved the romance of our main couple.I think this can be attributed to the fact that MC wasn't some genius scheming or dumb blushy guy but a normal dude who was a face-con, seriously the fact that he was a face-con just added something to the story and made it so funny and fluffy.

On the other hand, regarding the ML, I will actually praise this novel to actually do something other novels don't do much. The author gave the ML in each world different and unique personalities which were extremely likable.

arc1-Sun Mon was silent yet still innocent teenager experiencing his first love

Arc 2-The gentle yet cunning Austin just literally stole my hear

Arc 3-The most cute of them all little doll Mo

Arc4-The possessive pe*vert Gu Ze who for me was extremely likable because instead of scheming he just always told the MC what he wanted.

I had my share of fun reading this and I loved this a lot as it had the right amount of romance, comedy and mystery (horror) hyping me up to binge it. This is really a good novel I would recommend reading but it doesn't get 5 stars because of the rushed and poorly done ending.

About the ending, here i'll leave some spoilers

The MC just arrived at the 1st sanatorium and just decided to give up on his family out of nowhere and asked for combining all the MLs' data. Then the main system just suggested him to become data and there it just ends... like wtf? And I don't even get stuff about the main system. It said something about being interested in MC (since boss data is part of it) but it was never explained that did it love him or not?then the end ML was the main system (because the boss data is a part of it and he likes the MC?) ?Or was the end ML all the boss data split off from main system?The extra just showed the MC and ML flirting in of the game worlds. Even though it was cute, I wanted explanations too

Lol, want to give 4 star. This story is not bad but it's not really very good, there's alot of plotholes but its a fun read. I like horror genre. MC face con is very serious until it's really not logical. And dome scene are abit confusing too. But I just read along, so it's not really bad. Some are really heartwarming. Especially the doll village. And the cutest! After it I want to hugs my doll to sleep. Thank you

This was a fun novel!

The MC is very interesting though quite simple minded and we, like him, are only along for the ride.

No dog blooded dramas, the horror isn’t that scary (and I’m quite the scary catty) and even though it seems difficult, the HE is arranged simply and neatly.

The ending was kind of a surprise by how quickly everything was resolved, but after all there weren’t many plot points for us to find out. Usually each arc (and there are only 5 which is good because it’s enough for... more>> us to know the characters but not enough for us to get tired of them) is self sufficient, all the mysteries explained at the end.

Definetly recommend it! <<less

I did enjoy reading this. There are 5arcs, so 5 games. MC is not like any other 'player' of a survival game, here he didnt really interact with other players, and didnt really care for what would happen to players. MC only thrived to do his own scenario. Readers might get confused of trying to find MC's purposes, so I suggest readers to just read until 3rd arcs.

Overall, all the arcs were accumulation of MC and ML scene times.

I agree with the translator. A pretty rush ending, that still made... more>> me confused of what exactly happened with the ending.

Nevertheless, it's a good read and I recommend everyone to read. The ending is just a fraction of unimportant element lol <<less

Excellent translation, the only reason I finished reading this novel.

Otherwise, I kept thinking that the story would get deeper, that the MC would slowly develop out of being a face-con, (there was some slight foreshadowing in the earlier chapters to the MC realizing himself how shallow he is and being helpless to the fact), and that it would be really amazing if there was a world where the ML was physically ugly to test the MC's "true feelings"...

But it never happened.

No character development whatso-ever, not even in the ML.... more>> Just a walk in the park with some vivid horror descriptions. I would recommend this if you like endless tension-less fluff. <<less

One of the best binge read horror romance novels to read.

All of the arcs are well phased in terms of horror, romance and comedey. It's really funny how shameless of a face-con the MC is and how fluffy all the MLs in each world are.

The doll arc was one of the most creepiest and also cutest MLs in the story 🤭.

... more>> Translation is also great being able to deliver the emotions of the author.

The ending feels a bit rushed in someways but I like the idea the MC was able to be at 'peace' with his MLs before the end of the story.

All in all it is binge read worthy to read 😊 <<less

bUT f*ck THAT ENDING. IT WAS TOO ABRUPT TT_TT I am left bereft. It has a happy ending but I feel the author doesn't tie it up in a big pretty bow but more throws it in a paper bag and presents it to us as done. It goes from a normal horror instance to dues-ex machina ending of meeting the end boss and ending the story without enough fluff with the end boss! That's my biggest issue! Not enough fluff at the end....
