The MC is a face-con not a bad thing I suppose. However each new "world" he goes into it is the main topic for the first chapter or so. The idea behind the story is pretty good and the delivery is mostly good. But I really had a hard time getting past the repetition of the face-con, there are only so many ways to say the same thing. MC also had pretty much no regard for the others that were in the world with him, even if they did not... more>> have the same objectives he could have been a bit more magnanimous toward those who were in the life or death struggle and had that as a redeeming quality. <<less

I literally never wrote a review before but seeing all the bad reviews on here, I just had to take the time to write this.

This is by far the most fun novel I've read in a long time and I've read ALOT of novels. It's got both horror and comedy elements which makes it very funny at points. The characters are also very likeable. The MC is a total facecon which I can see why it would usually bother people but trust me it's handled really well in this novel.... more>> The overall vibe is fun and it doesn't drag to the point of getting boring.

The ML has unique quirks and personality with each arc which is a common thing in worldhoppi g novels. I liked all his version tbh especially 3rd one.

All in all the novel was very enjoyable and definitely worth the read. My only complaint would be that the ending is rushed but other than that 10/10 would definitely recommend reading. I know i'll be rereading it a lot later! <<less

This is not a novel for everyone, and the reason mainly revolves around the MC face-con. If you find this concept hilarious and tragic (the MC finds his proclivities to be tragic as well), then you will enjoy this story. If you are offended by his "i just can't help but let pretty faces blind me", then you are in for a bad time.

I found all of this to be cute, and I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this romance while dead bodies are piling around them... more>> (could've used more gore though...)

As someone else said, arc three is a kinda bad ending. I did feel bad for the doll who had just been told he'd have someone stay together with him and then have that person disappear... However, at the same time, I'm not sure it would have been good for the MC to stay there, so...

I wish all the MLs were the same person T-T Instead, they're just similar groups of data that sometimes happen to retain memories from the others. So they're sorta the same but not really. And this is the other reason I hesitated on reading this so long.

And there's one more thing about the MC which is stated in the first chapter or so and therefore is not a spoiler... he's 18. So some of his reactions to things are juvenile because he's only barely an adult.

In the fourth arc I thought it was hilarious that he's actually being treated as a child and was given candy. But too, in the first arc he gave that boss candy, so... makes sense.

I completely finished this around over the span of a week.
I enjoyed the comical aspects, the MCs reaction to things, and also found it amusing when he wasn’t the brightest (sometimes a dumb MC can be entertaining to read) I also liked the more possessive characters, and how the plot changed along with each of the male leads different mind frames.

I have to say the ending of the story is a bit rushed, and I wasn’t exactly sure on the ending.

HUUUGGGEEE SPOILER IF YOU'RE GONNA READ DONT. I assume the ending was the data which created the horror games and worlds, made the MC data like himself, then took all of the love virus (the mls) and incorporated them all into his system making them one person. However it didn’t really go into detail so I can’t tell.
And it would’ve been nice if the MC went back through all his lovers, they’d have a couple last sentences one on one and then be merged, cause he made a lot of promises of going back, none of which were met by the end of the story. Although the story didn’t explicitly state the data even merged them all.

my favourite world was definitely the third, dolls creep me out yet I liked the strange mind the ML had, and how you kinda new it was for the best he didn’t stay in that world.

I relate to the character as a fellow face simp (not as bad as the MC but still hahaha), and I enjoyed the first 3 stories with their respective ML's a lot but the latter parts seemed a bit rushed, making it hard to fully enjoy it. Thank you a lot for translating this, the ride was very fun and enjoyable albeit the ending was a bit lackluster. It was also refreshing to see romcom and horror mixed into one. The idea was also very unique and interesting I only wish the last two arcs (and the ending) had more care into them. <<less

Basically ML was a data connected to each other. They have their own programs but bcs some MLs found out about the "truth" of the world like them being "NPC", it created a bug that makes their data jumbled and mixed up. This created the 1vs1 scenario of ML being one entity (in this case, data).

Some said MC's love was shallow bcs in the first place, he was just a face-con, but I think otherwise. I feel like the MC actually fell in love with the 2nd ML which is Austin.

He doesn't actually want Austin to say the "magic word" and was even willing to stay in that world for him. It just takes some time I guess. In the other Arcs, he wasn't even able to savor the life of being in love compared to the 2nd Arc bcs of the "Escape Game" the others were playing.

I think what I don't like in this story is that, the MC was portrayed as a scum bcs of certain circumstances. Instead of enjoying the blissful love life he got, he ends up rushing out of the world because of the conflict with the task of the other players.

The first, third, and fourth arc. He actually seems reluctant to leave the ML but because he was the game boss and was the task of the other players, he can only rush his own objectives and clear his game.

According to the thoughts of the main system, he was the center and in control of all datas. He released the "love system" bcs of curiosity and ended up with a virus that's basically being "addicted/obsessed/love MC" so much. In short, all the ML was the main system and them retaining their memories was bcs of the virus. At the extra, I got confused bcs the author referred to ML as the "main system".

Kinda confusing but it's like a circle. The main system was basically divided into smaller datas as MLs which MC encountered in different worlds, and by wanting them to be one, it means all the datas will merge back with the main system. So basically, the ML was the main system.

It's like in other World Hopping/Unlimited flow novels which only have one ML being divided into different worlds. In here though, instead of soul, it was data.

Love the idea/concept of this story. Kinda common but unique at the same time. Others find it a pity that after merging, the ML seems to lose his other characteristics from other worlds, but I think by merging, he basically became another being who have the experiences of the others. They were still them, but instead of having multiple personalities conflicting each other, he has his own personality.

He remembers being Sun Mo in the first world, remember being Austin at the second world and meeting MC for the second time. Remember being Momo and experiencing life with MC for the third time. He remembers his life as Gu Ze, and lastly he remember meeting him at the seventh sanatorium as Shen Chi.

He was one entity divided into different datas, but as the datas merge back to him, He will only be one being who remembers that he experienced different worlds with MC with different identities and personality.

It became complicated I guess bcs the ending of the story was kinda rushed. Some things were left unexplained and even the extra didn't show how the datas of the other MLs were merged. But with the author's way of referring to ML in the end, you can basically draw your own conclusion of what happened.

Overall, the story was a great read. I kinds got bored halfway but I actually finished it after reading for the second time. It was really good and enjoyable. Some parts were disgusting bcs of the horror theme but still, it was satisfying and fun <<less

To honest, I don't like horror and tried reading some after I fell in love with 'Supernatural Movie Actor App' but only this one that I enjoyed after I decided to drop the horror genre from my reading list. HIGHLY. RECOMMEND

Please! Stop what you're doing and take a moment to read this. I'm grinding my teeth this was so much dog food, so much~

Let me start by saying: You want yandere ML? This is the place my friend. Please watch our MC charm yandere men left and right.

MC is a simple man, he's very cute. He's not the cunning type of MC who solves everyone's problems, nor is he heartless. He's a caring, simple guy who is charged with making the best looking NPC fall in love with him, this... more>> face-con guy. While he is doing this, he shares the world with other players who are playing a different game: survivors in a horror setting. Don't worry about getting attached to the horror players, they aren't "good".

Honestly I really resonated with his face-con characteristic, so his "love" was much to my liking. I've seen some people here complain that isn't truly loving the ML but I felt like the MC loved them pretty well. I'm a firm believer that love language is quite complicated and what some might see as "cheap" can be considered by others as "loving".

Another complaint I saw was that the MC never learned? For example, he would be foolish and try to help the horror players over and over again. I didn't find this to be the case. MC learns from every encounter and becomes more wary of the other players as the worlds progress.

I want to take a moment to thank the translators for their hard work, this was absolutely wonderful and I can't thank them enough.

My only complaint.... why is there no smut?? Why? THIS READER HAS COMPLAINTS! I want some smut... (T--T) <<less

I read this a last year, and only re-read it bcs Austin came to me in a dream and told me to post a review.

The story is about MC who died and got roped into the love game system. He’s a face con and somehow always got a crush on the hidden boss. It’s an easy read and I would recommend it to anyone who’s just bored, but wants to read something sweet, but not too fluffy.

This novel is really cute, and sometimes could be hot and other times gory. But it’s over all a light read. It has so many interesting concepts, but doesn’t quite explore it thoroughly before ending it. So it does feel a bit rushed, which is quite a shame.

THE CONCEPTS: bcs I wanna gush over some of the stuff in the story. SPOILERS ALERT!

In here, ML really was bound to the plot of the instance. For instance, he could give MC some privileges as his boyfriend, but he can’t stop the game because: 1) other characters may react badly to him stopping the game, and 2) because it’s the system and he can’t mess with the system

MY RESPONSE TO USUAL CRITICISM:

Some readers thought that MC cause the death of other characters, but imo, that’s unfair. The horror games were meant to be near-impossible to survive. Some of these people only survive bcs MC spends literally 5 secs around them, so ML helps them.

MC even assist the horror game players by either telling others about what ML told him, or gave instance’s material to some other people who he could help, since he didn’t need it anyway. At one point he even have ML spread flyers containing information on the plot of the instance that wasn’t supposed to be known easily.

But he’s not a holy mother, so he never did attempt to, like, protect everybody— no one should die. <<less

Very cute, very fluff, has a lot of dog food wich I like, is also funny. Is a light story with no much brain or plot twist but is intertain and make me read until the end.

Because of some things I was thinking about giving 4 stars but I tough that maybe it would be too petty of me since I liked the story enogh to read until de end and enjoyed

One of these things is de fact that I am not really sure that MC loves ML and dont... more>> just like his face, he may like ML but I dont think it can be called true love. In the beginning I tough that it would be developed during history, but until the end of history little or nothing about it has changed.

I pity ML, he’s too miserable. MC is kind of a scum, always abandoning ML in each world after make them confess and then going to the next one like nothing happened. Little doll was the most miserable, in the last arc MC made a adult men cry.

Among them all the one I liked the best is Austin for sure, and I think MC liked he the most too. I wish there was more of him, in the end I think he just got one or two chapters.

talking about the ending, it was rushed and abrupt, there's not much to say about it. Well, the extra was cute.

It was interesting and fast to finish but not much horror as romance was the main focus. Since its split into arcs it was finished pretty quickly but some where a little boring and the end arc was rushed and confusing. Although overall it was good there a lot of nitpicks that bothered me by the end.

Great for a unique romance but not a romance horror.

Can I say that this was very unique?

If you want to read a world hopping with different scenarios from other quick transmigration stories you can give this a try.

It's not the most satisfactory reading, because I felt the world building was constructed in a very small scale and the MC didn't dwell much on his feelings (no, I am not saying he is shallow because he's a facecon) but for the most part he seemed emotionally lacking.

I read it in one day, and I don't regret this reading, so all... more>> is good.

It's a HE, 1x1.

Loved it! The ending was a bit rushed but I seriously enjoyed reading this ❤️

I didn't read it till now because of some low reviews so I just wanted to say, don't assume things unless you've read far enough into the story. Stuff about MC indirectly causing other ppl's death, if you haven't finished the first arc, you probably misunderstood for lack of information.

I recommend this to people who like fluff. Yes, our MC is quite a bit superficial, he gets better, but he was literally chosen for being a... more>> face-con so I think that's a mindset people need to accept early on.

Arc 3 literally killed me with cuteness 😵 did not expect that haha <<less

The novel is fun and interesting, but I’m docking a star because the end is slightly unsatisfying. The answer to the overarching mystery is revealed, and then that’s it. We don’t get to see the main characters reaction! Ahhhh... it just needs one more paragraph! The one chapter extra was also too short to heal my heart.

One mystery that is never solved:

The purpose of the survival/horror game is not revealed. Perhaps it’s a form of purgatory or samsara for dead souls since all ‘players’ have already died once?

IT'S SO GOOD!!!! I binge it for two days I really like the cruiseship arc and village doll arc it's really cute. But the ending is rushed, it left bad taste in my mouth. I really wish the author would write some extra chapter.

This novel is way too good!

It's very well-written and the plot settings were amazing. Every arc was eye-catching and unique. The characters weren't bland and had their own distinct characteristics.

I'm just a bit dissatisfied with how little arcs there were! (｡•́︿•̀｡) The ending wasn't sudden, but it just felt lacking. Not in a wrong way, but probably because I'm craving for more extras!

I was actually gonna give it 5 starts but too bad the ending wasn't what I was looking for : (It was too abrupt and like could have been better done. The arcs and overall feeling of the "games" was interesting and I liked the horror theme too. I personally liked how shameless MC was or the way he is a face-con really did make the novel funnier but idk I would have liked it more if I felt the love between MC and ML.
