The protagonist is a face-con – he likes good-looking people, can’t say no to a pretty visage and is filled with thoughts of love. One day he bonded with a target-capture system where he can travel from world to world and experience love with the most handsome (key point!) target!

The number of players in each game is not set. The protagonist has only one target – the most handsome one. As he falls in love, he realizes… the other players perhaps, maybe, probably… have Horror? Survival? Escape-type games?

The ML in the doll arc is sooo cute. I don't think I have seen a cuter ML than this one. The doll arc (humanoid village) is a must read arc, ML is a small doll. It's such an interesting arc with quite the fluff (ML kept selling meng here and there).

For this novel, some arcs are so-so while some are great, you just need to see which one suits your taste. Unfortunately, the ending of the novel is a lil bit disappointing. Nevertheless, this novel is a fun read... more>> and I would probably re read it again someday. <<less

This novel is totally my type. This is the first time I see survival game turn into funny and romance one in a good approach. The plot line is different and special. ML is also bf material type. My most fav is little doll Mo Mo.😍😍😍😍. My heart melts everytime I read the action of my baby doll. So so cute. MC is face con and a little unfair for ML but just look in a comedy way. Don't dig too much.

Summary: If you look for

✅Fluffy, sweet, 100% dog food,... more>> romantic,

✅Handsome ML (ML is most handsome)

✅Comedy. This novel is for you.

But if you look for pure survival game type, thrilling type, this is not for you.

There is two thing I don't like about this novel

Spoiler

I feel like the same ML didn't follow the MC and it was like MC combined all the mls into one in the last arc.I'm a little insatisfied with this.

2 is ending. The ending is not my liking. But It will be different according to your likings.

Tbh one my favorites, I liked every world. It was interesting and entertaining. I don't think It was perfect but It is likable, which is the most important. The cruise arc is one of my favorites, I keep coming back to it.
Spoiler

I wish we got more extra stories to see more of ML's new personality as it's a mix of all

It starts off very interesting. The premise really caught me and the first arc seemed interesting and kind of similar to QT horror but not series that I can't remember the title of and the boys of humor was cute... But there's just something lacking.

MC basically just had crushes on the best looking person in each game but at the same time it's not a face con thing. The system tells him his target is an NPC or a doll, etc and MC would accordingly target someone that meets that... more>> criteria. There are other good looking people around him. If he truly was a face con then he'd be weak for any pretty face, not just the target.

The world's itself. Honestly it seems like most players would die in each game. The arc with 100 players only had 5 survivors. If each game was that tough, how come MC keeps meeting SO many players who have survived 2 or 3 plus games? They'd all be genius players then, not people making some seriously dumb mistakes.

I'm on chapter 137 right now and honestly it's a struggle trying to finish it because it isn't so interesting anymore. I know what the author was probably trying to aim for but didn't reach it.

Also seriously feels like ML feels a lot more deeper than MC... But at the same time in not sure what ML is interested in MC for? <<less

Wow, this was so fun to read! I liked the ending, even though it was very abrupt.

The premise of the QT survival game is familiar (like I Rely on Kisses to Clear Survival Games perhaps), but I sorta liked the extra gorish-ness of this one. Also the sprinkling of spiciness.

Good story. Not for everyone, and the ending is a bit rushed. Like others said the MC is a face-con and the ML feels so different in each arc it doesn’t feel 1v1 until the last chapter really. At the end of the second arc and during the third though he feels less just for the face and genuinely likes the ML though so it’s not just face-con. It helps that the MC is super aware of his face-con ness though.

A bit oof here; the MC is a face-con, so you can't help doubting if the MC truly likes the male interests in its entirety or just the face (as well as if he's just gaining their love just to leave the game...)... also, I thought it would be messy with all those male leads, and it truly was messy, which leads to the ending being too rushed, there's not enough closure. I guess a good thing from this novel is that altho it's a face-con MC, there's still a... more>> lot of lovey-dovey scenes and dog food with all those male interests. The horror aspect to it was nicely described too. So, if you have nothing to read, then give this a try too?

But but

A decent read. I loved MC’s humour, and some of the bosses made my heart skip, haha. MC’s character was pretty consistent and reasonably caring.

The main plot was nice, but it felt rushed and incomplete... Also, I found everything (basically clearing the game) too easy for the MC, and his “love” felt really shallow.

That’s all there is to say, really. An okay read.

I have... things to say. Four stars is a bit much, actually, but the 2 and 3 star reviews aren't really fair either, so it's for balancing. I'd personally give it a 3.8.

First off, as someone who likes infinite flow horror novels, I definitely agree with the people who say the MC is a pig teammate. However, since he didn't have the same goal as the others in the first place, and was naturally suspicious in every world because of his strange actions, I can understand why he chose to... more>> ignore them even when he could help. He's not very smart in the first place, and most of the help he could provide would likely increase their suspicions of him, leading him to be stabbed in the back. In this sense, not helping those dying was one of the smarter things he did in the novel, since it's beyond his capabilities to do so without seeking death in return.

That said, between that fact that prevents him from being a more typical hero protagonist, and his treatment of the MLs, I gotta say, the dude's pretty morally ambiguous.

Here's what basically happens in the first four arcs:

Spoiler

The first world with Sun Mo wasn't so bad. He felt like it was all just data in the first place, and he did genuinely like Sun Mo (even if it was only due to his face) to the point where he was trying to hinder the players from harming him (and he DID believe Sun Mo was harmless, so he believed he was morally correct in siding with him). He left Sun Mo a little suddenly, but not by choice.

In the second world, death was frickin' everywhere, whether the MC contributed or not. He did seem to genuinely fall for Austin, at least a bit, though it all stemmed from his face once again. It was bound to happen by the end of the month-long task, but he ended up leaving halfway through on accident, when Austin sleepily replied to his confession. The MC genuinely regretted it, as he hadn't meant to leave yet.

It's the third world people (including me) have a problem with, as the MC essentially tricked Little Doll into responding to his confession right after promising to be with him forever. It was here that he really gained the title 'Scum MC' for the readers. Though, the players that arc were written in a way, I wanted the MC to actively kill them off. That (and Little Doll and the 'love rival') was the redeeming point.

The fourth arc was a little boring, simply because the ML was kind of boring. I love escape room games, but that wasn't fun to read in any way for me.

[collapse]

I have problems with the romantic aspects, dramatic aspects, and horror aspects.

ROMANCE: Nearly every ML immediately falls for the MC. The saving grace is that, unlike most stories where this phenomenon goes unexplained, in this case
Spoiler

it's confirmed in the fifth and final arc that, after making Sun Mo fall for him in the first arc, and strengthening the ties in the second arc with Austin, the Boss' data, once retracted from the world, was infected upon reuse, thereby causing future incarnations to feel the attraction and possess the occasional memory the previous incarnations did. This was only possible because the MC chose the bosses who had the data of the main system.

[collapse]
It feels a bit convoluted, but whatever, at least it's explained. Better than the soulmate excuse, in my opinion. As for the MC... he really doesn't seem to be very 'in love', in my opinion, even in the end, but since he's the spoiled type, maybe he is. And since his face-con tendencies seem to be a genuine mental illness, I'll even waive the complaint that he's a cheater. Since we never got proper below-the-neck scenes, and the ones that came close happened after he was sure the data was the recycled data of a previous capture target, we can let that go and accept this somewhat morally ambiguous harem he'd nearly built up.

That brings me to another issue I have with the story, though.

Spoiler

Why did the author feel the need to have the vanilla main system cause the apotheosis of the cute and serious Sun Mo, the reliable and smart Austin, the adorable and tragic (no thanks to our MC) Little Doll, and the, uh... boring and slightly pe*verted fourth guy I don't remember the name of and Austin-like fifth guy who started off the fifth arc, fusing them with him and essentially denying their individual characteristics that made the readers fall in love with them in the first place?

[collapse]

Anybody reading 'I Ran Away after I was Forced into a Love Polygon'?
Spoiler

What the MC and the main system ML end up doing in this is what the villain ex-MC and his system were wanting to do in that. I don't care about the last two, or the final system or whatever, but Sun Mo, Austin, and Little Doll were very interesting, very different characters, and their final ending was to disappear. They may be inside the main system, and maybe they're happy like that, since the main system is always with the MC, but as a consequence, their names, faces, personality, and general sense of existence was straight-up killed.

[collapse]
Let's move on.

DRAMA: Stems from the different MLs' jealousy of their other selves and others. And the MC coming to terms with the fact that he's a scum, I guess.

HORROR: What horror? We know the MC will be fine no matter what just from the summary. The ML is the big boss, so what can happen to him? None of the side characters beyond them are given enough importance for concern to be earned. Even the MC feels disassociated from the horror around himself, knowing he'll be fine. The most horrific moment of this novel was the end of arc three. Readers know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Little Doll deserved better...

Also, in general, those playing a horror game died way too easily with nothing they could do about it. They didn't gain stats or items, and were just going from one death game to the next without any reward or goal. Why WERE they trying so hard, even though they were already dead? There were no benefits, only suffering. Maybe it was mentioned that if they survived so many worlds, they could be revived, but I missed it if it was stated, and given the death rate of just one world, five seems to be the most even a big boss type player would survive. When you really think about it, you wonder what the side plot's point was at all. <<less

I personally gave it 5 stars because the novel finished with some satisfaction. It's not perfect. Its ending was somewhat rushed. But it finished!

And it's also my first time reading the completed translation of Isekai World Hopping Novel. I had finished Isekai Novel before, but the one with World Hopping, this is first time. So I gave it 5 stars though I originally intended to give it 4 stars.

The MC is fun to read! Enjoyable though maybe some of you would find him a bit dislikable after finished a certain... more>> arc. He's still very decent character and tried his best!

It has Harem Element because
Spoiler

The ML is a Multiple characters with different Data that infected by the first two MLs' data aka their Love toward the MC. But no worries, MC found a way to make their Data turned into One Body.

My first time read world hopping with this kind of Harem element
Spoiler

Because Usually in other Isekai World Hopping Novel, the ML always has the same Soul in every world.

But I can't judge since I only have read less than 10 Isekai World Hopping Novel. And this is my very first time read and finished the one with Completed Translation while others' Translation still On-Going.

While the ML is Yandere, our MC is NEVER get hurt by the Yandere Personality. Or even get hurt in General. But the ML does show Sadistic Tendency. <<less

This was so much fun. A scummy MC who only falls in love with a persons face, gets taken through various horror worlds where his goal is to capture the heart of the level boss, and everyone else in the level has another goal that will likely end in their deaths.

This one isn't perfect, the kissing and PG13 'sex' scenes are some of the worst I've ever read. The ending, while resolved, was too rushed and felt cheap. Some plotholes and unresolved things are annoying. In the last arc, you... more>> can feel that the author was a little too eager to move on. It wasn't as good as the other arcs.

Spoiler

The most annoying thing for me, was that every world was set up to try and move the protagonist away from being a facecon. Like, to help him develop a deeper love. But it plain never happens. He acts like one in love, but it's always about the face even at the end. What's the point of setting up every world to teach him that lesson, only for it not to matter at all? The author must have gotten really bored of writing this in the last arc.

[collapse]

But the rest of this was a great ride with interesting worlds, good minor characters, and it was nice to have a MC that was morally bankrupt and yet still likable. Not easy to do that.

Well worth the time spent reading. I binged it in 3 days (*/_\) <<less

Though there was some horror element in the story, it couldn’t be said to be an horror genre but a romance filled with a bit gore and mystery instead.

I enjoyed the journey of MC hopping around different worlds and I panicked when the story drifted towards BE but it was HE at the end yay so I was glad. But I did not like the way the story ended. It felt so abrupt and rushed like the author wanted to end it quickly so they just added whatever made a... more>> little bit of sense together and finished it. Overall, it’s a pretty decent novel to read for a past time. <<less

I loved reading this novel. All the arcs are enjoyable and plot and background characters are so good. Interactions between the MLs are superb. But I would like to add that the ending of the novel was unsatisfactory. In my opinion, it would've been better if author wrote about how all the Bosses reacted after becoming one or little bit more about the interaction between main system and Yue Yue.

apart from the ending being a bit rushed I did enjoy all the arcs... A lengthier ending would have been better tho.

Plotwise, it does have some holes and might not be the absolute best BL story you ever read. But it's a good romance story with extra elements to keep things interesting.

A solid 3. In the beginning, it’s a hit or miss novel. If you don’t like the MC right in the beginning, you probably won’t like him in the end. In fact, maybe you’ll hate him more. He’s scummy. He quickly gets over the previous ML.

Spoiler

Doll Arc: Great arc, but the ending is sad. MC tricked ML into saying, “I like you” only leaving the ML 30 minutes later. It broke my heart. MC saw ML suffer after he was gone. He cried for a few minutes or something like that before going to a new world go hook up with another ML.

[collapse]

I almost dropped the novel in the last arc since MC literally forgot he kissed an ML. Also, you’ll probably get annoyed with floor 2.

Spoiler

If he have s*x with ML then ML will let him pass through. WTH?

[collapse]

The author could have better plot with ML in the 7th floor and 2nd floor. Actually, scratch that- The arc should be rewritten. It was rushed and the ending was a bit annoying. Like the translater said- “it left a bad taste.”

Hmm... Aside from no character growth from the MC and the rushed ending, the novel was good.

It’s a good feel novel. Especially arc 1-3. Arc 4 is just weird and 5 is bad.

I liked the interaction between the MC and ML in the beginning arc. Pretty cute, so I’ll give it a 3. If only the author kept up the momentum in the beginning until the end and gave MC some character growth. It really had great potential... <<less

Its a good premise and a good journey/ride but the ending is really unsatisfactory. Its downright confusing. I don't really get what happened.

It would be nice if the system went out with MC or an all in one? If it did.

The sanatorium world wasn't really explained. I did really enjoy the settings of the horror game though. Very funny.

The interaction between MC and ML is very2 cute. There isn't much drama. I can see why some people dont like MC because he might seems a bit 2d, but from the timeline, I can understand a bit why there's little character development

Although the ending is abrupt the extra chapter finishes it off nicely. So for me who only focus on MC and ML it doesnt seemed too rushed. If you are the type to look at the whole picture then yes there... more>> are some questions that haven't been answered. <<less

I enjoyed this tremendously.

Horror, quick transmigration has always been one of my favourite genres and this novel didn't disappoint. It has the perfect amount of horror mystery to keep you hooked, and comedy that keeps the story on a light note. The romance did not disappoint either. It is so good that you literally can't stop reading. After I finished, I ended up wanting more.

However, the ending needs to be improved. It's too abrupt and confusing. Author definitely could have added a couple more chapters to help it end more... more>> smoothly. I mean, it's already 140 chapters, a couple more couldn't hurt, right? The extra managed to tie the loose ends rather well, but for a novel this long, I would have preferred a more satisfying and coherent resolution. <<less

Misplacement Game is pretty fun! There were moments where I was touched (Humanoid Village is so creepy yet cute!) and the arcs were very interesting. I like the male leads and Xu Ziyue is pretty funny lolol. I think that his face-con nature is pretty interesting! Totally a bit of a diversion to the regular main character and it would lead him to various shenanigans! (And it also makes sense in the narrative.)

The thing is even with all of my praises, I definitely had a... more>> hard time looking at this as something to latch onto. In the end, I wasn't sad that it was all over... this is more like a popcorn novel that can make you laugh out loud at times on the amount of absurdity MC gets himself into.

Not only that, but the ending...I mean, it's okay, but yes, it definitely felt like the author was just eager to finish this so they just tied up all of the loose ends very clumsily, though it is an interesting end...

There were also a LOT of last minute exposition. The last parts of the last arc really made me tired and confused in reading the exposition. Not anything wrong with KK's translation, she is fantastic, but the content itself just made me confused before I just pieced the core ideas together.

Anyways, with that said, this was pretty fun to read! Thank you to KKTranslates for another wonderful translation! <<less
