Frankly, I cannot comprehend why the other reviewers insist on comparing this story with Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil. For one thing, the only elements the stories have in common that I can find are that they are both danmei and there is some form of transmigration. For another, it likely set my expectations too high and made this story seem worse than it probably is. There are several stories that are much closer to QWFOD both in terms of spirit (story elements and feel) and quality (of... more>> character and plot).

I'm tempted to go into a long compare and contrast diatribe, but I won't. I don't enjoy this novel. I find it boring and the characters are just too idiotic.

The MC barely has two brain cells to rub together, and it's clear that that isn't because of the amnesia. He will start crying uncontrollably if the ML takes two steps away from him with another person. He is selfish and unthinking. He reminds me a bit of the MC from Cat K, only K does have a level of intelligence and autonomy.

The ML has two character traits: immediately loves the MC and spoils the MC. There really isn't anything else. He reminds me exactly of the first ML from Scattering IQ to the Protagonists when his IQ was still at 0%. He meets this person for the first time, and within the same day buys him expensive clothes, an expensive meal, and gives him his mother's jade, which the story makes clear is equivalent to giving him his mother's wedding ring. What idiot gives a total stranger his mother's wedding ring?

If this relationship had had time to develop, I would probably think it was pretty adorable. But since everything is so immediate and the character development so scarce, I just myself in a state of perpetual incredulous contempt. Each chapter is a struggle to read through. I'm tempted to drop it, but a part of me wants to keep going in case the other reviewers are right and this is actually a good story. I guess I'll keep on trying for now, for as long as I can stand it. <<less

New translator for this novel here! I'm a little biased though so please take my review with a grain of salt.

If you're here for plot, you may take your exit now. There isn't much plot at all. It's just: MC rolls in and acts cute, ML's heart goes doki doki and he falls in love. Bam, he'll protect the cutie he met literally 10 seconds ago. It's unrealistic.

However, if you're tired of reading angst-y BL novels and you're on the hunt for... more>> something sweet and light, then I would recommend this to you. Before you criticize the MC, you have to remember that the author did say the MC is incapable of anything else besides acting spoiled. You can't expect him to be a strong MC after reading that. He literally has no will of his own and even if he did, it's usually influenced by the ML later. He's just a spoilt, soft piece of dumpling who only knows how to hug someone's thigh, which is pretty cute.

In conclusion, this was a tooth-rotting read. I only read it (and later decided to translate it) because I wanted to share a soft, almost plot-free BL novel instead of the sad ones I've been reading lately. Please go easy on the feedback about the translations, I'm usually translating with negative amounts of energy. <<less

Bruh, don’t give a bad review just because it doesn’t suit your taste. The summary has already stated that the MC is incapable of anything except for acting cute and spoiled, so don’t expect anything other than that. This novel exists to generate fluff and whatnot and I personally like it very much.

Some people somehow got offended just because some reviewers here compared it to Quickly Wear the Face of Devil and you give it low ratings? C’mon, you’re ruining the novel by giving low ratings bruhhh.

It’s reasonable to say... more>> that this novel has similar aspects to QWFD, and it is not false.

So if you bad reviewers see this review of mine, I’m requesting you to re-rate the novel by giving it at least 4 stars.

If it doesn’t suit your tastebuds, then just delete your annoying reviews right away. If you don’t like, just ignore, why bother wanting to ruin it?

Please don't compare this to Quickly wear the face of the devil, its nowhere close. If you want fluff, this has fluff. The MC is cute, like a small, furry animal, the ML is devoted, but there really isn't too much plot. There's smut (supposedly), but you'd hafta go through the author's weibo for it and its too much work. If you're looking for an intelligent MC, look elsewhere but if you want kinda brainless fluff, this is the novel for you.

I read this with MTL so I may be wrong about some of this but it's a good, light read if you have spare time or just want some fluff.

P.S. The author mentions "ass eggs" enough and finally turns him into an actual egg. <<less

This is a super-fluffy series with dozens of chapters of nonstop flirting. The sugar is so overloaded, it makes me want to gag. The MC and ML fall in love at first sight with no development or reason at all, and they start betraying they rules they live by and get frisky and then get married within twenty-four hours of meeting each other. Seriously, who spiked the punch? Did they stop taking their meds? There's no logic behind this at all.

There really isn't much plot or character depth. The MC... more>> is an annoying, extremely clingy, immature person ens*aved to a system but who just begs and wants to be spoiled all the time. The ML exists only to pamper him. The side-characters feel like they exist in name only.

This is not a story--this is only flirting and fluff. I can't even call it romance because there isn't any natural development between the leads at all. It's just "BAM! WE'RE IN LOVE!" completely out of the blue.

A couple of reviews compare this series to Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil, but the only similarities are that the series are Chinese BL with a system. That's it. Although that series is possibly one of the most famous with such genres, it is definitely not the only one and does not share any other similarities with these series in regards to plot, character depth, development, suspense, or comedy. If you are looking for the heart-wrenching imagery and brutal dramatic plot lines that make QWFOD stand above so many other danmei, this is NOT the place to find it.

If you're looking for paper-thin characters flirting with each other right from the start without developing their relationship and having no plot, this is for you. <<less

FIRST THING FIRST, PLEASE DON'T COMPARE THIS STORY AS THE SAME AS QWTFOD.... Really, the MC is totally definitely absolutely opposite from the MC of QWTFOD. He's just someone who doesnt have ability and act cute, sell meng/moe, and act spoiled aaaaallll the time. Really, I dont understand why people make it the same as our beloved cunning and evil MC of QWTFOD. The only similar thing are this is danmei or Chinese BL, and this is a world hopping/transmigrating/quick wear story. That's it! It's a lightweight QT novel without much plot, heavy theme or thickset drama.

I find it unreasonable that people compared this to QWTFD... When you read QWTFD's synopsis, you can expect it to have action and edgy angst but when you read the synopsis of this one, you can expect abundant scattering of dog food.

It's funny that many QT novels are compared to that one. They're not even the same genre. It's like you're reading with a sun visor or a Category 4 sunglasses. <<less

I'm not a fan of extremely naive and brainless MCs, but it's so dang hard to hate this MC. Honestly, after reading sad novels I just want a dose of sugar and this novel is my go-to fluff provider! Because the novel was dropped, I decided to MTL and the fluff is, fortunately, still there. If there are more people who want to read this novel, I might even consider picking it up!

Never compare this to FOD please. It's really 8176263647e8% different. Tbh I don't really like how the story is worded or written, it's a bit childish for my taste. I don't know if it's the translators fault or it was just the author's actual style. I find the characters overly cute but I am still grateful the translator pick this up.

The strength and weakness of this story lies with our shou MC. He is too much of a pushover but he is also really cute (too cute it's borderline cringey).

If... more>> you're looking for plotless fluff, you could try this one out. You can tell the plot is there but you'll find yourself actually questioning where it is going or whether if it's still there lol. And please, DON'T EVER compare it to FOD. PLEASE. <<less

I agree with the other comments~~. If you like QWFD, then you'd like this too! The MC is the total opposite of the MC from QWFD. This MC is more cute, fluffy and ignorant.

like QWFD, u will get many story in one novel. The story one is about little fox X Demon lord and story two about Vampire X Hunter Vampire.

Even though I said this is slightly like QWFD, but the it is differen too. Cause we will get a sexy story in QWFD and smart MC who devout himself to solve his mission, in this story, we will get

I MTL'ed this but will definitely read it again translated. It's just toot-rotting fluff. Don't expect any great plotlines, awesome character development, etc. Just go in reading when you have some free time. Don't take it too seriously. The MC is just there to sell meng and the ML dotes on him like crazy.

If you're easily angered, can't take a light read, is a plot-wh0re, then I suggest leaving this story alone and move on.

I just want to say, somewhere it mentioned Su Tang isn't troublesome, just delicate. Excuse me, author of that statement, do you even have a conscience???? "Not troublesome", are you kidding me????

Sigh, I just want to say MC is the DEFINITION of the mary sue character. No, he's not the mary sue character, he's the mary sue halo itself alright.

I will say that the author is upfront about the MC's... incapabilities from the start. Like at least he's not one of those hypocritical mary sue pretending to be "I'm so... more>> strong & independent" characters though. That makes it much less annoying to read. <<less

If you are in the mood to read some fluff then this the right book. And if you like novel that are similar to Born to be Rebellious [Quick Transmigration] then this novel would bound to let you down cause it's simply have a very SIMPLE plot and the MC is not smart, he is- as a commentor say a mary sue halo (not those MCs with those mary sue halo- no, he's the halo).

There is no plot just a lot of fluff and a bit of smut (I think) in LP, QWFD on the other hand has a lot of complicate plot. Comparing those two are like some people comparing a homecooked soup and a soup made by professional chef, or how idiot read novel thriller compare it to children book and say children book is too naive so like- are you seriously trying to compare them??? No offense, but seriously MC is a bit more like the MC in Unlucky Radish Occupied the Seat Again.

Anyway, MC is very cute and even if he learn a skill he bound to forget them anyway after failing to clear his mission. But although MC is like someone who lean on dependent people, his system has never manage to threaten him cause if that were to happen MC would cry- which the system got a trauma about it. MC behaves like a child, his body is described with words like soft, delicate, tender, unconsciously seductive... and the ML lusts after him from the first sight... oh, no, I meant from the first grope, since he actually feels up MC's butt-cheek before he even sees him in human form (and then barely thinks about anything except MC's body for the remainder of the chapters I read). I am very uncomfortable this kind of vaguely-pe*ophilic novel (it's probably not pe*ophilic and MC is probably old enough, but the descriptions of... more>> his body and his behaviour make it feel like it is).

The translations good but the MC is an idiot. Every arc he gets his memories erased because he falls for the ML and doesn't complete his mission. Then because he doesn't remember that happening he does it again. It's repetitive but the plot is interesting so, if you can overlook the rest it's still pretty good.

If you want to read some fluff and a little bit of smut then this might be something for you.

MC's & ML's interactions are so lovely and adorable. Therefore, don't be surprised that this novel focuses more or rather >> only << on their relationship.

Now to my review: Some parts are rushed and really cringey which is why I'm a little bit dissatisfied with this novel. The MC is cute but dumb af which kinda annoys me sometimes. There's also no character development whatsoever which is a little bit disappointing,... more>> since it makes the characters look so shallow. Even so, I can't bring myself to totally hate this novel cause their relationship is so cute and I need some fluff in my life....

Now, comparing it to QWTFOD does not make any sense to me. Face of the Devil is a novel which contains lots of angsty and action-packed moments. The plot is much more „heavy" than this one. The MLs and MCs are also totally different when it comes to the personality-aspect. The only similarity the novels exhibit is that both are danmei and transmigration occurs but that's basically it.

This novel here is 100% fluff. I would understand the comparison if the world MC transmigrated to plays a bigger role but fact is: it doesn't. In QWTFOD the world (the MC acted in) & the mission played the biggest role... (the revenge, characters, etc. were all in the center). Here, the world and their characters are kinda neglected. Instead, the love between the ML and MC are more showcased, so we do not have much insight on other characters or the world in general. I would never compare an angsty novel with a pure fluffy novel. The main focus of both novels are just too different. All they have is the same „setting/framing" which would be the transmigration part. <<less

I have not read far from the raws. I don't even remember where I stopped at cause I accidentally deleted it. But let say this and by far this novel is the most diabetes inducing yaoi novel I have read.

Every damn chapter was so sweet its literally killing me slowly and I love it. I read in one of the reviews here that there's like two arcs which was fox and priest, and vampire hunter and vampire.

The MC is a cannon fodder. He was reincarnated and was used to fulfill... more>> task like in QWFD and LMTY, but more towards QWFD due to its multiple versions the story takes. However this MC has memory loss or amnesiac so he doesn't have past memories. His personality is a spoilt, caring, maybe a bit selfish guy? (Well honestly not sure about his age but he is pretty cute tho)

The male lead is the well 'male lead'. Not long after meeting with MC he was already smitten like crazy. He might be a bit pe*verted but he's a gentelmen tho so its not like he'll do something naughty hehe.

Both MC and ML interactions are so so sweet. The MC a bit oblivious but that doesn't stop him for being cute. Male lead also is being really caring towards MC making a rather lovey dovey image going one between the both of them.

While its sweet the first arc is pretty short in my opinion but I rather enjoy those shortness actually. I dunno about the second arc but it is promising. And I would recommend this for a read if you're looking for overdose of sweetness. <<less
