Louie became a mythical dragon that was capable of traveling between Earth and the Otherworld at will.

From this point on, the number of races in the Otherworld became more plentiful. His territory was orderly and clean, with incredible cuisine, countless novelties, and civilization and philosophy ahead of the whole world.

On Earth, his existence caused the rebirth of magic and mythology, allowing him to become the only God.

“I am the Golden King, the Giver of Life, the Champion of Magic, the Weaver of Dreams, the Guardian of the World, the Master of Time. Let mortals bow down before me and look up! Let the Gods tremble in fear before me!”

i haven't read much yet

love a MC that doesn't get nerfed 3 seconds into power

... more>> only problem is the MC talks like a Young Master, hopefully that doesn't last or at least doesn't get a bunch of fanboys/girls getting a hardon, encouraging the Young Master Dragon attitude but ya know, "Dragons Pride" so.. eh...

edit - kinda getting a bit cringe now, MC keeps talking about making kids with everything he lays his eyes on like some kind of h**ny 12 year old

edit - kinda getting a bit worried, MC was Chinese, novel is Chinese, MC does stuff on earth, tag that says nationalism, really worried its going to turn into all countries attack MC except china and china ruling the world China numbah 1 all prays peaceful justice seeking china numba1

also since that tag I was looking at the others and they are also concerning

i really hope this doesn't turn into Alpha Male God Sleeping with the "Flower" of each race and "Conquering" untouchables Goddess and sh*t like that

these authors have a history of adding that stuff for views because it attracts the h**ny neckbeards of their respective country

edit - literally next chapter and the title is "Putting the United States of America in the Palm of your Hands
jesus f*cking christ if he doesn't also attack other countries im dropping this

- yeah kinda went to angry sleep and decided to just drop the novel, even if he does attack the other countries its probably not gonna make it better, just a bunch of "Non Magic Earth Must Bow To My Dragon Penis" <<less

It has potential, but the "intelligent" life form that's supposed to be striving for the protagonist's survival since it also means its own survival is screwing him over and over again, by teleporting him to a random location with no guarantee of safety, and then setting the portal in the center of attention of the world while the protagonist is weak. No matter what a character in a novel can at most be as smart as the author and it doesn't seem like we have a smart author here. Also... more>> apparently his body is modelled based on the dragon overlord's body yet he's weaker than a normal adventurer in the other world and apparently the dragon overlord's divinity (who's supposed to be even stronger than gods) can only push the protagonist to demigod level when he's inherited the entire thing. Too many inconsistencies, I'm out. <<less

Okay, I normally dont write reviews, no matter how much I love a story as long as I see that its gotten traction, for example the novel "Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?" I absolutely ADORE, but I didnt write a review since it would just get drowned by everyone elses. But this story is different so I decided to make a little review as of now.

Okay first of all, I love this story. It isnt for everyone but I definitely think that this story should be getting more positive traction... more>> than it is. The MC is pretty smart, not really a genius, but he definitely isnt s*upid. He is pretty adaptable which is nice since he isnt the kind of MC to give huge bias to humans and because of that make bad decisions. I cant say how many times Ive read a story where the MC is a demon or something, and they overly bias humans or their human morals even though theyre basically a god of destruction. He is ruthless, and I LOVE IT. He still has some human morals, but the instincts of a dragon take major precedence which is great.

The world building is very good, not perfect but definitely well above average. Although the story, so far, is EXTREMELY GOOD (in my opinion). I cannot give a perfect 10/10 YET, this might change in the future as more chapters come out so I can make sure the story doesnt just kill itself halfway through.

To keep this review from getting too long, Ill end it on this note. I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves a strong, badass and ruthless MC. It picks up moderately quickly but dont get 2 chapters in and drop it before you get a taste the story.

I will update this review if anything changes as I read more chapters since the translators are amazing and giving us daily releases. (Also the translations are very good grammar wise)

As of Now: 9.5/10 <<less

This would be rather good as I really enjoy his time in the alternate world but, when he returns to earth the second time it loses a lot of it's charm.

First time reviewing something so bare with me if this has any typo or poor grammar.

  • Thoughts: It's too early to tell how good the story will actually be, but overall a great start and a interesting premise.
  • Characters: N/A (Too early to tell)
  • World building: It seems like this will have a lot of world building just based on the first 10 chapter (Not a godly level but better than most)
  • Translation: This is a hostednovel novel so you can expect good grammar and pretty much no mistakes. (based on the novels i've read before)
That's pretty much everything I can think off

Give it a read since it only has 10 chapters yet.

As of now, I am enjoying the novel. World building is fantastic. Not too much and not too little. Characters so far are pretty good. The novel has just started so only time will tell.

P.S.— Love how Green Moon reference Donald Trump. Lolz

MC is smart. story is logical. no unneccesory problem for MC without any cause. MC moral is acceptable. The problem start here- MC is way too pe*vert every time he thinks of f*cking someone and keeps f*cking ancient goddess unicorn, every race. he even start f*cking in front of child like daughter with a goddess who is her mother's enemy but you can somehow go through this cause its not too much harem (still in acceptable range). but main problem is MC acting like gods on earth (jesus, japnese god,... more>> ancient f*cking chinese emperor god, etc) which is way tooooo much cringe that even you will be ashamed to read. japnese, usa, korean people should avoid this reading cause too much tr*sh talk about your country. when ever MC on earth a lot of content about chinese culture is this that and rest of culture is bad. he just too much tr*sh talk about chinese culture and him acting like god will make you vomit. charater talk like typical chinese cringe novel.... good point is he doesn't kill too much people for his cause.. has been creating caos on whole earth but make sure not too many people dies so that's a good point. have protrayed china good but many country so corrupted that you will feel like he is talking about some chinese empror era..... I read upto last means you can also read just skip through chapter whenever is is acting like jesus on earth and talking about chinese culture... <<less

This novel was a 4/5 until he kept going back to earth, every time he goes there it becomes an incredibly cringe religion style fan fiction with an op protag playing god and it's beyond terrible, like the kind of tr*sh you'd find rated badly on royal road of all places.

I get it's part of the story but it could have been done way better, in our current society it'd be incredibly easy to start a dragon cult, especially after his first visit but NoOoOoOo he has to act out... more>> as the great god mastermind and it sucks. The only decent parts in his earth visit is the grammar but that's due to the translator.

I might read it more once this garbage Arc has ended. I only recommend you read this if you're dry on content and just want a strong non-human lead story <<less

One that you want to like, but the writing just isn't good enough to hold interest. Author tries to do the classic "what do internet commentors think" in a book about a dragon (and does it as poorly as I've ever seen it done). The return to Earth chapters are especially bad.

He spends half the time on Earth, which is almost always a bad sign in Chinese novels because it generally leads to nationalism (and guess what, it does). Why is a book about a dragon with a harem actually... more>> about stomping on the US, destroying Tokyo, and tricking Japan into a becoming a Chinese puppet?

The worst part is that it isn't even well done. There's no side character development or interesting storyline. No humor or suspense, just bland eagle eye view MC acting and the world reacting (like idiots mostly). <<less

Honestly I was surprised while reading this. I started reading just to get some tokens from the site and was planning to at most skim it but it caught my interest. It's a fairly fun little novel to read with an OP and decently intelligent protagonist and some light comedy.

The protagonist is a ever h**ny (yet not controlled by it) dragon with a weird intelligent creature living inside his body that gradually transforms his body according to some experiment by a super advanced civilization, but it's clear it has nothing... more>> good in store for the protagonist after his uses are done.

He's acting in line with how a dragon should act, c*cky, arrogant, lustful, loving wealth and valuing face more than a thousand chinese ever could, yet still able to keep some sense and rationality, a lot of these things are actually caused by something akin to instinct, like getting an insane urge to push beautiful females down or to gather and sleep on treasure. He discards his humanity for real, embracing his new identity as a god-like lizard and he doesn't have any real qualms about it.

This novel is pretty much made up of going back to earth to search for energy sources and for resources for his town/future divine kingdom and gathering faith from earth by playing around as a supernatural being and then the bigger part where he's in the other world and focuses on faith building which includes kingdom/city building and getting subordinates and political relationships. Later on a struggle with the gods that has partly already started will take the main light and even further on I bet the advanced civilization will be part of it.

I like how he's ruthless and doesn't get too involved emotionally. He stays quite faithful to his character setting of acting like a dragon should. His focus is and will always be to attain godhood and become the strongest, everything else is secondary and he can abstain from his desires if necessary. It's amusing how things often go back to sleeping with beautiful creatures, recently he even had some fun with an unicorn while transformed into one (dragons can transform into any race and see the beauty of any female, no matter the race). He will actively trick people to get his ways and I've honestly not seen him care about any of the characters more than as a tool or underling, even his harem members are just his property, he doesn't truly love or care about any of them, not even the most powerful one, I'm not sure if he'll ever get into a real relationship but boy does he get laid.

The main issue I have with this are two things. The first is earth. He goes back there every now and then for a while for various goals and honestly you can feel a lot of veiled racism. It's actually nothing that heavy compared to lots of chinese novels out there, but it's still there, mainly in the form of bigoted and prejudiced thoughts about other countries. President trump boy couldn't be more accurate though and he was hilarious, but then he turned serious and we never see that playful s*upid president side anymore. Of course the author set things up so that he could stir up chaos in USA and japan, especially japan while also throwing a few stray punches at korea. Still, it's veiled and not straightforward. In a way, it's actually a pretty accurate representation of what might happen. All in all, it's a minor annoyance, because the protagonist doesn't actually care about china. The author throws a few freebies at them but nothing big, to him china is just another country and he scams them as well to some extent. Sure, china takes a fairly big part in the story but not too much. Japan and china actually seems to end up joining up due the protagonist, which made me hella surprised, the author wants to pin culture against culture or perhaps more apt to say religion and mythology against religion/mythology to get more divinity, so it seems that related countries will end up joining hands. Some people said he just acts in the amazon jungle which is BS, he first ended up there but quickly left the jungle and from the second time on, he will screw around with all countries in the world.

Then to my second main gripe about this story, inconsistencies. The author is one of, if not THE worst, at keeping consistent. The people talking about world building mustn't have read too much or closely. First of all, the world is kinda dull, so is the power system and it hardly makes sense at all. There's little world building or actual explanations to speak of. Everything is quite simple as well, I guess that also makes it easy to read. Well, I lost count on how many times the author contradicted himself. First, he claims that faith can be earned on earth while still there and it actually happens, then he experiments on his next visit to earth and realizes that no, it's impossible. But it's possible for it to pass to the other world. Also, he claims the power on earth isn't there, then says it is, and somehow his spells work perfectly and no mention is made of why he can regain his energy reserves while on earth. When he goes to earth for some wasabi, he suddenly starts causing major chaos and all of a sudden he's not there for wasabi alone but a stable supply chain. An enemy mentioned someone's name as the one who betrayed her, but the next chapter she claims she doesn't know the name of the one who betrayed her and the name previously mentioned was someone unrelated. Author claims his divine authority reaches 100km around the city and he can perceive everything there all the time, even the movements of grass, but 20 chapters later he can only perceive 50km and it gets blurry towards the edges of this radius. Just a few I can remember. Overall, this story can be very confusing and random. The author explains a lot of stuff but ends up saying nothing of substance and most plot developments are clearly pulled right out of where the sun doesn't shine. I have never seen an author so bad at keeping notes and planning ahead, couldn't be clearer he's winging everything.

Overall, I give this a 4/5. I actually think it's more like 3.5/5 for enjoyment I derived but can't give half ratings and I don't want to lower the score even more and give it a 3/5. To be perfectly honest, I am starting to lose interest as of recently. I find the story's potential has been used up already and the author's failure to make the intelligent brain AI creature (kinda system like) a fun character and the MC becoming more and more rigid/serious/boring just ruins things. Sure, cool with a dragon but at this point it's starting to feel like a one-trick pony and that I know what to expect. It's fairly low-level writing tbh. Good to waste some time but certainly not anything close to a masterpiece. <<less

I would say this novel is quite uniqe, as its quite hard finding novel similiar like this.

Basically the story is about MC creating religion so he can become the strongest God through the power of Faith. The source of his Faith being from his current world and former world Earth.

What make me really love this is the way the MC create Faith on earth.

basically he use character and concept from mythology and fiction such as cthulhu, immortals, wizard, asgardian, Olympus, Celtic and even jesus.

He roleplaying on earth as those mythology character, showing the earth resident that their mythology about gods are actually real, thus making them religious and worship whatever God they believe in, those people thought they worship different God, while in reality they worship the same guy LOL, so through their worship the MC Will receive their faith that Will strenghten his divinity

Currently im only at chapter 650 since thats the farthest I could get from free website. (I read on Chinese site using translator) <<less

I don’t get the authors choice of making the protagonist into a small lizard (first chapter). I doesn’t seem to effect the rest of the story.

Protagonist is a baby dragon with some limited divine power. I didn’t find the synopsis particularly interesting but story actually delivers.

Is the protagonist op? Yes but it’s actually him pretending a lot of the time.

I usually don’t like Chinese novels because the language is so odd when translated. This one also has some of that. Yet it also has Trump as president of the US... more>> and a lot of other funny moments. <<less

Its not a bad series, id even say I really enjoy it.

We have this reborn human Louie who becomes a dragon, successor to the dragon god. As he learns and establishes himself his personality takes on the pride of a dragon and a god. His tastes become less base, planning more methodical, and the ambitions more real.

I would even say most of the series is a decent read. His debauchery makes sense, having a harem isn't that surprising as a god and dragon. The real flaw of this novel are... more>> the Earth Chapters. They're just garbage writing that takes us away from the actual plot. The was 1st couple added to the story but as the story progresses they become filler.

An example

protaganist goes to earth, reveals magic, creates magic school, puppeteers the entire thing. He wants faith from the world. Okay - your a god. But why magic? Why create such a tangible thing as a school? Just create some miracles and let the media buzz. A few dozen displays of power and your good.

Before I even say anything about how good this novel is, there is one thing that I would like to point out. Whether a story is good or bad, one thing will always determine your amount enjoyment, and that's the translation quality. My friends... he or she nailed the translation! Now on to whether is good or not, my rating should speak for itself, but I always encourage people to find out for themselves. So what I'm trying to say is... READ IT!

This novel has a bad case of "introducing the solution before introducing the problem", so the plotline has trouble being relevant. Rather, it feels to me like a slice of life with a lot of staged action sequences.

The reason it's a problem is that a lot of the "pre-solved problems" drag on, so you have 50+ chapters at a time with a lot of side of stories of people with no relevance to the main chapter whatsoever. Also, the protagonist gets an unusually low amount of screen time overall, so... more>> it's hard to enjoy purely as a slice of life.

With too many (consecutive) chapters with nothing going on, I can't recommend reading it as new releases come out, but there are certainly enough chapters available to binge and see if you'll want to read to the end. <<less

Edit: the story goes off the rails and becomes a harem/nationalist novel. Contrary to most readers, I found the earth arcs the only mildly interesting parts after a certain point. Even if his logic didn't make any sense...

There are a lot of changes in the beginning of the novel so you have to read about 20 chapters (where the kingdom building starts) until you know what this novel is about. This is very similar to stories like Release that Witch, but the focus is more on the protagonist... more>> getting stronger than the daily life of his subjects. <<less

Very good story. The author either has done their research or has tons of knowledge on various mythologies and legends. Especially on

stories about Cthulhu and Chinese mythology.

The story also has decent length when switching between multiple POVs, since I don't like it when the side character's POV is used for too long, that I forgot what the protagonist sounded like. Decent but kinda slow world-building, because the MC's power-ups takes priority.

The translation is also very good. The daily updates are also what I like. Definitely recommend.

the work does not deliver the plot itself focuses on dull things and forgets the main thing the whole arc of the earth makes me ashamed, if you intended to write about a dragon that thinks like a dragon why waste time with a human becoming a dragon. The protagonist gets strong for the purpose of getting strong. You the reader and the dragon gain nothing from it. In fact he loses everything to be a god and you who wanted a romance a harem a world domination just get... more>> pissed <<less
