Alert. English is not my first language.

Beautifull story. This have fluff, happiness, a piece of angst, plot and sane relationships. It sounds like nothing to much incredible but in a big part of stories ABO I have read not many have wholesome relationships. ML everytime takes notice of MC's opinion and is respectfull with that never forcing him to do something he don't want.

Mpreg is present and in normal conditions I wouldn't have read this story only of that tag but I hadn't notice it so... I have... more>> read it. This time opposite of other stories I haven't found it weird. In any moment of the story I found feminization for MC only for becoming pregnant. Or before that only for be an omega.

The politic plot isn't bad and basicly they're brothers fithing for the throne but personally I would like more details about what happened in the palace and the court imperial.

I haven't checked the main story yet, however I think I'm also going to like that one too coz I was really in favor of the authors writing style. Maybe because its short that's why I was able to appreciate it better. I like the details, the romance was also not off, and of course there is not much angst between the MC and ML so its the perfect piece to read after an angsty novel hahahha.

This story is so precious XD Yu Yan is a tsundere and ML and us Readers can see he is just so damn cute when he feeling rejected. He is charmed by the bodyguard ML's physique and feels attracted to him but is avoided haha It's a very sweet story between the couple plus I like that we can the ML's feelings early on too.

Soo cute!!. The pairing was really good and the extras completed the story. Although it was set on historical times there wasn't much of politics and was overall fluffy.

I really enjoyed this story. The Omega wasn't a frail creature totally under the control of his (or the Alpha's) pheromones. Their relationship with each other was very sweet and I enjoyed their growth as characters too. It was far lighter and fluffier than you'd expect from a palace drama and it was very entertaining to read. I give it a big thumbs up.

Cute, short, and nice. Perfect novel to read when you don't have much time. It's a wrapped up story in 25 chapters and very satisfying. Although the plot isn't much but it's enough to make you excited. I read this in two days and I won't hesitate to read it second time whenever I got time again.

Yu yan is cute in front of his beloved bodyguard that you wouldn't even believe such person can be this smart and wise. The shadow bodyguard have attractive characteristics. I loved it very much.

Pretty cute ABO that plays off the prince x bodyguard trope quite well. No angst or crazy misunderstandings. Just brief miscommunication that gets solved before things go south. It’s pretty cute & I always love the fact that ML seeks consent!

Nice little story - it's a novella, so a bit more fleshed out than a short story, but still a quick read.

Cute couple - sweet and loyal shadow guard gong x tsundere, smart shou. The relationship dynamic is funny at first, which the guard helping the prince "take care" of his problem, much to the prince's embarrassment. 100% consensual and gradually develops into a healthy romance (although it takes the CP a while to admit their feelings to each other), the plot summary is a little off and reveals a... more>> bit too much of the story. It has a bit of plot about palace schemes and the prince's fight for the throne, so it's not just romance. The MC and ML rely a lot on each other from beginning to end, and the romance was nicely developed. Would have been nice to see more of their life after the MC becomes emperor.

Read this before the prequel, and I like it a little bit more. Well-written for such a simple story, but nothing too special, just enjoyable and easy to read. <<less

The description is false! ML never talk to MC the way as described not even similar! The reason for me cutting 1 star!

My first read in which the emperor can bear kids (heir) himself from his favorite consort... has no harem... no empress vs concubines fighting for power ... not a typical emperor! The couple completed each other so well and the dynamism evolved positively (have to read till the end please!). The story is lightly plotted but nothing too serious nor heavy. This book was a pleasantly unsuspected surprise.

If you want non-overwhelming court drama with a steady plot and superb romance, read this book. A good story doesn't have to be complicated, It just has to put forth exactly the author's intentions which is exactly what this novel did.

None of the characters digress too much throughout the plot, and you can really follow through on MCs thought process.

the ML is the typical protector but not the typical alpha.

the MC is also not the typical omega.

I recommend reading after Marked by a Tyrant.

I m half way through and dropping it. I still don’t know any of the characters, the plot is average, the love story is not “healthy”. I give it only 2 stars, because the translation been good but the story and this relationship is not my thing. Neither the fact, that the second prince didn’t show once his “outstanding thinking”... he actually turned halfway through to an cliche omega he apparently never wanted to be
