I can say that I liked the idea behind MC's double crossing. That it was exactly him who lived in this world for quite some time, but later he crossed back, got his memories erased and because this triggered the derailment he had to cross for the second time. This idea is really great.

But there are few cons in this for me: 1) too little info on MC's past life before crossing, he only mentions why it was hard for him to trust ML, but it had little impact to me without foundation; 2) the world system said they have a task and never specified, if it's just ruling the world why create the rebel? I call it weak reasoning. 3) the aforementioned lack of drama, it was present but just.. As if it wasn't. 4) a bit of dubious content. 5) many of emotional scenes are concentrated on lack of trust, but later on it is solved yet appears numerous times again.. Though basically it sounds s*upid

MC transmigrated more than 10 years before and they both went through highs and ups of life. His mission was to help ML become the emperor. As an award he was granted with healthy legs. MC was disabled in his real world. He couldn't walk.

So when he achived it, he went back to his world and the system erased his memories. The many years spent in the novel world is equivalent to a few days in the real world. So when MC went back he was still a kid.

When MC went back, his body was naturally posessed by the system character and acted according to the plot, betrayed ML and rebelled against him. ML executed him personally. After that he became a full blown tyrant, waging war agains anyone and everyone. Not being able to handle being betrayed by the person he trusted with his life the most he broke down. He killed and tortured anyone that went against him.

In the end he set the cold palace which he used to live with MC when they were young on fire and died within the flames 😢😢

The system concluded this timeline as a failure and kept repeating it with different transmigrators but the results were the same or worse. In the end the system finally realised only MC can deal with this and found MC back and let him transmigrate again.

When MC heard about this through the system in the latter half of the novel, he was devastated. How many years has ML suffered bcuz he disappeared and felt extremely guilty. He went back to ML and cried on his shoulder while apologizing. ML was shockex and asked what happened.

All of a sudden, now there's a talking dog. This does not fit the established world or story tone. I am probably going to peace out at this point.

MC and the previous left prime minister is actually the same person, so ML is actually in love with the same person. There's a reason why MC looks different for 3 years and rebel

as in where MC transmigrates only to find out they had once transmigrated before in the past and they are the "real" MC in ml's eyes. Ugh I love it

the twist of the system plot also different from normal in a form of a talking dog, rather in the mind

the ML doesn't off with his head all his rivals
