unlike most rebirth novels he doesn't hide who he is/was from his closest friends. He tells them he's back as soon as they notice him though it doesn't stop people not in the know from giving him the stink eye for the bodies past behavior and it causes trouble with the former object of stalking. He solves it mostly by saying he's his own apprentice

The confession scene is: MC: “Do you know how much Old Ghost means to me?”

ML: “Yes”

MC grabs ML and starts kissing him

ML: “Maybe I don’t know”

And after that they are in a relationship

I'm guessing Shen Changyu's partner is Chen Anqi? In fact, these two seems to have backstory but we never get to know that even after 90 chapters. I don't get the chemistry between the two at all. The same goes for Liu Zeshen and Xiao Li, Xiao Li seems to resent LZS coz his cousin fangirls over LZS, but who is Xiao Li's cousin? Why does he care so much on who she liked? We never get to see this cousin at all. As for Yan Liangjiang, I almost forgot he even exist, and lo and behold, when he re-appeared there is Zhang Fengyu. Again, Idk how these to cultivated their relationship. We've seen very few scenes of them.

People who are familiar with MC and previous owner of MC's body notice that they've changed. It's a little weird that they immediately believe that MC got reborn just by some pretty vague clues, but sure whatever. What's refreshing is that if they confront MC about it, MC doesn't hide it and immediately tells them his identity.

MC's team Black Rose wins like every game 10:0 basically after he joins even though it was struggling a bit in the beginning... it feels like a one sided beatdown which feels not only unrealistic, but boring because you know no matter what happens or how they play, even if the strategy is super interesting, you already know the end result and can't help but just pity the opposing team for encountering this OP team.

I'm unsure if that changes in future chapters, but I'm nearly 2/3's of the way through and it hasn't changed which disappoints me a bit. I don't care if MC was a e-sports legend and genius strategist, there's absolutely no way he and his strategies can win every game 10:0.

Also it kinda makes me upset that the OG strategist of the team Shen Changyu pretty much gets kicked to the wayside in favor of the MC's strategies the further you go into the story. Again, maybe this is an MTL issue and he is actually helping plan strategies, but until this gets more translated chapters I'm gonna stay salty for Shen Changyu.

Like yes, MC was Shen Changyu's captain and taught him a lot, but Shen Changyu has also become a veteran of the game in the 5 years the MC was dead. Even if the MC started playing since Zone came out, he also only has 5 years of experience as well since the game is only 10 years old. Plus, even if he's quick to pick up what changed, Shen Changyu should still know the current e-Sports situation better than him. It's just a bit aggravating watching SCY just accepting whatever strategy MC gives him and they don't seem to discuss it at all.

when MC first tries to join the team because the previous owner's of MC's body was ML's stalker, but that gets quickly solved by saying he's his own apprentice which is why his playstyle is so similar. Which... doesn't really make sense why the team would suddenly be omg welcome after learning that considering they really hated the previous owner because he stalked the ML so much, but ok sure. Strength speaks and all that.

The only angst I can think of is the childhood friend of the previous owner, but it was like brushed over so quick I almost didn't have time to feel bad for him. When he figures out his childhood friend killed himself and there's someone else in his body now, he punches the MC, which, violence bad but understandable reaction I feel. There's like half a chapter total describing his grief and regret before we move on.

I wish we saw more of him and expanded a little more on his feelings of the topic, especially one of his lines where he thinks he was too self-focused before, if he had paid a little more attention to the previous owner, would he still be alive? That sentence hurrrrtt and I'm sad we don't go into it more because we so rarely get a character who was close to the previous MC, who also learns that the previous MC isn't there anymore, and feels sad about it.
