I had to stop reading after the "fake son" was being pressured into switching his grandmother's medication. I feel super bad for him, it wasn't his fault that he was switched and was never properly raised in a loving family. All he wanted was his father's love/affection/attention and the man who was supposed to do that failed him. It feels like the author set him up as a prop just for the drama. I don't want to know how it turns out, but the character is just a child who just had a terrible shock and couldn't make a right decision anyway.

I'd like to see him reborn and figure out a way to avoid the whole mess...

For the extras, I was really dumbfounded and shocked at the end. But instead of what many readers think, I have my own theory. And it's that MC did time travel. And the end, ML was actually seeing MC's second chance at life from that Virtual Reality Controller. For me, the emotions, feelings and the whole life of MC was too realistic to be judged as a virtual reality game. I believe he was real. Even if the ML really knew the MC, he couldn't have known him to the point of oblivion, or else he would have understood the decisions and emotions of MC perfectly, which he actually didn't. He knew the MC's habits very well, but he did not know his feelings. I don't think there's any way ML would have been able to recreate the MC wholly like a proper life. And MC even says at the beginning that he met ghosts, who told him of ML's identity as the male lead, and his role as a cannon fodder to not disturb the male lead and female lead.

There are many points, but I want to say is, for me, their second chance was real. Not a virtual reality.

I'd rather accept ML seeing the second life rather than all of this being a tragedy. Some points just don't match up.

I think the author very much wrote this a second chance at life story. But threw as in a loop with the extras. Author, I love you for writing this story, but for your extras, I am going to believe what I want to. Your tragedy tag won't work on me 😇

The last sentence of the extra really hit me..

What if everything was just Shen Cheng's wish?? How he hoped he would have done better? How he wished Jian didn't love him so much yet in the beginning just so he can properly pursue him..

And that everything.. from chapter 1 to chapter 122.. it was all just in the VR. A simulation for Shen Cheng..

What if we never received our happy ending in the 122nd chapter😭😭😭😭😭

I'm so f*cking sad right nooooooowwwwwwwww... 😭😭😭😭😭 I swear there's onky a few things I regret in my life but reading thr extra chapters really broke my anxiety filled, overthinking brain...

1. ML, though he is paranoid and possessive he didn't do excessive things like locking him up somewhere and prevent him from meeting other people.

2. MC, he isn't like those common reborn who did bad things and want to change or who wants revenge. I don't know if the novel said why he was reborn, maybe I missed it, but I think he was reborn to fix the misunderstanding between him and the ML.

3. ML's Father, he isn't like those brain dead parents who throw their real child for the sake of the child they taken care of for years.

1. It's a little disappointing that MC didn't understand the whole truth about the bankrupt of their company and his parents death. Since he thought that all of it are ML's doing, he will have a hard time accepting the love he has for ML.

Though in the story, the past was slowly forgotten.

2. It was amusing when I read the extra's. I didn't think that the author will used the VR that ML made to used as the different timeline for their story.

In his first life, MC was arrogant and ML lacked communicating skills which lead to many misunderstandings and their relationship becoming awkward. ML who had never known what love or family is thought that he had given MC everything so he should be happy. But MC never wanted his wealth or anything, he just wanted to spend time with ML and get along like a normal couple. ML only realized that he had missed too much when MC died. But there's no pill to cure regret.

At the start of the novel, it is shown that MC gets a second chance at life and is reborn in his junior high days, when he was 14. He tries to change his life and stay away from the ML but as a side effect of his rebirth he frequently gets headaches which disappear when he's close to ML and MC unknowingly starts paying ML a lot of attention and discovering things he didn't know about the ML in his past life and MC unknowingly helped ML several times when he was turning black.

In the extras it is shown that after MC died, ML developed a VR helmet but it was not told how many years it took and same with the rebirth of the MC. It was not told for how many years he was dead before he was reborn.

The end of the second extra shows that when the ML also died and his secretary found his personal VR helmet while going through his stuff and put it on that we are shown that the scene that appears is of MC in his junior high days AFTER he was reborn.

After reading some reviews my opinion is that when ML made his personal VR helmet MC's soul came into it and MC thought that it was rebirth and he was given a second chance while ML thought that while creating there was a bug but he couldn't care less because he wanted to see MC so he went on with it and the more he looked at it the more addicted he became. And the reason for MC's headaches should be related to that when he wanted to go away like in his previous life he went to buy water when they went up the mountain and missed the scene where ML saves the girl but is accused of leading them to go into the water and so on, but ML wanted him to see it for himself how he was wronged and so he tried to stop the MC from going which gave MC headaches so then MC would stop and see what actually happened.

But we have seen most of the things from MC's perspective so I can't be 100% accurate...

I was at chapter 65 and I thought to check review for some details and I checked the spoiler and I regretted it because I thought how could this fluff story have tragedy but nope all this story was virtual.

Now I can't read story any further because I don't have that much courage to read it while knowing the extra.

Neither my ignorance is strong to forget that there is extras.

I can't read this story any longer. Omg I hate myself so much.

I swear to god I never ever regretted any moment as this.

One more though it's my fault for reading spoiler but why is there no tragedy tag, is to maintain the surprise element???

I thought the extras were interesting (was not a tearjerker for me), it was interesting to see how the VR, which had been a mysterious element throughout the main story be brought in in-connection to the alternate past

Tang party I'm guessing should have been "Don" party since it's being led by Donald.
